The second year has just started, so that means a chance to change into another classroom, which, in short, means I won´t study with my girlfriends for a whole year. And I would be stuck with 5dess, something that wouldn´t sound right due to their proclaimed rivalry against us, so that I wouldn´t lie, I'm feeling nervous here.
So, yeah, I was trying to peek into the new class board to check if the luck was on my side, and it was! I found my name followed by the other four girls' names I was looking for, so it was a relief.
“Rena-chin, Rena-chin, we are in the same class again.” A blue-haired, short girl jumped onto my back, hugging me around my waist.
“I´m glad, Kaho-chan, but can you let me go!?” I screamed a little to self-conscious, seeing her mocking smile shining next to me like she was enjoying my reaction. This girl, one of these days, would kill me.
“Just a little bit more Rena-chin, you were the one who said that you would always forgive for being so cute.” That tone of voice, that Eyes… yeah, it was clear her intention, she just wanted to flirt publicly, knowing that it could reach into my reactions. This little demon… I will teach her.
“You two idiotic duo, hurry up. We are going to the cafeteria, and we are not planning to wait for you two.” A cold stone voice made us look at her, and a slight grin was hiding in a fake serious expression.
Next to her, a tall blonde-haired girl, laughing at the situation, was the super darling of our school, a model of a queen rose, and one of the sweetest persons ever, and a brunet angel, who has the kindest smile in the whole world and is the most amazing human being alive, were giggling softly.
“Morning Mai, Ajisai and Satsuki.” I replied happily against the small scold, being able to free myself from the short girl's show of affection.”
“Sa-chan, MaiMai, and A-chan. Morning!”
After exchanging a brief greeting, we decided to grab something to eat in the cafeteria before heading up to the school roof. These four amazing girls are part of a group called the Queentet and were considered one of the most popular groups at the school since their first year. Now, in our second year, surely even first-year students would be blinded by how shiny and glorious these girls are.
“Rena-chan, rena-chan!? You´re lost in your thoughts again!” The sweetest voice ever was calling my name while her concerned expression was just a small centimetre from my face, being able to kiss each other if we want to, but the shame was too much that both of our faces were turning red.
“Sorry, Ajisai, I was just remembering some stuff.”
“Let me guess, it was how you approached me the first day of school and stole my heart from that day on!?” an over-confident voice resounded between us, creating different facial expressions, but most of us were a little blushful about it. The only one with no effect was the owner of those words, Mai Odzuka.
Goshhhh, I would like to fight back, but it would be embarrassing since it´s right. Damn you, Mai Odzuka. Don´t say embarrassed stuff so loud…
“Mmmm well, maybe? After all that ends on us forming the quintet, after that Mai, Ajisai, and I are dating, Satsuki joins us too and finally, after all those problems Kaho-chan too… so it´s kinda the beginning where I meet my four amazing girlfriends.” – I muttered, looking to the other side, feeling the air feel heavy with shame for a moment.
So yeah, the five of us are dating each other, we had to deal with many difficulties to reach this point in the relationship, me struggling to choose Mai or Ajisai, my middle school past, the two arranged marriages of Mai, Satsuki internal conflict and her challenge, Kaho loneliness and feeling Isolated.
“Rena-chan, we had agreed not to don´t say anything so embarrassing at first thing in the morning, you did the same many times.” Ajisai scolded me with a bit of pouting that made her look adorable, her puffiest cheeks, while hiding how embarrassed she was… Gosh, I really want to kiss her right now.
“Come on Ajisai, it was me the one who tried to tease her. I wasn´t expecting a response so honest and earnest first thing in the morning.” Mai was hugging her softly, trying to laugh off the situation, but her blush extended to the tip of her ears, so it backfired perfectly, even when all of us were almost the same now.
“Don´t play dumb, Mai, we know pretty well that Renako tends to spill out most of her feelings bluntly, so how many times hasn´t that caught us already?”
“Sa-chan got a point, you cannot provoke her like that. Always ends doing something like this. I still trying to get us to it!”
By the way, this year, after all that happened, we stopped using honorifics or most of them. However, Ajisai is still calling us with the -chan in the most adorable way.
“Kaho-chan, you said that, but since then, you are the only one who is way too flirtatious in public.” Ajisai was now focusing on Kaho, who was trying to recover from my blunt response, which had left a space between her introverted and extroverted selves.
“It´s okay, A-chan, next time I can be flirtatious with you and be all lovely-dovey!”
Forget it, still being the usual Kaho that now never loses a chance to provoke us and tease us. Something that now an ashamed Ajisai could only react, screaming her name, trying to scold her before hiding her face into my shoulder from embarrassment, being consoled by Mai at my side.
The atmosphere was nice, and it was a perfect shoot to start my second year. Of course, we decided to celebrate it at Mai´s house, as it would be more private and spacious.
The new student ceremony was a little boring, but I noticed that many times, the eyes of the audience were focused on my girlfriend´s or me from the beginning of the ceremony until the end of the day. But finally, we could go to Mai´s house after school was over.
“It´s the first time being the five of us together, so please feel comfy, I will get some stuff for a movie afternoon.” Said maid, a little too shaky behind her confident self, was nervous, and it was cute. Wouldn´t blame her. I had been self-conscious, too, since the beginning.
“I will get ready some snacks, Renako go with Mai and help her.” Satsuki's steady voice resonated a little cold, confusing all of us, but when I saw Satsuki playing with her hair, I knew she was feeling self-conscious too… probably I could tease her a little…
“Let me help you with that, Satsuki-chan!”
“I will help too Sa-chan”
Too soft voice shaking exposed them too, it looked like everyone was feeling the same thing, and I couldn´t be happier about it, after all, we really love each other… gosh, their behaviour is so cute that the urge to tease them a little bit was growing up even if I was as bad as them right now…
With the memories of each one flustered in the past, gulp some saliva before getting a little courage, walking to Satsuki first and kissing her in the cheek, a little too close to the lip and repeating this with Ajisai and Kaho, who just left, frozen with the cutest blush ever.
“You three are so cute!” I muttered a little too ashamed before taking a big step to Mai, kissing her in the same way before grabbing her to drag her to the room to pick up her stuff, but at the different of the other three, this one was smiling and giving that golden retriever aura.
“Aren´t you gonna say something to me, too?” She didn´t lose her time giving me some futons to carry out and accommodate them together to cuddle during the movie.
“You too are so cute Mai! I whispered, hiding my faced into the futon, seeing that mischievously smile on her face before stealing a kiss from my lips, taking advantage of my carrying something.
“You´re the cutest Renako, even when you are turning into a female fatale.” Gosh, with these girls.
“Let's move, the girls are waiting for us!”
As soon as we returned, the excitement in the room was palpable, no longer tense. Meanwhile, Mai and I set up the space, and the other three got some drinks, chips, pop corns and even some candy. To have variety.
“How are we going to accommodate each other? Would you like the middle Renako? Mai asked a little softly, feeling how everyone was expecting my answer… I mean, lying down with four beauties that are my girlfriend, being me in the middle, sounds like a crime, a terrible crime, when my sister discovers it would declare a death penalty over me.
“It´s okay if someone else would like to take the middle, I´m okay with whatever decision you four take.” I response quickly.
A deathly silence takes over the room, as they look at each other in silence, trying to reach a mental agreement on who should be in the middle. And almost unanimously, they say it should be me today. Now the police couldn´t blame me; now the problem was who would be on each side.
“Would any mind if I´m next to Rena-chan?” The spoiled girlfriend's voice escaped from Ajisai's lips, making it impossible for anyone who refused her petition to feel how she clings to my arm with a light blush and a triumphant smile. Something that just made me leave a small kiss on her lips.
“Not Fair, Rena-chin and A-chan! I wanted a kiss too!” Kaho almost immediately jumped into us in her own childish way, wanting not to be left out. Seeing us agree at the same time, she didn´t lose her chance to kiss Ajisai, and then, me, a little more aggressively and playfully.
“Are you three done flirting? We are still figuring out how to accommodate, and we haven´t even started to discuss which movie to watch.”
“Aren´t you jealous Sa-chan? Would you like me to kiss you two? Or you want a kiss from Rena-chin?” A minor hit at Kaho's forehead and a blush on Satsuki appeared naturally, as if she was expecting to have some attention too.
“Just shut up and let's decide it,” She complained before walking into us, leaving us a kiss, one that left Ajisai deeply embarrassed and smiling.
“So that only leaves me like the only one who needs to kiss you three, right?” Mai didn´t lose the chance and did so as soon as she closed the distance with each one. “I would be next to Ajisai, so Satsuki or Kaho, you can stay at the side of Renako.” A slight grin sitting next to us makes me smile like a fool.”
“If that's the case, I would choose over Rena-chin and Sa-chan,” Kaho exclaims, a little too overexcited.”
“What a Pain, then Renako let me sit next to you.” Her cold personality made me smile, blushing a little bit when she took my hand, discreetly.”
Choosing the movie wasn´t that challenging. Kaho wants an anime movie, and I would be lying if I said I disagree with her, but in the end, it was a three against one from a book adaptation. Like that, the five of us ended all cuddled just enjoying the movie and each other's presence, even a little too clingy, but I wouldn´t complain, usually just one of their aroma smells really good, and like this I could feel all of them at the same time, making me drunk by it.
When suddenly Ajisai started to fidget a lot between Mai and me, calling our attention, she was hiding part of her face with the futon and the hug that was giving me got stronger, making it difficult to breath.
“Ajisai, is everything okay?” “Mai murmured sweetly and softly to the brunet between us, making her cling even more to me.
“Ajisai? You´re hugging me too strong, what is wrong? “I asked, knowing that even Kaho and Satsuki stopped paying attention to the movie, accommodating properly to check in on our girlfriend, too.
“Renako Onee-chan, Mai Onee-chan, hug me please!” A surprisingly familiar childish voice came out from the futon, leaving us frozen due to her words.
