Today was a very happy day for the villagers of the LuckyCat shopping district. Because it was neither hot nor cold outside and a Saturday!
Gema, floating on the kotatsu, watched TV. Or terebi, how you would say in Japanese. He was watching a baking show. They were making buttercake.
"Yasushi can you make this for me gema?" Gema asked.
"What?" Yasushi looked up from a toybox because he was looking for a broken stuffed toy to repair. They were in an economical crisis so he had to be sparse with materials. "What did you say?"
Gema turned 360 degrees. "I said can you make this for me gema!!"
"Oh no ask the Ankoro couple because I can't bake" Yasushi muttered and then found something in the box so he yanked it up and squeaked like a little girl "Puchiko-chan will lololove this!"
Gema turned the TV off. Yasushi was 24!!! He should get a grip. Or even better, a girlfriend. Gema was feeling like he was the only sane person in this god damn household. "And I'm going to lololose my mind gema." He sighed and then flied into his and Dejiko's room. The ten year old girl was still lying in her bed but she was reading a book. Dejiko?! Reading a book?! Something was fishy.
"Hey Gema I didn't see you nyo!" Dejiko grinned at him and hid the book under her blanket. Gema already frowned and was about to fly to her to yank her blanket away but that would be sexual harassment so he didn't do it.
"Dejiko, I'm bored gema. Do you want to go somewhere gema?" Gema asked her instead.
Dejiko looked at him and then to the ceiling. "No, I'm busy today nyo. Kiyoshi and I wanted to help Yasushi at the store and then I will play with Mike and Rinna nyo." Why would Dejiko want to HELP out voluntarily?!
Gema was now sad. Maybe he was destined to have no friends. No of course he had them but he was not feeling well. "Okay gema. I'm leaving gema." He told her as he left.
When he was about to leave the building he yelled "I'm leaving gema" but neither Yasushi nor Kiyoshi who was actually there the whole time eating cereal and starting to cry when Gema turned the TV off heard him. Gema felt invisible. Because Gema was invisible. To them. To anyone.
Gema flied around the town. It was Saturday so nobody went to school except for very studious people but Gema didn't know any. He did see Usada, no, RabiEnRose, stare through the store window. "Ehehe, Kiyoshi-kun~" was all she giggled.
"STOP IT YOU STALKER GEMA!" Gema yelled at her. RabiEnRose then jumped up like toast when it came from the toaster and ran away. "If she only looked for real men gema..."
And then Gema took a look around. The only thing there was this ball you'd see in wild west films when nobody is there so he took it and yanked it away yelling "Mekara BEAMU!!!" but then he was on the verge of tears so he tried to distract himself and decided to look for anyone.
In the panda spaceship where Piyoko and the others were living, the door opened right when Gema passed it, so he stopped and hid behind a bush. Coo and the fat beatles guy got out.
"So to sum it up you're autistic and morbidly obese." Coo handed him out a piece of paper. "That'll be 670 Yen!" Gema felt sorry.
"But I only have 690" The fat beatles guy, Paul was his name, got his wallet and handed Coo 630 Yen. Coo took them anyway and then went back home and shut the door.
"I'm artistic and a beast~ yay~" Paul cheered, passing Gema and not noticing him at all. Gema no longer felt sorry for Paul and thought maybe he can let his sorrow out by racing.
"Three, two, one... GEMAAA!" He flew across the district but accidentally broke the window of the Ankoro bakery.
"Gema, what have you done?!" Gramps called out when he found him on the floor, so he picked him up. "Are you okay?!"
"I'm f-fine gema..." Gema was starting to cry again, but not because of the pain but because Gramps cared about him.
"Hey the cake is done myu" A voice then called.
"Coming!" Gramps placed Gema back on the floor and stroked his head for a moment, then he went back to the kitchen. Damn Rinna.
Wait didn't Dejiko want to play with Rinna? Or maybe later. Gema found Puchiko stand next to him. "Puchiko what are you doing gema?"
"Pui nyu" Puchiko raised her hand. "We are making a big order on-"
"PUCHIKO that's a top secret only people from the Ankoro family can be involved in!" Granny interrupted her. "I'm sorry Gema dear. Oh and don't worry about the window, we were going to redo them anyway!"
Gema nodded. Sighh... What a shitty neighborhood, he thought.
Then he went to the beach in hopes anyone would be there but no it wasn't hot enough for beach weather yet. Not even Aqua was anywhere to be seen. Mike and her boat passed by but she didn't notice Gema at all. Why would she? He didn't wave or anything. Yurei disappeared too. "I hate my life gema."
With these words Gema fell asleep in the sand. He dreamed that he went to McDonald's to order a sad meal and the cashier laughed at him. And when he woke up he started to cry: "GEMAAAAAAAA!" He cried so loud but nobody came to him. "What did I do to deserve this gema?!"
Wait, the sky was orange already! Super Omochan definitely closed already and maybe Dejiko was done playing with Mike and Rinna as well.
"I'm home gema!!!" Gema yelled. Yasushi and Kiyoshi were both resting their heads on the kotatsu while sleeping. So Gema quietly went to his room. Dejiko was already in bed?
"I haven't done nothing but read yaoi all day nyo!" She happily said to herself. That's when she saw Gema at the door looking at her as if she died. "Ge-Gema!"
Gema only said monotony: "Don’t call me, don’t come by my house. We’re DONE gema!"
"I don't care nyo" Dejiko then replied with her kissy mouth look and read yaoi again.
Gema fumed. He turned around. "This time I'm really gonna do it gema" was all he whispered.
"What nyo? Nyo! Come the fuck back here nyo!" In an instant, the Dejiko got dressed in her maid dress and cute bells to run after Gema but he was already outside. "Yassan, Kyossan, I need HELP nyo!"
"Is it because Gema flew away?" Kiyoshi asked her half asleep.
"I- I'm bells deep in shit nyo!" Dejiko explained and fighting her tears. "Gema asked if I want to hang out but I lied I'm busy when I did nothing all day nyo!"
"Oh well that's on you then." Yasushi said.
Dejiko knew the only purpose of him and his brother were so that she wasn't homeless so she said nothing anymore and followed Gema. "Gema! Gema! Gema! Nyo!" She yelled on repeat. "Don't do it nyo!"
"Suicide is never the option nyo!"
The words echoed through the area. Until they arrived at Gema's, who was about to...
... Bite into a hamburger!
"What the fuck is a sewer slide gema?"
Dejiko was livid. "Forget it nyo!" She yelled and then went back home. Damn Gema. Damn Dejiko.
