“Sana wala nang pumuntang estudyante. Sana wala nang pumuntang estudyante” Wonwoo chanted earnestly as he looked at the time on his computer: 4:32 pm. He already finished all of his requests earlier and is now just waiting for his favorite time of the day.
5 pm. Ayon ang paboritong niyang oras dahil pwede na siyang magclock out. Tiningnan niya ulit ang checklist niya dahil baka may hindi pa siya nagawa pero wala na talaga, wala na siyang backlogs. He’s starting to get bored, so he just opened Facebook on his browser. “Grabe buti pa si Jennifer nakapag-tagaytay na.”
“Maine Mendoza at Alden Richards, may pang-apat na anak na?” Wonwoo silently laughed on his aisle. “Jusko kada taon na lang nabubuntis si Yaya Dub,” he shook his head and continued scrolling.

Wonwoo is starting to get annoyed with his Facebook feed. Isasara niya na sana ang tab nang makita niya ang kasunod na post nito.

Wonwoo immediately smiled when he saw the post. He was reminded of the time when he created a stan account on Twitter. There, he gained a decent amount of followers and even got himself a friend—his friend, Ming.
He suddenly missed his college days. Not the part where he studied but the part where he first discovered the world of stan twt. Naaalala niya pa noong bagong gawa pa lang ang account niya, parang nakikipag-usap siya sa pader. Isang buwan din siyang nagsisisigaw mag-isa sa account niya kaya nagulat siya nang biglang may nag-follow sa kaniya dati.
Doon niya unang nakilala si Ming. Simula noon, madalas na silang nagi-interact, at kung minsan, nag-uusap pa sila sa dms. Wonwoo was never the type to make friends easily, but Ming was really patient and made him feel comfortable every time they talked.
Their small interactions turned into everyday conversations, something that Wonwoo can’t live without. And slowly, it became a part of his daily routine—him screaming to Ming whenever Nana uploads a selca, him ranting to Ming every time his profs annoyed him, and him listening to Ming about how much he loves singing and dancing.
May mga pagkakataon pa na sumasali sila sa selca day pero dini-delete din nila palagi pagkatapos ng limang minuto. Goal kasi nila ang maging mysterious type noon.
But one day, Ming suddenly messaged him that he would leave stan twt for good because of personal reasons. He remembered Min telling him that someday, he would make sure that they would be able to meet each other. And the next day, Ming’s account was gone—it was deactivated already.
Wonwoo didn’t really want to dwell on it too much because it was just someone on Twitter. He didn’t even know his real name, and neither did Ming know the same for Wonwoo. They only knew each other as Ming and Nonu. Pero si Ming na ‘yon eh. Wonwoo really treasured the bond they had together, and he knew that Ming did too, because he felt it.
Naramdaman iyon ng puso niya.
“Huy, Wonwoo! Hindi ka pa uuwi?” Napatingin siya sa orasan nang tawagin siya ng kaniyang katrabaho. 5:10 na pala.
Napa-over naman sa reminisce.
“Ah… uuwi na rin, Han. Ingat kayo!” He replied as he shut down his computer. Sunod naman niyang inayos ang kaniyang lamesa. When he finished organizing his stuff, he finally went out of their office and clocked out. Sa bahay niya na lang itutuloy ang pagda-drama.
He sighed out in relief when he sat down in the tricycle. Marami rin kasi ang nakapila sa sakayan kaya matagal pa bago siya nakasakay.
Ang sabi niya sa bahay niya itutuloy ang pagda-drama, pero parang mapapaaga pa yata ito dahil sobrang traffic. Napa-install na tuloy siya ulit ng Twitter, na X na ngayon.
He created a new account because his old stan account had already been deactivated for a long time. Ever since Ming left stan twt, he lost interest in the app as well.
Wonwoo would be lying if he said he didn’t miss the feeling of using Twitter. He then searched for ‘Orange Caramel.’
As much as he missed stan twt, he also missed his favorite group. Sobrang na-busy kasi siya sa pag-aaral at wala na ring gaanong balita tungkol sa grupo noon kaya hindi na siya active fan.
He wasn’t surprised anymore when the posts were mostly about reminiscing about the group. Para tuloy siyang pinaparusahan kasi hindi na nga niya alam kung babalik pa ba ang Orange Caramel, pati ba naman si Ming hindi niya rin alam kung babalik pa. He was about to get even more dramatic when a post caught his attention.

“Okay, next. Mingyu Herre—“ his voice immediately got cut off when he saw the picture. He knows that face. Walang nagbago sa mukha nito. His face definitely matured, but it’s obvious that it was him.
Wonwoo didn’t want to believe it right away so even if the answer is obvious already, he still tried reading the facts.
