I heard everything. The sound of the waves, birds, and everything everyone talks about.
It was never ending stimulation in my ears.
I started selling confessions, gossip, anything anyone wanted to get their hands on. 5 dollars to know who likes you. 10 to know what your best friend might be saying behind your back. The more daring, the more it cost.
That was until two days ago. I had overheard a girl, one with a small butterfly clip in her hair.
My heart skipped a beat. Time stopped. And all I could hear from that point onwards was her.
