Long red hair, pink lips, doe eyes.
Husky, deep voice.
Pale white fingers on the fretboard of a devil red guitar. Smoke on the background. Different colors of lights rain on her.
The screams and the shouts of her name.
The crowd loves her.
MJ Lim! They shout.
I didn't even want to attend the New Students Welcome Night but my best friend Loi dragged me here. She's a junior and I'm a transferred sophomore. The idea of just staying in my apartment was really nice on a Friday night but Yves doesn't take no for an answer.
But here we are now and I'm having the time of my life. They're really good.
Loi was president of the council last year so we were standing just below the stage.
I could've sworn this MJ Lim has been looking at me most of the time.
Wait, am I imagining things?
"Loi, yung vocalist..."
"Ang angas noh? Daming pumipila diyan. Actually silang lahat, kaso red flag eh,"
I shook my head. I wanted to ask how famous they are because I don't think new students lang yung nanonood, other upperclassmen were here as well. I even saw some teachers too.
Red flag si red hair?
She's staring at me again, smiling.
The next morning I started receiving texts from her.
