Rasmorn is so annoying.
It's like he's trying to make me look stupid.
Like, Last night he stood on the edge of the camp, looking off into the sunset, holding his tooth staff close, his robes blowing in the wind. The sun light made his skin glow like molten gold.
I only noticed because I went up to tell him that it was his turn to cut onions for dinner.
He turns to me, and stares straight into my eyes and says in his big manly voice. “We shall be safe this night.”
He made me forget what I as going over there to say! and as I was trying to remember, he steps closer to me! and he asks softly, “What is it, Soot?” and touches my arm, as though to steady me!
How annoying!
And then he looks behind me and says “Ah, is stew time. I make extra onions tonight. Is healthy.”
And I just said ‘ok’ Because he still looked like he was made of molten gold, and that's all I could think to say.
So now I have onion breath!
Everything he does is so uncool! Onions for my health. that Dorky hat to keep me warm. He even has me ride on his back as an allosaur to keep me safe...
And why does he keep trying to talk to me as a dinosaur? He says he's just trying to make conversation to keep me company. I can't even understand what he's saying. That is so adorable.. I mean, embarrassing.
I'm not a kid! but he keeps looking after me.. and just.. looks at me with those gold and blue eyes, and asks me if I'm ok every time I don't say anything for 5 seconds.
ugh!
I'm perfectly fine until he like.. looks straight through me like that.
And! He offered his hand so I could climb an uneven hill safely, and bent a branch out of my way. And whispered right in my ear when he saw a really pretty bird he wanted to show me.
And it pisses me off!
And every time I get upset, he... stays calm, and doesn't take it personally.
So annoying.
Stupid Rasmorn and his stupid beautiful skin, and his stupid cool accent. And.. and. The only thing that makes his eyes light up with joy is talking about lizards and dinosaurs and dragons. What a... a nerd. A really uncool dork.
Why did I have to fall for, I mean travel with him of all people?
It's.. so... annoying.
Rasmorn is just.. he's just the worst.
I haven't been able to show him how cool I am even once.
I can't wait to be finished on this mission. And get away from him.. But he has to notice how cool I am first!
