Exploring the mines was something that Abigail always wanted. The issue was that neither Sam or Sebastian were adventurous enough to go with her. And so, as much as she wanted to see what was going on in there, it was a dream that had to be postponed.
Until she met the farmer. At first, she didn’t think much of her, wondering how much she would stay in Pelican Town. And suddenly, she found herself going on dates with her.
Farmer knew how much Abigail wanted to explore the mines. But she waited until she was strong enough to keep both of them safe from the monsters, to invite her. When she finally thought she was ready, Abigail jumped out of her chair and embraced the farmer as tight as she could.
The day finally came, and Abigail couldn’t hold her excitement. She went straight into the mines, and waited for her girlfriend there. Time couldn’t pass fast enough, she thought.
And then she had an idea. She looked around for a bit, and decided to go first. What could go wrong? Farmer would bet there in any minute now, anyway.
So, she went through the first floors, without any issues. Slimes were annoying, but nothing that she couldn’t handle. She was even impressed by her own skills. That sword was actually doing a good job at keeping her safe.
Until she saw all those grubs and bugs. She tried to make herself small, but those monsters were so annoying. Abigail looked around, trying to find the stairs, she needed to get out of there.
“Don’t worry! I’ve got you!” Farmer said, as she began fighting the bugs.
Abigail was impressed and shocked. Farmer made it seem so easy. However, she remembered that her girlfriend did work a lot on the mines during the winter.
When things finally calmed down, Farmer returned to Abigail.
“Are you alright?”
Abigail’s eyes were shining. “Wow! That was impressive!”
Farmer just looked around, while trying to hide her blushing. She felt Abigail’s arms around her, and focused on her.
“Can we come back again soon?”
There were a lot of arguments against it, Farmer thought. But as she looked at those eyes, and the way she was holding her, how could she possibly say no?
“Yes, Abby.” And Farmer sealed that promise with a kiss.
