Dean sighed trying to keep his annoyance to himself, hoping that this wouldn’t be his experience the whole time at the amusement park. He had just finished eating his corndog, and had gotten in line to ride the Cyclone; however, the ride had the longest line ever to be seen. He turned to Sam–how did he get him away from his books? No clue but he did it– who shared the same look he had, peeved.
“Sam, this is so annoying, why do the lines have to be so long?” Dean asked, visibly bothered.
“You know there are other rides, we don’t have to ride the Cyclone, at least not yet. We could wait until like 8:15,” he joked.
“Is that some kind of nerd reference I wouldn’t understand?” Dean asked.
“Yeah sorta, it’s from a musical I like,” Sam replied.
“Sam, you coulda just said yes, musicals are like the nerdiest shit,” Dean scoffed. Sam started to say something then decided not to, he was probably right. Dean looked at his younger brother, getting ready for the line to move up. Sam had an idea and pulled out his phone, downloading a charades game. Dean peered over at his phone and was interested. Sam decided on the category of horror movies and put it up to his head. He knew that he and Dean both knew scary movies, as that’s what they would watch every Friday in their 20’s, discussing how they could beat the killer. On a Friday the 13th, they would do a marathon of the firsts in movie series, Scream, Nightmare on Elm Street, Saw, Terrifier, and many more. They both really like the movies from the 80’s and 90’s, as they weren’t as scary. Sam successfully guessed 5 out of the 6 given, missing Texas Chainsaw Massacre. They went through a couple more rounds, progressively getting better until they were next in line. The ride was enjoyable, Sam isn’t the biggest fan of roller coasters, but went because of how happy it made Dean.
