Work Text:
Saeyoung glared down at the pile of clothes on his floor. He'd pulled every item of clothing he owned out of the closet, and none of them were the one thing he was looking for. It was getting cooler outside, and on the odd occasion he went outside, he'd like to be warm. But apparently his hoodie had grown legs and walked off since the last time he'd seen it, because it wasn't in the pile of clothes on his floor. He had others, but they were still packed away, and anyway now he wanted to know where this one was.
Maybe he'd just missed it. Sighing, he sat in front of the pile and started sorting through it piece by piece, making sure each one definitely wasn't the thing he was looking for.
"I'm home!" He perked up as he heard the front door close. Maybe she knew where it was. Even if she didn't she could help him look, and he'd take any excuse to spend time with her.
"What happened in here?" He looked up to see her standing in the door...wearing his hoodie. She looked down at him, blinking in confusion at the mess.
Saeyoung slid his glasses off and pressed the heels of his palms into his eyes. "Why are you wearing my hoodie?"
"It was cold." She sounded sheepish.
"You don't have hoodies?"
"I mean, I do - "
"You didn't think I might want my hoodie?" He stood, kicking the pile of clothes on the floor and planting his hands on his hips in exaggerated outrage. She bit her lips to hide the smile that was spreading across her face.
"You don't leave the house!"
"I might have! If I'd had a hoodie!" He threw his hands in the air. She lifted her chin, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Maybe I wanted to take you with me to work today," she said. A rush of affection shot through Saeyoung, killing even his mock agitation, and he stepped over the pile to stand in front of her. This close he couldn't help himself, sliding his hands under the open jacket to rest on her waist.
"You could just stay home with me," he reminded her.
"Would either of us get any work done?" she asked, lifting an eyebrow at him. Her hands rested on his chest, just her fingers poking out of the ends of the sleeves, and he pulled her closer.
"Maybe that's the point." She giggled, dropping her forehead against his chest, and he kissed the top of her head. "Just ask next time, okay?"
"Okay."
"Now help me clean this up."
She started to pull away. "Oh no; you made this mess."
"It's your fault!" He held her tighter as she squirmed, wrapping his arms fully around her. The tussle ended up with them both on top of the pile of clothes, her curled up against his chest.
"Keep the hoodie," he said after a moment.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah. Looks better on you, anyway."
