Strangers

Summary:

Geto Suguru has known nothing more than his average life. His parents set out a perfect plan for him to have a stable business, a loving wife, and nothing to worry about. Suguru never complained at all. He quite enjoyed the idea of not having to struggle to get through life, for that's how he thought it should be; peaceful and laid back. He had all that peace too, until he found an oddly tall man hunched over his bathtub throwing up his guts.

When the two worlds combine, it turns into a havoc of emotions and ideas. When Suguru wants one thing, his white haired counterpart has arguably worse ideas. One of these times, his ridiculous thoughts and dreams will be worth it in the end.

Notes:

Jaxx here! Thank you for reading the first chapter and I do apologize for how short it is. I wrote this a while back when I was a bit new to an engaging writing style and dropped the story for a bit, but I'm back in action now! I do promise you the chapters will be a little longer after the first four or five (the ones I wrote a while back) and from then the story will go up! Thank you for your support! I hope to have you along as this story progresses!!

Chapter 1: One Night Stand?

Chapter Text

Suguru couldn’t have hated this any more than he did. Guests flooded his home, those in frilly skirts and shiny new suits didn’t amuse him in the slightest. In fact, they made him uncomfortable. But everyone dressed for their business in the appropriate fashion, so he couldn't really complain. Now if there was someone who was to walk into the estate with their rags and socks on, that would have made the boy gag. Either way, he put on a smile and greeted all those who entered.

His family decided to have a three in one event. The idea started at the dinner table, Suguru’s father brought up the fact that when his brother turned 20, in which Suguru would be 24, their father would have owned two important business industries which he would pass off to them both. In that, they’d start their journey as what their mother would like to call “right adulthood.” Therefore, they’d need wives to accompany them and start a future with. It wasn’t usual for women to marry past 22, but Suguru’s parents insisted he wait to find a bride until both him and his brother owned a company so they wouldn’t have to worry about things like expenses or mingling while work was heavy later. Then their father had a wish to hold his birthday party in honor of his sons finally reaching what he wanted to call “true manhood” since he had high expectations that they’d both find a woman to wed that night. At the same time, Suguru’s brother found it a good idea to invite other businessmen who could help them kick off opportunities. Then just to contribute to the group discussion, Suguru himself recommended businessmen with pretty daughters to get a two in one combo. To the boy, this sounded complicated and almost like a sick, complicated trick to convince people to become entangled with the Geto family business. But they were filthy rich, so they had the power to do almost anything they wished. Oh boy.

Now as he was sitting at a table with men who were no younger than 40 and their daughters who were all whispering and chattering to their friends and fathers about how they’d like to marry one of the Geto brothers, Suguru really regretted proposing any ideas. The entire night, his parents had been pushing him around to entertain young ladies who folded the second the boy flashed a smile. It was nice at first seeing how such a simple action made their night, but now every smile blended together. One girl after another, they all giggled and blushed at just the sight of the oldest son of the Geto family and it started to disappoint him. All these girls had nothing better to do with themselves other than marry rich and dress up like dolls. His mother did it too, and she was quite the woman to look up to. Even though women weren’t known for starting things on their own in these times, Suguru didn’t feel as if their only purpose should be for the males' entertainment. There were, of course, women who thought the same. Those of which he could tolerate. The rest of them repulsed him. He wanted nothing to do with flirting just for the laughs and eventually the sex. He’d rather be doing other things like learning or exploring his talents. Yet if another girl with bouncy blonde curls and a benign face batted his eyelashes at him in hopes of getting a dance, he'd only smile and take her hand for the next song.

After the last dance he had that night, Suguru had enough of this night. This was ridiculous. Everywhere he looked there was someone sneaking up on him to introduce another business proposal that included millions of dollars being traded between each party. More millions than Suguru could even count. Amongst all the people and chaos, he searched the halls of his home for some peace. Peace he surely wasn't going to find in the foyer where the event was taking place. When nobody seemed to have their eyes on him, he snuck up to his room on the second floor of the estate. There he could relieve himself of the stress he was facing.

Before he could even have another though, the boy was undressing as fast as possible. Off came the tie, which would eventually end up under his bed later, next the blazer and the belt. Just as he was working to untuck his shirt, he heard shuffling coming from his bathroom. To his knowledge, the upstairs had been blocked off from the rest of the guests. Even if it wasn’t, there was no reason for anyone to be in his personal space. Anyone who was definitely had to be up to no good. Before he approached the bathroom, he retrieved his belt and folded it to use as a weapon if needed. As Suguru eased towards the door, curious of what could possibly come from out of it, the shuffling got louder. Eventually it turned into uncomfortable groans of pain and suffering which didn't put him at any ease. When the door flung open, the intruder let out a breathy gasp as Suguru got into fighting position.
To his surprise it was no one who seemed to be of any danger. Instead, it was only a boy who seemed to be no older than he was. He sat against the bathtub which was right next to the toilet, seemingly gasping for breath. When Suguru walked in it only seemed to startle him, making him release all the breath he struggled to obtain. Suguru blinked for a few moments as he watched the white haired intruder struggle for air. Beads of sweat fell down his face as the two exchanged glances every other minute. This was starting to get weird now. As Suguru lowered his belt, the intruder started sputtering and coughing, urging him to sit up and clench his stomach. Once his coughing fit resided, it felt like an appropriate time to approach him. The boy seemed to be delirious, if anything he was out of it. His head bobbed up and down slightly and his entire body shook slightly. When the other knelt down to see his face, his eyes opened just slightly revealing a set of piercing blue orbs that stared right through Suguru’s soul. Eleven with his odd appearance, it didn't stop the thoughts running through the others head.
“Come on, hold your head up. Let me check your temperature.”

With the little strength he still had, the blue eyed white haired intruder lifted his head just slightly as instructed. As he expected, the boy was burning up. Just by feeling his forehead and under his chin it was quite clear.

“I- i.. Threw up..” The intruder managed to mutter, basically on the verge of tears. He felt like he was going to do it again, as well.

“Shh.. I know..”

Before he could finish his sentence, the intruder gagged, using the last of his might to lift himself to vomit anywhere but onto the strange, soft spoken man who had accompanied him. With his help, they managed to position him over the side of the tub since he didn't have the strength to turn to the toilet. Suguru cringed as he turned his head to not witness the sight of the other vomiting, but he knew he'd have to clean that later… then probably bathe there later. Thank god for a showerhead. The sudden pants from the boy signaled he had finished doing his business. When he was done, he barely had the strength to turn himself back around.

“Well don't lean over the tub you just vomited in, that’ll get you sicker.”

“..does it look like I can m-move..?”

“Right..”
