Chapter Text

Jungkook glanced at the clock, thinking a snail moved faster. He couldn't wait to be let off for the day. Even though he knew he had plenty to do, the fact was he'd most likely only go home and rest, already feeling drained of energy that he hadn't even had in the morning and it was still a half day left.

Standing up to stretch his body, he enjoyed the loosening of stiff muscles. As usual all he could do was to suck it up until he'd be able to go home. Jungkook had no interest in the work but it was a salary needed.

When Jungkook finally could leave, his stomach told him of its need to be filled, preferably with something good like tonkotsu ramen. Turning and walking down the street Jungkook's feet took him to one of his favourite Japanese ramen place about twenty minutes from work.
The delicious smell of ramen met him as he opened the door and stepped inside to a nearly deserted restaurant, except for a group of guys sitting in the corner furthest from the door. Jungkook hardly paid them any attention not interested in human interaction of any kind at the moment and sat down next to the counter, by the wall, so he could watch the worker effectively cook. It had a form of beauty, watching the skilled movements and seeing the ramen being lowered into hot, boiling water, rather distracting and relaxing. Jungkook gave his order with extra meat and settled for watching the man work.

A sudden loud outburst of voices had Jungkook instinctively look over towards the other group. They seemed to have fun, laughing and gesturing while talking, or at least one of them did as he obviously recanted a tale deemed very amusing by the rest. They were six sitting there, momentarily striking a chord of loss in Jungkook. He'd needed a job and so had had to move which left all his friends home in Busan and with only work and no real interesting coworkers Jungkook still hadn't made friends after being in Seoul for six months. He knew it was his own fault as he hadn't made the effort of trying to get closer to his coworkers as well but somehow he couldn't muster the energy and interest to do it.
These guys, however, reminded him of the time he spent with his friends back home. Being quick to suppress the feelings Jungkook's gaze wondered over to the worker who had started to deliver the food to the other table. Without intending, his gaze stuck to the guy nodding as the worker put his food in front of him. The blonde hair lending a softness to the pale hue of his skin, eyes narrow, lips a soft baby pink. Then the person looked to his side and a black head showed up, all sunshine and eyes almost hidden due to his big grin as he nudged the other while lips moved to say something Jungkook couldn't overhear. The genuine smile on the blonde's face before he shook his head laughing had Jungkook amazed. He knew deep down he was staring but his mind couldn't bring itself to actually look elsewhere.
Fortunately a sound behind the counter startled Jungkook out of his staring. Coming face to face with a face he recognized being one of the guys from the other table.

"You were staring." He bluntly told Jungkook who only blinked in response. Waving in front of his face Jungkook pulled back out of instinct.

"Ah, yeah... I was reminded of friends back home..." Jungkook trailed out, needing any excuse for being caught staring as he otherwise kept things to himself. The other nodded however as if he understood.

"So you are new to the city?" He asked curiously.

Jungkook hesitated but then mentally shrugged, it couldn't hurt to answer. "Kind of, been here for half a year now."

The guy hummed, "sucks to still have no friends."

"What? I didn't..."

"Why would you otherwise be here alone on a Friday night?" The guy asked cheekily.

"Look, I..."

"No worries, I'm sure you have your reasons. Just don't stare at my best friend's boyfriend." The guy winked before strolling back to the others, leaving Jungkook flabbergasted behind.

"What were you doing, Tae?"

"Just worry about your boyfriend instead," came the sassy reply, the guy briefly looking over and catching Jungkook's eyes before he turned his attention solely on his friends.
Jungkook concentrated on his newly arrived ramen enjoying the texture and taste of it. Closing his eyes and sighing, thinking this was perfect right now. Unfortunately the joy didn't last as long as he'd liked due to the restaurant worker getting distracted by a phone ringing and spilled water on him. After apologising and hurrying to answer the phone Jungkook went to the restroom to try and dry off. Being wet was a bit uncomfortable but the staff had promised a free meal in return so Jungkook didn't mind all that much.
As Jungkook tried to fix himself the door opened to let in a guy who seemed more like a boy, Jungkook guessed only some centimetres shorter than himself. It was the black haired, smiling boy that had sat next to the blonde only now he wore a neutral expression not even glancing at Jungkook.
Watching in his periferal vision how the other washed his hands and mouth and then fixed his hair before Jungkook glanced at himself in the mirror. The other boy were so much cuter, although seeing him up close, something told Jungkook that the other despite the fact he looked young, had core of strength beneath that happy, smiling image he had shown out there, which told Jungkook he wasn't a guy to mess with, contrary to his percieved boyish looks.

Fortunately the other left without having seemingly noticed Jungkook's scrutinization. Jungkook sighed really annoyed at himself for staring, but there was just something about them, something that captured his attention. When Jungkook came back out the other group had left and his ramen were a little too cold but he ate them anyway.

The weekend passed by while watching movies, listening to music and surfing the internet, only venturing outside after sun disappeared when the air got cooler. Jungkook could walk around for hours in the warm summer nights alternating between listening to music and his surroundings.

Swinging slowly in a small playground enjoying the silent absence of other people, the sound of footsteps caught his attention. It was a male in blue jeans which were ripped to the point Jungkook wondered how they stayed on. The white t-shirt glowing softly in the light from street lamps. As the person got closer Jungkook noticed it was the blonde guy from two days ago. Maybe Jungkook made some noise out of surprise but the other glanced up locking eyes with Jungkook before disappearing without his gait faltering. Jungkook shook his head feeling oddly out of breath. Standing and turning, the quite unmanly shriek that left him made his cheeks warm. How couldn't he have heard the blonde coming up behind him? And how did he manage to do it so fast? Jungkook's heart still beat strongly in chest as the other spoke.

"You sure do stare a lot," the blonde guy's lips pulled into a smile Jungkook wasn't so sure was friendly. Jungkook took a step back when the slightly smaller guy crossed into his personal space. A sudden loss of legs, Jungkook kneeled without even understanding what was going on. The blonde guy slid his hand into Jungkook's hair and pulled it back slowly, meeting Jungkook's wide eyes.

Jungkook figured even if the other had talked, he wouldn't have heard it anyway for the thrumming of his pulse. He couldn't even tell if he was breathing properly anymore. Then the blonde broke eye contact and leaned down, forcing Jungkook's head to the side. The tongue wetting his skin made Jungkook's eyes close. Unconsciously baring more of his neck while his own hand found its way to the blonde guy's neck. Jungkook's whole body humming with anticipation as he felt the other nibble on his neck as he sat down across Jungkook's lap, thighs flexing and tensing around Jungkook.

The blinding pain that radiated through his body from his neck made Jungkook's lungs momentarily stop functioning and he had to force himself to relax and take a deep inhalation. However it was too late to struggle, his body weak and trembling as Jungkook felt the blonde start to suck. The body's own protection numbing the pain and Jungkook's heart beat wildly, a heat spreading from his neck. No longer able to feel pain, his nipples suddenly got sensitive and his attention drew to the man's tongue against his skin together with the force of suction on his neck made the pressure rise in his trousers. Jungkook did realize how dangerous the situation was, if the man continued there would be no blood left but strangely enough he didn't really care, his eyelids getting heavier and heavier.

When the man pulled away and let go, Jungkook could only miss the warmth and the pleasure he had felt, when a sudden coldness seeped in. However, Jungkook was too tired to do anything except listen to the sound of the man standing and looking down at him.

"Thanks for the meal, cutie."

Jungkook's eyelids fluttered open for a second, the image of the blonde man staring down on him burning into his mind before his eyelids became too heavy.

There was no pain anymore, he merely needed a little... sleep.
