Ever since I was a young boy, I have instinctively known what Pokémon have needed or wanted. So I have helped any Pokémon I saw that needed help. When I was old enough for school, I started with medical school, when I got certified enough to start working in a clinic I did. I hurt me and made me sick to see the Pokémon that were brought in, that were obviously being abused.
No one listened to or followed medical lectures about not training so hard. After only being able to call the police on the abusers…I got tired, I felt like I should be doing more, so I switched gears, and was fast tracked to the police academy.
I am Detective Jack Ofall Trades, member of the mistreatment of Pokémon division of the police force. I specialize in undercover work, this is because I do any job my Pokémon want to do, whatever their dream is, I do my best to help them achieve it.
My entire Pokémon team is made up of abused, neglected or abandoned Pokémon. I help them heal mentally, physical and spiritually. I always make sure that my Pokémon know they will be heard and listened to when they speak. Which means, if some want to battle in gyms, I will put on my trainer gear, if they want to be in a contest, I will be the best coordinator I can be. If some want to work in a clinic, I dust off my certificates and head to a clinic. If they want to go digging in a mine, I will put on a hard hat… you get the idea. This makes me and my team the best at discovering people abusing their Pokémon.
I found a Mimikyu with its costume all ripped up, I hugged them gentle and said, “I think you are adorable as you are, but if you want, I can fix this one or make you a new one.” That is how I got a Mimikyu on my team…I help many of the lost souls Pokémon find friends and homes, sometimes with me and sometimes with others, but I will always comfort any Pokémon that needs or wants to be comforted.
I have met Ash and his friend many times throughout their travels and mine. I respect them. They are a good group of kids. They do what they can to protect Pokémon and have even helped me catch abusers. They are kids after my own heart. They have also made me aware of the stigma against fire type Pokémon, I have spoken more to people about it now.
I hope that Ash kept my card, it was when he tried a contest just because his Pokémon wanted to try. I gave him my card and said, “when you have achieved your dream, the police force has a place for you.” I hope to see them again.
