Helios Giustizia de Illumios & the Art of Voice Manipulation: A Basic Summary of Loquisms

Summary:

This is a basic summary explaining the Art of Voice Manipulation. It is very bare-bones & really only defines what a true Illumios Vocalist would be training their voice to do. There are also some side notes about the character Helios.

It's possible that I will add more information later in order to further expand upon the ideas.

Notes:

I don't own anything related to Ace Attorney.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Helios Giustizia de Illumios & the Art of Voice Manipulation

Mutaloquism = Altered Speak – Changing your tone, timber, pitch, ect. to make your voice sound different.

Occuloquism = Hidden/Secret Speak – The simple to learn skill of speaking without moving ones lips.

Magnaloquism = Great/Loud Speak – The act of amplifying ones voice. Once used by thespians in place of microphones.

Exemploquism = Copy Speak/Mimicry – A higher form of Mutaloquism where the user can imitate another person’s voice.

Tantuloquism = Far Speak/Throwing Voice – Technique in which the user can portray their voice upon distant objects.

Libeloquism = Echo Speak/Echolocation – To create a resonance that causes ones voice to echo.

Ventriloquism = Belly Speak – originally started as a combination of Tantuloquism, Mutaloquism, & Occuloquism. Modern Ventriloquism is actually a very watered down & simplified version of the original art.

Total Imperiloquism = Controlled Speak – To have absolute control over ones voice is the height of an Illumios Magician practicing in the Vocalist Branch of entertainment.

Helios, though an expert, had yet to fully master Total Imperiloquism & had been working towards it since he’d discovered his passion as a singer & musician on his mother, Selene’s, birthday while singing her the Birthday Song when he was 5. He died before achieving that goal, but was enthusiastic about being able to sing with his wife, Thalassa, & someday his newborn son, Apollo.

As it turns out, Apollo was discovered to be naturally gifted with highly developed Magnaloquism, later called his 'Chords of Steel.' At only a few months old, he'd managed to fracture glass at a distance. His father, however, had been similarly gifted with Exemploquism at the same age.

Notes:

Anyone who wishes to use the ideas conjured up by Loquisms is more than allowed to do so. However, my only stipulation is that you mention me, at the very least. Other than that, feel free to be as creative as your heart desires.
