Work Text:
I had a dream today. There was a beautiful man. He stood still in a forest full of life and sound, everything was alive. Such a familiar figure, perhaps it was the way he stood. A reminder of an old friend. The breeze danced, gentle, soft motions. Never harsh. The wind had a soul of its own, dancing to the rhythm of the forest. The man’s hair danced along with the tune of the wind. Like the wind, he had a soul. The leaves jealous of the freedom in his hair, but still he wouldn’t move. Not even the light peeking through the trees could give me a hint. This figure was so familiar but too far to reach.
I called out, Look at me, turn around, just once…let me see you.
Oh Neji, … Won’t you let me see you again?
