Chapter one - The End
As I looked to my right arm I quickly realised that I was hit. I thought that I escaped but they got me. My friend as well. He was bleeding, too. However mine was nothing compared to his.
"We have to get up and run", I said out of breath. "Yeah, I'm trying my f*cking best, Alin", barely standing now. I grabbed him by his arm and forced him to move. But it was too late. He was shot again. This time not in his arm and stomach. This time it was far worse. They got his head. He fell to the ground immediately.
I heard myself screaming. But that didn't change the outcome. He was dead. Eyes far open. Scared and confused. He didn't deserve to die. He had far more to give to the world than just his death.
Tears running down my face. My mouth was screaming his name but that also didn't change a thing. He was silent. Dead silent.
