Why?
Cassaras looked at Lennox. How he smiled.
That was his smile.
Francescs. Lennox didn't even know how similar he was to the prince's half-brother. Whenever Cassaras looked at Lennox, he saw Alessandro. Only his eyes. Lennox's eyes were an azure blue, like all Oblivions. As blue as the sea on a sunny day.
Cassaras looked away. It hurt. His brother had been dead for decades. And here was a spitting image of him, so alive.
Cassaras was so lost in thought that he didn't even notice that Thea had sat down next to him. She looked at him questioningly with her green eyes. Her gaze shifted between Cassaras and Lennox. She raised her eyebrows. "Cass? What's wrong?" she signed. She nudged Cassaras to notice her Cassaras flinched. He signed, "How long have you been here?""A few minutes. What's going on?" Thea repeated her question.
Cassaras sighed. He brushed a strand of hair from his forehead and replied, "Scorpio is similar to Francesco. Not just in character, but also in looks."
Thea remained silent. She let the prince speak. "I thought I'd never see him again. And now his likeness stands here."
