Work Text:

The glass clinked upon riching the marble table that belonged to the manor lord as many knew him. “What is going on outside?” he asked the poor girl.

Terrified, she started to run to see what it was.

As she ran in “Sire, Sire. There here, the humans… their outside-” she was cut off by scott as he strode up from his chair “oh not this, again. you’d think that killing most of them should have stopped this, uprising nonsense. You-” before he could finish his ramblings the doors to the ballroom violently burst open.

“You will no longer terrorise us, you foul creature” someone yelled, it seemed to be the cleric, what was his name? Scott didn’t care “how cute you’ve brought me a full buffet” only then moving down towards the lower levels of his home. The stairs that were almost never used by Scott himself “You shouldn't have. Really you shouldn’t have” scott started baring his teeth towards the mob of humans.

Then the mob started chanting some sort of incantation of the holy word, how did they find that out.

Scott was met with a wave of exhaustion, grabbing the railing of the stairs. Trying to keep his balance. “What… What… What are you doing” he muttered the words slurring together. His surroundings became some sort of mush as he felt someone grab him and stab him, not with a wooden stick. Thank goodness, it was sharp. As the manor lord fell he began to fall into a deep slumber that would last years. The darkness fell. And light was restored once more.

600 YEARS LATER

With a jolt he burst upward, only to find a headache. With sweat dripping down his body, then his stomach started aching in pain. Pushing the lid of his coffin open, another shooting pain came from his stomach. When had he last eaten? That was something for Scott to deal with later. He gave himself a minute to compose and figure out where he was. Then it hit him along with another growl from his stomach

“They buried me in my own tomb!” the words echoed of the walls of his and Derek’s tomb
