"Alright, Mimi, truth or dare?", Yuli asked, reading through the card he'd just picked up.
The bunny girl pondered her choices for a good few seconds before finally speaking her mind.
"TRUTH!", she beamed excitedly before adding,
"Hit me with everything you got!"
It was a lazy Friday evening and Mimi had invited her three best friends on one of their weekly hangouts.
Right now, they all formed a circle around a small pile of cards that would foretell every player's next challenge.
Peeking at the small piece of paper from behind Yuli's shoulder, Poet turned her gaze back to Mimi, a devilish grin forming on her fair-skinned face.
The silverhead vampire followed in suit, smiling ominously as he gazed up from the card.
"Alright, guys, cut it out.", sighed Nyami, lazily sipping at her drink.
"You gonna tell us what this question is or not?"
"Alright, my dear. But you asked for it...", Yuli spoke evilly, pointing his finger at their poor unsuspecting host in an overly dramatic manner, befitting a showman such as himself.
"The question is quite simple. You only need to tell us who is it that you have your eyes set on."
Raising her brow, Mimi glanced from one friend to another, as if waiting for some kind of further instructions.
"Set my eyes on? As in who I'm looking at the moment? You and Poet, I guess."
Yuli sighed in exasperation whilst Poet facepalmed.
"No, Mim, we mean as in "who you're in love with"!", the blonde explained, staring at her airhead of a friend with a tired, unamused expression.
"Oh? Ohhhhhh!", the rabbit noted, finally registering what the question was all about.
"Well, I, uhh-", she felt her words get stuck in her throat as she fought the urge to glance at her number one feline gal pal.
"Come now. No need to be so shy.", Yuli teased, dangling the card in the air.
"Absolutely. It's so very unlike the good ol' Mimi we know and love.", Poet chimed in, clearly enjoying the look of pure terror on her friend's face.
"Yeah, Mim, it's alright.", an all too familiar voice joined in.
"We promise not to make fun of you whoever it is that you like.", Nyami said reassuringly, giving her friend a widest, most genuine smile Mimi had ever seen.
"W-w-well, you see, it's...uhh...N-N...", Mimi murmured awkwardly, face growing hotter by the second.
"Yess?", Yuli mused curiously, bringing his ears closer to the source of all this scrambled stupor.
"It's N-n-n..."
"That's it, Mim, you can do it!"
"There's no giving up now, you hear!"
The rabbit girl shook her head, feeling incredibly overwhelmed by all the anticipation and intrusiveness circling around her.
"I-ITS..."
"Go on!", the vampire chuckled darkly as he all but pressed his ear on the flushed girl's mouth.
"ITS...ITS...", unsuccessfully pressing her oversized ears shot, the lagomorph singer yelled at the top of her lungs.
"ITS NYAMIIIII!!!"
A yell so powerful that it sent Yuli crashing into the wall, next to the equally shocked angel woman.
Taking a few more heavy breaths, Mimi slowly tuned her head in her best friend's direction, scanning for any signs of disapproval.
In the place of angry or shocked expression, however, stood a large radiant grin.
'Ohmigosh, Nyami...she's', the bunny realized.
she IS SMILING
"I-I don't know what to say, I'm speechless.", Nyami murmured, tearing up.
"I never thought you'd feel the same way..."
"I-
Excuse me?", Mimi asked, convinced that her ears have just played a prank on her.
Instead of repeating her statement, however, Nyami simply pounced on her rabbit, pinning her to the ground with all her might.
"Nyami, I-", Mimi's words were cut short by the cat's warm, soft lips crashing into hers.
"I can't explain just how happy I am.", Nyami purred through half-lidded eyes upon pulling away.
"Aww, aren't you two the cutest.", Poet chirped, clapping her hands together.
"Agree, but still...
Get a room you two.", Yuli interjected, causing the other two girls to burst into laughter.
Mimi just stood there, still petrified from all the shock.
"Hey, she alright?"
Slowly, a wide, triumphant grin spread itself across her face.
SHE LOVES ME!, Mimi realized, heart pounding like a drum.
The rabbit smiled before jumping into the air, feeling as if she could take on the entire world.
"SHE LOVES MEEEE!"
