Elliot was getting off work in a few seconds, and he had no idea of what he was going to do. He wanted to tell C00lkidd about his feelings, but he had no clue on how he should. He knows it’s common to give someone flowers or a letter, but that kinda felt.. too cliche. He also didn’t know if C00lkidd would even want the flowers.
He wasn’t going to ask anyone for ideas on what to do either. He didn’t want them to know anything about his love life, he’s seen co-workers make that mistake. One person knows about him having a crush and she has not stopped trying to figure out who it is since.
Elliot clocked out before walking to his car. He could, perhaps, never tell C00lkidd about his feelings. He wanted to tell C00lkidd though. He wanted to go out on dates (eventually, if they could) and kiss him. He wanted to do stupid Valentine’s Day things with him, like getting them chocolate and flowers and watching a movie with them.
He was at his house by the time he was finished. Maybe he should’ve gotten her flowers, she might’ve liked it. It was too late now though. As he entered their home, he debated telling them at dinner. That seemed like the best option, it was better than just telling them randomly without any prior conversation happening.
“Hey Elliot, how was work?” C00lkidd asked, moving to look towards him from their spot on the couch. “Oh, it was alright, just another day, y’know.” Elliot said from the entrance, taking his shoes off. “That’s good.” C00lkidd said, staring at him while she spoke. “You alright? You seem nervous, is there anything you want to tell me?” She asked him after a few seconds of silence.
Elliot paused as he put his keys up. C00lkidd must’ve taken his silence as confirmation as he got up from his spot on the couch. “You know you can tell me anything, right? I won’t mind.” C00lkidd was genuine, something only Elliot would get to see from the exploiter.
Elliot moved before he could process what he was doing. He grabbed C00lkidd’s face before kissing them. He felt them tense before relaxing. He realized what he had just done and broke away, apologies spilling from his lips. C00lkidd stared at him before laughing and pulling him in for another kiss.
