Chapter Text
Minho is sitting at a lunch table with Q and Covey, slowly eating his bibimbap, when Kitty stands up and walks away to leave the room, having finished before them. He notices people laughing and pointing at her as she walks away, and he leans towards Q.
"Why are they laughing at Kitty?" He asks, peering closer at her. She's wearing sweatpants and a bright yellow cropped shirt, and he almost hates himself for noticing the way it hugs her curves and flatters her shape, and then he sees it. There, on her bright white sweatpants, a red stain. Minho freezes in his seat for a second, not sure how to handle this. His mother, Dami, always told him that if he sees a woman with a period stain, to help her however he can.
Minho practically sprints to Covey, wrapping his arms around her waist from behind, unnecessarily burying his face in her delicious smelling hair.
She tries to pull away, "Minho, what are you-"
"Just go with it. You started your period and it leaked through your sweatpants."
She gasps. "What? No, this can't be happening."
"Stay still," He says. "I'm going to take off my jacket and wrap it around your waist. Then we are going to walk back to your dorm so you can get what you need, along with new pants." Covey nods jerkily, and Minho slowly removes his hands from her and unties his jacket, tying it around her instead.
They start walking out of the cafeteria, and he settles his hand on the small of Covey's back. She leans into him, eyes downcast and without their usual twinkle. "You know, you don't have to go with me."
"Shut up, Covey. I'm not leaving you alone." A small smile lifts the corners of her mouth.
When we're almost out of the cafeteria, I see a small group of guys at a table covering their mouths and pointing. I stop short. "What's your problem? Why are you laughing at us?"
"Did you see her? The red stain? What a loser!"
Minho grabs the boy by his collar. "Never, ever speak about Kitty like that again, or you'll have me to deal with."
"Oh yeah?" The boy tries to sound tough. "What are you going to do about it?"
He leans in close so that Covey doesn't hear. "Do you know who I am? I am Moon Minho, and I have the resources to find out everything about you, and then destroy you. Do not mess with me, saekki, or you will regret it." He releases the boy's shirt, whose name now comes back to him. Kang Ji-hoon. Ji-hoon almost falls out of his seat with the force with which Minho let go. He would remember the name and have his lawyer dig things up anyway, just for fun. And leverage.
He turns back to Covey, unconsciously tucking her hair behind her ear. "Let's go." She nods, biting her lip slightly. They walk the rest of the way our of the cafeteria.
