Gabby, Pandy, Catrat, and DJ Catnip were all just chilling in the Music Room --- playing with the music instruments and talking about sorts of things to fill out their boredom,
" -- Oh, don't get me started: My Kittyfish are going WILD with the splashings lately: As if they've never been fed for ages! " Catrat yapped to DJ (his loyal listener, definitely) while Gabby and Pandy were trying to find instruments to get some entertainment.
" We already tried the drum, but I'm still bored! " Pandy complained -- Gabby putted her hand onto his shoulder, "It's okay, Pandy. Let's try something else instead --- Ooh, maybe we can play the guitar over here! " Gabby picked out 2 guitars and gave one to Pandy,
As Gabby was about to strum a tune---
Flick... Flick...
" Uhm, what-- " Catrat didn't get to finish before all of the sudden,
The power went off: even in Gabby's room.
" Ahh-- I can't see anything! " Pandy yelled, blindly navigating himself and accidentally touching Gabby's face. " Pandy!-- " Gabby puts her hands onto Pandy's and puts it down. " Sorry, Gabby. I just don't know where i am now!" Pandy replied.
" Don't worry, I got it! " DJ Catnip used a little force in his body to glow his limbs up in the dark. The light from his body was just enough to brighten the room,
Catrat sighed in relief and glanced at DJ, " Luckily Catnip's here: I would've suffocated from the dark... "
" Is everyone okay?! " a panicked voice came in from the outside: it was Mercat's. The four opened the window to take a look,
" We're alright, Mercat. No need to worry! " Gabby yelled and reassured Mercat from the Music Room, as more Gabby Cats joined and chattered through the window,
" Gabby, what happened?! Why's the power off--- I can't access the Cat-A-Vator either! " worried Marty from the Party Room: the panicked chatters grew louder,
" Calm down, everyone --- It's just a power outage; I've heard from my parents that the electricity would shut down for a little while here. The lights might not be back... yet: but I can assure all of you that it'd be back soon! " Gabby explained as the chatters from the other panicked Gabby Cats stopped.
After a short moment of silence, everyone started to mind their businesses once more: going back in their respective rooms (with their temporary light sources, of course) and finding ways to have fun in the dark.
As for the four in the Music Room, DJ thought of an idea to entertain and fill out some free time before the power returns to the dollhouse,
" Hey, why don't we all compose a song dedicated to this power outage experience? " DJ suggested, as he closed the windows shut and gestured to the guitar. Gabby, Pandy, and Catrat all nodded,
" Cat-tastic idea, DJ! " Gabby complimented DJ's idea, " Yeah, we could totally sing along to it while we wait for the power to go back on! " Pandy agreed excitedly --- grabbing the guitar DJ was holding,
Catrat nodded along, " Well, that idea doesn't sound too bad, "
" Aw, yeah! Come on now, kitty-cats: let's compose this quick so we could all sing along to it! " DJ announced, and the three agreed: and now, the four began to compose the song manually (well, because the power's out) --- they played around with different instruments to match up the song's intended vibe and helped out with the lyrics' rhymes. All done in the temporary darkness!
