Leona Kingscholar isn’t soft. That’s not a word you use to describe someone like that. He’s rough and gritty, like sandpaper. It hurts your fingers if you try to hold on too tightly.
He’s not the kind of guy to listen to your sob story about always being second to your older brother, even after getting into the most prestigious school in Twisted Wonderland because he cares. You just started talking and he was too lazy to stop you.
He’s not the kind of guy to bring you salad when he sees you forgetting to buy yourself lunch. It came with his meal, and since you’re a rabbit, you’ll eat it and he’ll have something to show Ruggie so he’ll get off his tail about it.
He’s not the kind of guy to follow you in the halls to make sure you’ll be alright. You just happened to be in the way and moving around you would take too much effort.
He’s not the kind of guy to let you cuddle up to him when you just need to lay down and rest for a good, long while. He was already sleeping there, you just invited yourself over. At least you know where the good spots are because of him.
He’s not the kind of guy to lend you cash to go out shopping in Foothill when you mention a pretty dress in a boutique you saw. You just made a few bets with him you forgot about, and now he’s paying them back. He can admit when he’s wrong sometimes.
He’s not the kind of guy to be intimidating to anyone trying to pick a fight with you so you don’t end up with more scars than you already have. You’re just the weird one for not being afraid of him.
He’s not the kind of guy to actually care why you made him your drinking buddy when you’re only 17. He’s only stopping you because if he gets caught with you, that responsibility falls on him since he’s older.
Leona Kingscholar isn’t soft.
Whoever told you he was doesn’t know what they’re talking about.
