"Mafuyu your grades are dropping, you should focus more on your study."
"But mom...I'm tired.."
"So is that my fault?"
This was a normal conversation for Mafuyu to have with her mom, that was tiring her. She loved her mom, she really did ! But she had to admit that sometimes she wished she woulf be more understanable with her feelings...
But it was fine ! They had their friend and best friend after all ! Right ? Right..?
Well, not anymore. He couldn't keep up with them any longer, he was tired. Exhausted even.. But that's okay ! They can understand...they have to understand. She can't be with them all the time, plus they have one another ! They probably didn't notice she was gone...
why would they notice when they have much better friends ?
Mafuyu couldn't understand the point of friendship, she just couldn't understand it anymore. Why give her whole for some people that will just leave her once high school will be over ? They'll all go their separate way... and she'll be all alone again..
But that was also fine ! At least she still had Miku !
The sekai was the only place she felt accepted, accepted for who they were, who they wanted to be ! Miku was always there to welcome them ! And that was all they needed.
All they needed was Miku and none else.

As time pass, their feeling for Miku were becoming clearer, they were falling in love ! But could Miku even feel love ? She said she'd help them, righh ? If being together was what helped them, she couldn't say no right ?
"Miku !" He called out to the girl, with a smile on his face that was reserved for her, and only her. Miku smiled backw althought it didn't look geniune Mafuyu didn't mind. Sometimes he wonder how different Miku'd feeling were from hers. But would asking her that directly be disrespectful ?
"Mafuyu." Miku mumbled, observing the other curiously before making eye contact. Quickly looking away after a few seconds, uncomfortable to hold it any longer. "You've been coming here almost every day. Don't you have school to attend ?" She asked.
<<Direct, as usual..>> Mafuyu couldn't help but smile as he answerd Miku's question. "I don't have school today." Miku could tell he was lying, but he didn't push it. If Mafuyu wanted to talk to him about his problems, he would without hesitation.
Mafuyu sat down on the ground and Miku sat down next to her. Mafuyu than proceed to lay down on Miku's lap, her cheeks a faint pink as she closed her eyes.
Miku didn't know how to react to that, that was the first time Mafuyu was so...clingy ? So close to her ? Was this what they do with their friend usually ? They did say that they don't hang out with their friends anymore. Could it be because they don't hang out with their friend anymore ?
"Mafuyu-" Miku started, but soon shut her mouth when she realized how comfortable Mafuyu was. She didn't wanted to ruine this moment, after all it was rare for Mafuyu to look this...happy and calm...
"Say Miku.." Mafuyu started, opening her once closed eyes, looking at Miku as she took Miku's hand in his. A small smile was could be seen on his face. "Can I ask something ?"
Miku looked at Mafuyu, curious but confused. What could Mafuyu possibly ask her that seemed so important to them ? Miku nodded, wondering what Mafuyu wanted to ask.
"Is there a way...to stay here forever ?"

Mafuyu sat on her bed, tears rolling down her face as she stared at her now bleeding thighs, she stared blankly for a while before reaching for her nightstand where a bag of tissues was resting. She had to stop the bleeding before her mother would enter her room.
She'll probably be mad at them for relapsing, she was already mad for the fact they had stop going to school, so hearing that they had relapse would make things worse.
He would usually do something that nobody could see, like biting themselves but not hard enough for it to bleed.
Mafuyu sighed as he cleaned up the blood. He didn't have anything to desinfect the cuts or anything. They will probably be infected but he couldn't careless anymore. Mafuyu sighed once again, he's tired. Maybe he should go to sleep ? He was tired...oh so tired...
A small nap couldn't hurt... could it ?

<<Mafuyu had been here for longer than usual, that's weird.>> Miku thought, Mafuyu was laying down on her lap once more. That was basically her daily thing now. She loved to lay down on Miku's lap while she listened to everything she would say.
Miku knew something happen, she couldn't see what happens outside of the sekai, but seeing Mafuyu's expresssion she knew he wanted to ask something but was too scared to do so. Why ? She didn't know.
"Mafuyu ?" Miku asked, Mafuyu looked up to Miku, wondering why Miku was suddenly calling out her name like that. She smiled brightly, waiting for Miku to continue talking. "You're usually here for a few hours, but it feels like it's been days since you last left." Mafuyu froze for a moment before letting out a small smile.
"Don't worry about that. It's nothing you need to worry about." But Miku was worried, she was worried sick. She couldn't help it. Something was definitely wrong and she couldn't do anything about it. Miku didn't push it, she knew it would just make the matter worse.

When Mafuyu was back in the real world, he felt...empty...
He wanted Miku back, he wanted everything back. He hated leaving the sekai now, but the argument he'd have with his mom after for "trying to run away" was also starting to be tiring.
"I miss Miku..." She mumbled as she laid down on her bed. She wanted to go back to the sekai now.

They wrote everything as they entered the sekai, the letters in their hand. They sighed as they called out for Miku, she was here in a matter of seconds. But before Miku could even speak Mafuyu quickly gave her the letter before running a little far away, not wanting to see her reaction; at least not now.
Miku blinked twice before looking at the letter. She was confused, why did Mafuyu give her that ? She opened it, revealing another piece of paper but with handwriting on it this time.
Miku read it carefully, analyzing every words until the very end. She blushed, looking back at Mafuyu who was curled up in a ball. Was she afraid of the answer ? Probably, but, Miku knew the answer would be positive. She approached Mafuyu and sat down next to her. A reassuring hand on her shoulder.
"I accept." She mumbled. Mafuyu looked at her as if he was hearing things, but when he realized she wasn't he quickly hugged her. He kissed her cheek and nuzzle into her neck. Sobbing happily that he was finally able to have a response for the question that have been killing him inside.

Mafuyu was laying on Miku's chest as they were snoring softly. Meanwhile, Miku was softly playing with their hair. She had just sooth them after an argument with their mom.
"Say...Miku...you haven't answer my question." Mafuyu sleepy voice mumbled as they looked over at Miku. "Is there a way to stay in the sekai ?"
Miku blinked twice once again before thinking. Was there actually a way ? She didn't even know. She never thought about it. For her it was probably impossible.
"Not as far as I know." Miku said. Mafuyu sighed. They wanted to stay with Miku, not go back with their mother. "You'll have to go back at a moment." Miku sighed before looking at Mafuyu. "But if coming more often can help than you can."
Mafuyu smiled. He nuzzle back into Miku's neck with a soft sighed. Wanting more of the soft touch she was giving her.
"I love you Miku..." They mumbled, drifting back to sleep once again as their girlfriend was hugging them tightly against her chest.
