Summary:

When a seemingly unassuming teenager's number comes up twice - or rather, both of her numbers come up at once - John and Harold wonder what an 18 year-old girl could already be caught up in to not only warrant two numbers, but for them both to be on the irrelevant list at the same time. What follows could not have been what they were expecting, and sees the start of a tweaked mode of operation for early Team Machine.

You are being watched.

Those were his words. The words of the man who saved my life. It was all very Terminator. That sounds stupid but it's true. The guy who saved my life - the one the papers called 'The Man in the Suit' - was brilliant at being all mysterious and dangerous-looking. At first, I preferred his... what did he call him? Partner.

The man in the glasses and the three-piece suit. He sounded like a worried wife whenever we got into trouble. Maybe he was. But he was definitely one of the most brilliant hackers I've ever had the pleasure of almost-dying with. Okay, so he was the only one of those, but he was still one of the most amazing hackers I'd ever met.
