Vex and Percy admire all the loving qualities about each other.

Notes:

Day 5 - vexations/smitten

Work Text:

What did Percy think of Lady Vex’ahlia?

He thought her stubborn and free-natured. If one had slighted her, Vex knew how to end and start a fight at any given whim. Set in her own ways, even though she was not raised long-term in nobility as he was. Sometimes care-free and nonchalant about the deeper part of feelings, but her charisma always ushered you in to some sense of peace to where you could brush it off.

And so begs the question, what did Lady Vex’ahlia think of her husband?

She thought him stuck in his ways, but that probably came at the expense of his more stuffy upbringing. Even if he chastised others about their emotions, it felt like a projection to the ones he never fully addressed. Thinking too high or too low of himself and how it indirectly was noticed by everyone.

And what, exactly, brought these two together?

It was because Percy admired Vex’s ferocity to keeping their family together. They were loved and chosen every day without the doubts of insecurities. An inquisitive nature with life skills made for a duo that felt they could conquer anything.  Even if there was any disagreement, it was sparse between the couple as they knew life was short and that their self-made joy was healing in of itself for this life and next if they found each other.
