Tension in the air is heavy. Jamie and Kate became trapped in the next room with yet another one of Du'Met's traps inside. Erin's left out in the hallway with said psychotic man. A man she's now having a staredown with.
Erin lets out a nervous sigh. She has to think over her next move carefully. He's already gotten the best of her, she can't let it happen again.
Taking in a breath of confidence, Erin looks up at the masked man and says, "Got any 3's?"
Du'Met doesn't even check his cards as he leisurely shakes his head. Erin scoffs and takes a seventh playing card into her hands.
Du'Met looks at his own hand thinking over what he has and what Erin's previous turns held. Finally, he pulls up a five of clubs to present.
Erin shakes her head, "Nope! Go fish!"
Another card is drawn. Du'Met takes an extra second with the new card before slipping it into his hand. There's a devious glint in his eye that Erin doesn't notice.
Erin asks for any Ace's to which there was none. It was after she went go fish that a smirk spreads over Du'Met's exposed lips.
It perturbs Erin, makes her feel anxious about what her opponent's next move will be.
A gloved hand delicately pulls up the card he previously went fishing for. In between his fore and middle fingers, Du'Met expertly flicks the card over to show a 3 of hearts.
Erin's jaw drops.
"Oh my gosh!" she forks over her three of her cards. "How do you keep doing that?!"
Du'Met merely shrugs as he combines the 3's together and sets it down before the neat and tidy stacks of matching 4's, 6's, and 8's.
Erin's head jerks towards the door upon hearing screams coming from the room. It was Jamie.
Erin jumps to her feet and pounds at the door. She calls for her friends, shouting if they were okay.
Then she suddenly remembers that she had been playing cards with the guy that's been trying to kill them all night. She turns back only to find that in those five seconds Du'Met had picked up all the cards and is gone from her side of the hallway.
An impressed Erin whistles, "Where was he when mom told me to clean up my room?"
