Chapter 1: Spicy Freckles..
Song:Sexy Lady- Shaggy
Love. Love was something... Katsuki Bakugo thought was weak. Something that holds you down and hurts you. Something he doesn't want to ever experience, well, at least he thought.
"Watcha doinnnn~" A blonde male with a black streak remarked.
"None of your fucking business, Dunce face." Bakugo snarled. Dunce face, aka Denki Kaminari, aka Katsuki's biggest pain in the ass.
"Hey, man! Stop with the attitude, you know it turns me on~" Denki sticks his tongue out.
"You're disgusting." He flicked Denki in the forehead. Suddenly, a tall male with a box died red, half up, half down ponytail threw his arm around Denki.
"Hey Bakubro!" The redhead exclaimed
"Don't call me that shitty hair." The redhead puts a hand over his heart, pretending to be hurt. Shitty hair, aka Eijiro Kirishima, aka Katsuki's second pain in the ass.
"I was just wondering if Denk's asked you yet?" The redhead said while poking Denki's cheek.
"Huh?" Katsuki said, already annoyed that they were still speaking to him.
"I was wondering if you could come to my game-"
"No." Katsuki barked before the other could finish his sentence.
"Oh come onnnn we're going against our biggest rivals!" Kirishima joins in.
"Yeah! Come on, Bakugo. I'll get you that Cheeto-dipped corn dog you like~" Kirishima said.
~Fuck~, Katsuki thought to himself. He loved those. Was he really going to give up so easily for a fucking corndog?
"Tch- Fine." The two boys perked up.
"YES!" They said in sync. It's just one game. He'll just have to suffer through it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bakugo scoffed, rolling his eyes as he laced up his boots. The thought of attending Denki's game was grating, but the promise of that ridiculous cheetoh-dipped corn dog- a guilty pleasure he'd never admit to was enough to sway him. He couldn't understand why his two friends were so persistent, always trying to include him in their little group activities. It was annoying, sure, but a small part of him appreciated the unwavering effort.
As he walked toward the stadium, he replayed the conversation in his head. "None of your business, Dunce face..." he muttered, mocking his earlier words. He hated being caught off guard, especially by someone as relentlessly cheerful as Kirishima. The roar of the crowd hit him as he approached the entrance. He spotted Krishima waving enthusiastically from the stands, a goofy grin plastered across his face. Bakugo gritted his teeth, shoving the hand that wasn't holding his corn dog into his pocket. The only reason he was here in the first place was due to the five bucks Kirishima gave him to get that damn corn dog.
"You've never been to one of Denk's games before, yeah?" Katsuki sat down holding his corn dog.
"Yup, and this is the last time I'm going to one." Kirishima playfully punched his arm.
"Oh come on, we get to see guys in short shorts~" Kirishima laughed while Katsuki mentioned, "Don't let your girlfriend hear you say that,"
Kirishima remarked, "Hey! She knows I swing both ways."
To be fair, almost the whole school was queer. No one really cared who dated whom a long as they could get play. Homophobia was still around, but everyone knew not to say anything to Bakugo. Katsuki realized he liked boys a long time ago. Everyone knew it; it just took him longer to realize it. As soon as he came out, both boys and girls threw themselves at his feet. Katsuki Bakugo was extremely attractive. He's a 6'1 dirty blonde with spiky hair and a chisled jaw. His eyes were bright red and always looked pissed, which oddly made people want him more. His ears were peirced and stretched to be exact with black gauges. Running up his ears were more piercings. He was built due to all the years of playing football. He had a huge chest with large shoulders. Pointy k-9's take place in his mouth, and every time he smiles, they run across his bottom lip. He knew he was attractive.
It wasn't an easy road for Bakugo to find himself among his current friends; his fiercely independent nature and explosive temper initially kept most at arm's length. Kirishima, with his unwavering optimism and genuine admiration, was the first to chip away at Bakugo's defenses. He saw past the aggression. Slowly, others like Denki and Sero were drawn into their orbit, their easy-going personalities a stark contrast to Bakugo's intensity, yet somehow perfectly complementary.
"I don't know how she puts up with you," Katsuki smirked while Kirishima got defensive.
"Hey!" I'm hot!" Kirishima was hot, but no where near Katsuki's type. Kirishima possessed a rugged charm that radiated warmth and sincerity. His crimson hair was always tied back in a half-up, half-down style with black roots peaking through. He had piercing eyes with a scar above his right eye, which served as a subtle reminder of his unwavering courage, adding to his allure. He was about 6'3. Although he was taller than Bakugo, the blonde was stronger. Kirishima's girlfriend, on the other hand, was smoking. Mina Ashido. She was tall for a girl, about 5'10, which Kirishima worshipped. She has long pink butterfly locks that stopped just below her waist, which matched her pink lashes. She always drowned herself in gold jewelry and always smelled like strawberries. She was the one who gave Bakugo his pericings. Mina herself is covered in pericings. Her bridge, belly, and back dermals were peirced. Kirishima has been infatuated with Mina since they met in eighth grade, and they have been together ever since.
Kirishima pointed his index finger. " Speaking of my godly girlfriend, there she is now." Katsuki followed the finger to where Mina was standing with the rest of the cheerleaders.
Suddenly, the game was starting to begin. A colossal screen illuminated the players, showcasing their determined faces. In the small town of Vermont, volleyball ball wasnt just a sport; it was a cultural phenomenon, a source of immense pride and unity. The crowd roared with anticipation as Denki's face popped onto the screen. His presence on the screen electrifies the arena. Denki threw up a peace sign, and Kirishima cheered loudly. Denki's teammates looked to him for guidance, their trust evident in their eyes. The opposing team, known for its aggressive tactics and formidable defense, was their rivals. There were only two high schools located in the small town where they lived. UA High and Palmer High.
Suddenly, a door swung open, and the opposing team, the Panthers, stormed onto the court with an aura of determination. Led by their captain, a towering figure named Shoto Todoroki, they exuded confidence and a hint of arrogance. Shoto, known for his thunderous spikes and impetrable blocks, locked eyes with Denki, a silent challenge passing between them. The players show up on the screen one by one, and they are ready to unleash their storm. Kirishima started to boo, which caused Katsuki to swing his hand to the back of the redhead's back.
"Did I miss it?!" A black haired man came running, sitting on the other side of Katsuki on the bleachers. "No sticky hoe." Sticky hoe, aka Sero Henata, aka his third pain in the ass. Sticky Hoe was given to him after he fell asleep first at a sleepover and woke up with himself duct-taped to the wall. Katsuki had no clue how he didn't wake up, but he's glad he didn't, cause that moment lives in his head rent-free and always makes him die of laughter.
Suddenly, the colossal screen flickered, and the last player was shown. Sero couldn't help but exclaim, " Shit, he's hot," and that immediately made Katsuki pay attention to the screen. The boy on the screen was more than hot. He was fucking sexy. The boy's freckled face, framed by unruly curly green hair held back by a headband, revealed an eyebrow piercing. He winked playfully, sticking out a tongue that sported its own piercing. At 5'10 his lean physique was accentuated by muscular calves. Katsuki also noticed something that made him smirk. The boy had a plump ass. Izuku Midorya was the boy's name. A name that flashed big and loud on the screen. His personality was spicy and hot, just what made Katsuki internally smirk.
"Would it be bad to say that I'm hard?" Sero practically moaned out.
Katsuki was about to say something when he realized he himself was always extremely attracted to this guy.
The whistle blew, signaling the start of the game, and the tension in the arena reached its peak. Denki launched a powerful serve, sending the ball hurling towards the Panthers' side of the court. Just when it seemed the ball would hit the floor, Izuku appeared out of nowhere, diving with incredible speed and skill to block it with a resounding thud. The crowd erupted in cheers as the ball soared back towards UA's side. Izuku, still on his knees, locks eyes with Denki, UA's confident captain, and with a defiant smirk, flips him off and sticks out his tongue. Katsuki, witnessing this audacious display, couldn't help but smirk, a surge of excitement coursing through him.
"What a cocky little shit.." Katsuki whispers to himself. The game had just begun, and Izuku had just set the tone.
