Shen Qingqiu walks down the path he and his Qige once walked down together when they both were still street rats, the trees around him were as beautiful as he remembered them being but instead of that fine green he always saw when he was younger, he saw how the leafs were starting to turn a nice orange brown color.
The seasons have changed a lot since he had been locked in the water prison, that place was definitely gonna be the source of his nightmares for now on. Now that he thought about the water prison, that was all he could think about. The last few weeks there felt... Different, it all felt like a fever dream if we he was being real. That beast gave him back his limbs and his eye and tongue, and even kicked him out! Everything about the beasts actions screamed that this was a trap, a dream!
But Shen qingqiu couldn't sense any traps or any proof of this being a dream, this left Shen qingqiu with a feeling that something was terribly wrong. Shen qingqiu kept his guard up, just to make sure that if something happened he would be ready for it.
shen qingqiu walked a bit faster as he wondered why the air felt thick and heavy, he it was getting harder and harder to breathe but for some reason Shen qingqiu didn't turn to walk another way, he felt that if he actually went through with that he would end up dead. It got to the point taking small steps felt like he was falling though the dirt, he felt like this whole thing was a dreamscape but it felt too real.. Shen qingqiu wondered if he had turned blind from traps from being in the water prison for so long.
Surprisingly, Shen qingqiu managed to walk through the whole path without anymore trouble than the air. This caused questions beyond questions, why did he feel so blind again? He had turned a bit paranoid, looking around for anything that was out of the ordinary. None. Nothing. Not even a single missing shadow, it was all normal.. This caused Shen qingqiu to furrow his eyebrows and narrow his eyes, what exactly was he missing?
As Shen Qingqiu pondered what he could be missing he realized that just standing there in the open left him almost as vulnerable as a baby bird out of the nest, this made him keep walking. Shen Qingqiu kept looking at his sides and behind him, waiting to see even a tiny glimpse of the beast, or even something that would only appear in a dreamscape, but there was nothing still.
Shen Qingqiu kept walking untill he finally caught sight of what he wanted, it was the beast. Shen Qingqiu immediately tensed up as he looked straight at the demon's glare, that beast seemed mad, angry even. But why? It's not like Shen Qingqiu escaped, he was let go! So why, why did that beast look at him with such an angry glare.
Shen Qingqiu snapped back to reality once he heard the beasts voice.
"Shizun." His voice sounded just like he looked, angry, but had a smile on his face. This made Shen Qingqiu's legs wobble a bit, before he calmed down.
"I'm not your shizun." Shen Qingqiu retorted quickly.
"How did you escape, Shizun. How- No, who gave you your limbs back." Luo binghe quickly questions in cold Manor with that same eirey smile.
Shen Qingqiu looked at him with confusion and annoyance.
"What do you mean who? It was you, was it not?" Shen Qingqiu covered the lower half of his face with a non-existent fan.
"Who else could do such a thing?" Shen Qingqiu made his annoyance known, has this beast lost his memory? Or does he just want another excuse to torture him more.
Just as Luo Binghe opened his mouth to snap back, he freezes. This made Shen Qingqiu raise an eyebrow in confusion, that is, until he felt something hit him on the back of the head. The last thing he saw before passing out was Luo Binghe running towards him with a panicked look.
