Freshman year: 1992
Billy sits in Algebra. He doodles in his notebook as the teacher talks. He looks up at Stu, who sits across from him. Stu makes eye contact with him and smiles. Billy's face heats up and he looks back down in his notebook. He realizes he's been drawing Stu. He shuts his notebook as the bell rings. Stu yaps about his mom.
His mom makes him dress all semi formal and how much it annoys him. He walks with Billy to his locker as Billy opens it. Billy looks at him.
"I'm still going to yours, right?" Billy asks.
Stu nods. "Yeah, ma and Pa won't be home until 6. So we'll have the house to ourselves for 3 whole hours baby!"
Billy cracks a smile. "Sweet."
They go to Stu's locker and then walk to his house. It takes a while to get there, but it's a workout. Stu listens to Billy yap about something. Stu smiles and listens. He blushes hard as they enter his house and Stu leads Billy to his room.
Billy and Stu sit on the floor together. They aren't talking, but the silence is comforting.
"Bills?" Stu asks, looking at the shorter boy.
"Hm?" Billy looks at Stu, looking into his blue eyes.
"Have you kissed before?" Stu asks.
Billy shakes his head no.
"What if we practice?" Stu asks.
Billy widens his eyes. "What-"
"Cause Tatum, like said, that girls, like her and Sidney practice kissing each other, so, like, they're good kissers!" Stu lies. He just wants to kiss Billy.
Billy thinks. "Sure."
Stu crawls closer to Billy and kisses him. Billy kisses back, they're both shit. But yet they love it. The two of them pull away, the two of them sit back on the floor and look away, furiously blushing.
Billy looks at Stu and inches his hand closer to Stu's. Stu pushes his hand towards Billy, and faces him. They both smile and make eyes at each other.
Billy smiles, and Stu has a flustered smile.
"Again?"
"Again."
They get closer again and kiss.
