'Blah Blah Blah' -Letter
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In a forest where leaves are slowly falling, flowers are blooming, and animals are living in peace, a purplish portal made of mist slowly forms above the trees. This gains the attention of the wildlife that are currently near. Once the portal is completely formed, a child wearing unusual clothing is screaming as he is forcefully pushed out of the portal and falls to the ground, landing directly on his face. His screams had scared away the wildlife that were watching the said portal. This mysterious child stands up with a slight limp and looks at the sky, only to find the portal gone. He looks around, confused as to how he got to a forest when he was just in the city moments ago.
This mysterious boy is none other than Izuku Midoriya. He is the ninth holder of an immense power named One For All. These said powers had first started to appear after a glowing baby was born in Qing Qing Town, China. And ever since then, people started to get more and more of these powers. These powers are now called quirks. And his quirk has been passed on from generation to generation with the sole purpose of defeating the creator of said quirk. A villain that can give and take the quirks of others. All For One. But it seems that now, that just isn't the case. He is in an unknown area with no idea of how he got here or where he is. But as he learns more about this place and why he's here, his quirks' purpose will change drastically.
Izuku: "H-Huh? Wh-Where am I!?"
The boy said as he looked around, trying to figure out what had happened and where he was. But all he could see was trees, some bugs, and a few birds flying around. In his confusion, he decided to check his phone to see if it could tell him where he was. Only to find that its screen is completely broken. With a saddened expression on his face, he puts his phone back in his pocket. And decided to see if someone might be nearby and could help him.
Izuku: "H-Hello!? Is there anyone here?!!"
The boy yelled out, but got no reply. All he got was the chirping of the birds and silence. Not knowing what to do, he decides to walk around to try to find a way out of the forest. (Even though we mostly know it isn't that big) He saw that the sun had begun to set, and he became nervous as he didn't want to be stuck here until it became dark because he didn't know what might be out there, and he didn't want to sleep in the cold either. So he decided to walk faster so as not to waste any precious time.
After walking through the forest for what he thought was ages, he found a clearing. He looked around only to find a few small and somewhat medium-sized boulders and one boulder that was 3 times his own size stuck in the ground.
Izuku decided to try to climb up the largest one so he could try to see above the trees, but once he reached the top, before he could even stand up on it, the boulder started to rumble and move, making him lose his balance and fall to the ground. He stood up, thinking that it might've just been an earthquake, but once he looked up, he found that the boulder had made some of the smaller and medium-sized boulders move to create limbs for itself.
Izuku looked at the living boulder with a face of shock at the sudden appearance of the giant when it was just a boulder a moment ago. And it seems that this giant is looking back somehow, as Izuku noticed it has no eyes. The giant then reels one of its arms back to be ready for an attack. Izuku then activates 5% Full Cowl of One For All and jumps out of the way of the giant's attack. Once the giant's arm hits the ground, there's a crater the size of its fist left as it pulls its arm back.
Izuku: "C-Could we talk this out!?"
But the giant seemed not to understand the boy as it continued to try to squish him with its fist. Izuku noticed this and decided to try to attack the giant. He jumped towards the monster and punched its right arm with his right fist, breaking the monster's arm to pieces. But the boy's relief was short-lived as the giant slammed its fist into the ground, making some small rocks come to life to make mini versions of the giant.
Izuku: "Oh crap."
Izuku knew that he was screwed after the giant made mini versions of itself. Once he landed on the ground, he quickly looked around at his surroundings so as not to get attacked, but the giant somehow regenerated its limb within his confusion. While Izuku wasn't looking, the giant reeled its arm back and detached it, throwing it at Izuku. Izuku noticed the large projectile and wanted to attack it so as not to take any damage, but he noticed it too late, so his only choice was to cover himself, hoping not to take a lot of damage, but the thrown boulder was too strong for him and made him get thrown off the ground and fly through two trees.
As the boy began to lose his consciousness, the giant began to make its way towards him. But just as it was only a meter away, Izuku lifted his arm to make a final attack, but he then heard the sound of stone breaking, and the main body fell directly in front of him. As Izuku went unconscious, the last thing he saw was a hooded figure standing on the giant's body with an axe over his shoulder.
2 Days Later
Izuku woke up in a strange bed he didn't recognize. He looked at himself and saw that his hero costume had large tears around where he remembered being hit. He also noticed that he had bandages covering his stomach and mostly his head. He then looked around to find that he was in a log cabin. He pushes himself up so he can get out of bed, and once he steps outside, he sees an Old Man sitting upon a log and cooking something in a big round pot sitting above an open flame.
???: "Oho, I see you're awake. Come and sit, young man; your wounds should be mostly healed by now."
Hearing this, Izuku feels as if he can trust the old man. He then sits on the log that's on the other side of the pot. Izuku looks towards the Old Man and speaks.
Izuku: "Um...t-thank you for saving me from that monster. I-If it weren't for you, I'd probably be dead by now."
???: "Oho, you're very welcome, young man. Though I must ask, how did you get here? I'm the only person living in the great plateau."
Izuku wanted to reply to the Old Man's question, but he couldn't answer as he didn't remember how he got here. He then starts to question how he even got here in the first place.
Izuku: (Wait...what was I doing there??)
As Izuku tried to remember, his head suddenly started to hurt, and all of the memories came rushing back to him.
Izuku: "Ack!" (All For One, Kacchan, All Might, Kamino!! I remember now! Todoroki, Iida, Kirishima, Yaoyorozu, and I went to rescue Kacchan, but he wasn't at the warehouse! Then the heroes arrived and captured all of the Nomus, but then HE came. All Might fought him, and we rescued Kacchan, but I fell before we could land, and HE forced Kurogiri to teleport the league and me away, and I landed in that forest.)
???: "Are you alright, young man? If you're still in pain, you can go lie back down if you need to, after all, it's only been two days since I found you fighting that stone talus."
Izuku: (Stone Talus?) "Y-Yeah, I'll rest up a bit more. Thank you for saving me, Mr...Mr...um... What's your name?"
???: "Oho, I'm just an old man, but you can call me Rho, young man. Now go and rest up."
Izuku: "Okay, Mr. Rho, I'll see you later."
Izuku then went back into the log cabin and lay back onto the bed, tucking himself in to sleep for the day.
The Next Day
Izuku woke up to the feeling of being refreshed, but uncomfortable due to his still bruised wounds. But instead of being accompanied by the Old Man, he's completely alone. Izuku got out of bed to go and see if he was there like yesterday, but he wasn't, so he went back inside and saw a letter lying on the table. He picked it up and read it aloud to himself.
'Why hello there, young man, if you're reading this, then I am most likely out hunting animals to make us some food.'
-Rho
Izuku then felt slightly saddened about this since he was just taking it easy while Rho was out there working his best to try and find food. Izuku wanted to leave and go to help the old man, but he then realized something.
Izuku: (How am I going to help him with hunting if I don't even know where he is? And how would I be able to hunt? I've never been hunting before. Plus, these injuries make it hard to breathe...)
Izuku didn't want to be a burden, but the logic outweighed his emotions at the moment, so he just decided to lightly work out to take his mind off things for a bit.
As time went on, Izuku did some light work outs for a few hours, trying to figure out why he was teleported into the forest by Kurogiri's portal. As he was working out, Izuku noticed something glimmering out of the corner of his eye. He decided to go check it out and found a short sword. Curiously, he picked it up to examine it. The handle had a leather strap tied around it, and it looked somewhat old, but Izuku decided that it was good enough and began to swing it, deciding it would be a good workout on his arms, he then began imagining himself fighting against the same monster he had fought three days ago. His moves were clumsy and mostly terrible, but he was determined. It hurt to breathe though. A lot.
Outside the cabin, Rho had a dead boar slung around his shoulder. As he arrived, he then placed the boar onto the ground next to the pot and looked inside the cabin, only to find Izuku training with a sword. Rho was surprised that he didn't have any fatigue after yesterday, but what Rho found the most entertaining was seeing him try to use the short sword. As Rho continued to watch for a few more minutes, he noticed how Izuku had absolutely no experience with a sword, from how badly he was at swinging it especially since he looked like he was in a large amount of pain. Rho then entered the cabin with a knock, which startled Izuku and caused him to drop his blade.
Rho: "Oho! Good morning, young man!"
Izuku: "A-Ah! Good morning, Mr. Rho!" (Oh, All Might, please tell me he didn't see that.)
Rho: "Say, young man, are you sure you should be swinging around such an old blade with your injuries?"
Izuku: "Oh, U-Uh, s-sorry. I was doing s-some light work outs and saw it, so I f-figured it might be good training..."
Rho: "Hm, well then, Young man, would you perchance be interested in learning the arts of swordsmanship?"
Izuku: "Um, s-swordsmanship? I-I um...don't know, m-maybe?"
Rho: "This is your decision, so don't feel pressured into this, I am merely an old man wanting to pass his wisdom onto the younger generation."
Izuku: (Hm, well, it's not like I have much to do here anyway, so I don't see why not...) "A-Ah, alright, Mr. Rho. I-I think I'll take you up on that offer. P-Please teach me the ways of a sword!"
Izuku said as he bowed to Rho.
Rho: "Oho, young man, you don't need to bow. I'm doing this out of my own volition. Now, let us go outside so we can begin your training."
Izuku went outside along with Rho, but before they could start training, both of their stomachs growled loudly. A short silence followed before they both started to chuckle. Afterwards, Rho suggested that they both eat breakfast before they start.
-TIME SKIP-
It's been a month since Rho started training Izuku to use a sword. And due to Izuku's amazing analytical abilities and his quick adaptability to different situations, he learned quite quickly how to wield a sword. Not only that, but Rho had taught him how to use a bow properly and how to hunt correctly, much to Izuku's request, so that he won't be a burden, and so he can also repay Rho for taking care of him so much.
The first day of the next month came, and the two had woken up early in the morning to prepare themselves for more training to help Izuku improve his swordsmanship. After around two hours of training, they both took a break inside a small cave carved into the side of a path, which had already had a campfire ready for them to cook the fish they caught that were from the large pond next to them. While the two waited for the fish to finish cooking, Izuku decided to ask Rho a question that had been on his mind for a while, but he decided to keep to himself until they both got a bit closer.
Izuku: "Um, Mr. Rho, if you don't mind...may I ask you a question?"
Rho: "Oh? I don't have a problem with you asking me something, so go on right ahead, young man."
Izuku: "You said that there are villages off the great plateau...so why haven't you tried to leave? Is there a reason for that?"
Rho: "Ah, I see...while you are right about there being villages off of the great plateau, I continue to stay here for a reason. I am waiting for someone to arrive, and until they arrive, I won't be able to leave this place. That is all you need to know at the moment, but I have a feeling that time will soon come."
Izuku stayed silent after hearing Rho say this. He couldn't help but wonder who he could be waiting for. But when he looked to his left, he saw a large castle with a red and black mist surrounding it. Izuku could feel the evil radiating off of it from here. He then remembers the tales of a Princess, her Knight, and the four riders of the Divine Beasts that had all failed to defeat the once dormant Calamity Ganon. Once Izuku had heard that tale, he wanted to go straight to the castle himself and defeat the Villain, but he knew that he wasn't ready. He then recalled that there was a survivor of the party that tried to defeat Calamity Ganon, the Princess's appointed Knight. Izuku continued to piece things together and found out that Rho was waiting for the Knight. He was confused as to how this was possible since the story was made and told 100 years ago, so he figured that the Knight was most likely long gone by now. Izuku then stood up and went outside the cave. He went upwards, following the path, until he sat atop a tall cliff.
Izuku: "It really is a beautiful place..."
Izuku said as he continued to look at the world around him from atop the cliff. But the moment he saw the castle again, and his attention went directly to it, he could still feel the malice radiating from it.
Izuku: (If...If that Knight person really does arrive...and he gives it all he's got, maybe he can defeat the Villain, and I can help out! Yeah! I'll give it all I got to help defeat this Villain!!)
