Chapter Text
Közi and Mana snuck off after the final performance. Their bands were all chatting amongst one another, and it wasn't too odd that the two old friends wanted to catch up in a little more privacy. They had found a quiet hallway, facing each other as they spoke.
“Look at us, both wearing skirts.” Mana laughed, poking his magic wand at the uniform Közi was wearing.
Közi laughed. “What’s wrong with what I usually wear?”
“I haven't seen you wear a long wig like this in forever..” Mana looked at him, a playful glint in his eyes as he examined the wig.
“It has been awhile hasn't it?” Közi asked. “Even yours is different. Not the usual black, and actually brushed out instead of poofy. It completes your elegant look.”
“My makeup isn't too different.” Mana pointed out, and Közi gave him a shrug.
“You're always dolled up. You even have a flowy dress. You look magical tonight, Mana!”
“Well, what do you think of my lipstick though?” Közi asked, leaning in closer to give him a good look. Mana narrowed his eyes as he looked over it.
“You've mainly worn black recently. I like the change“ he said thoughtfully, eying his lips.
Közi just grinned. “I guess we're in our signature colors tonight Mana…isn't it exciting? Our bands playing together again?” He asked.
Mana leaned against the wall. “It is. You look very pretty tonight.” He hummed.
Közi reached over, mischievously playing with the lace on his dress. “Thank you, princess.” He teased, batting his eyelashes at him. His eyes fell to his lips again. “Do you think…”
Mana rolled his eyes. “Aren't you supposed to be the bold one?” Mana teased, grabbing onto the collar of the uniform and tugging him close. “Enough…” he muttered before pressing their lips together. He kept the kiss simple, closing his eyes and leaning into him.
After only a quick moment, Közi reached down and snatched the snowflake wand out of his hand, pulling away from the kiss with a grin. “Got you, princess!” He teased and began to jog away.
Mana groaned and wobbled after him in his platforms. “Give me that back!” He exclaimed. He chased him down the hall around a corner, only to bump into him. Közi had turned around at the last second. Mana looked at him with a blank expression, still a little surprised. Közi tapped the wand against Mana's forehead. “With this, I make us two beautiful ladies.” He laughed.
“We’re acting like middle schoolers.” Mana shook his head, trying to grab the wand. Közi quickly lifted it up, holding it out of reach.
“You can only get it back if you kiss me a little more.” He claimed.
Mana rolled his eyes. “Get over here you ass.” He said, cupping his cheeks and pushing their lips together again. Közi still held onto the wand, his other hand reaching around to pull Mana closer by his waist. He loved teasing his old bandmate like this.
Mana was used to Közi’s playfulness by now. He just kept kissing him more, keeping him close to him. Slowly, Közi began to lower the hand holding the wand, and Mana snatched it back quickly. He tapped it against Közi’s chest. “Don’t go taking my things.” He scolded. “
Közi held his hands up innocently. “I won’t. Mana is scary when he’s angry.” He chuckled.
Mana shook his head, amused. “We should probably head back to the others.” He said.
Közi made a face at him. “Do we have to?”
Mana gave him a look. “Közi.”
“Can you be convinced to give this pretty lady another kiss?” He batted his eyelashes at him again.
Mana sighed. “Only if she promises to stop stealing my things.”
Közi grinned. “I promise.”
Their lips met again, this time more playful. Közi wrapped his arms around Mana, insisting on not letting them part this time. He was addicted to Mana’s lips.
The kiss grew more intense, the two only parting when they needed to breathe. Mana held onto Közi, letting him deepen the kiss. Thoughts of the concert and their bandmates waiting for them were long gone. All that filled his mind was the feeling of Közi’s embrace. He hummed into the kiss, just letting himself get lost in the moment.
“There you two are.”
Közi pulled away, pausing when he saw the way Mana’s lips were practically covered in his saliva. He turned and saw Sugiya standing a bit down the hall, staring at them. Mana cleared his throat.
Közi just grinned, looking over at the bass player. “Did they send you to come find us?” He kept his arms wrapped around Mana.
Sugiya just gave them an amused stare. “Yeah, since I'm the only one who tolerates both of you.”
Mana blushed a bit, leaning into Közi. “We were just about to come back.”
“Sure.” Sugiya shook his head. “They want more pictures. I can just tell them your makeup got messed up.” He smirked and waved them off. “Don't take too long, everyone's gonna wonder what happened to you two.”
“We'll be back soon.” Mana promised.
Közi grinned. “Maybe 10 more minutes.”
Mana elbowed him in the side. “We really should get back.”
Közi grinned, letting his eyes fall back to Mana's lips. “Hey, we made purple.”
Mana blinked at him before confirming. There were still hints of the red on Közi’s lips, but now it had smeared together with Mana's blue lipstick. He looked back up at him. “It could be a little more mixed.” He decided, wrapping his arms around Közi's neck.
“Like I said, 10 more minutes.” Közi teased.
“Fine, keep kissing me.” he teased, pulling him back in.
It ended up being 30 minutes before their bandmates saw them again.
