It was the day he was waiting the most. Finally, the last book of his favorite fantasy series was being released!
After snatching one of the last books available, Sebastian was already planning the rest of his evening, which consisted of a nice pizza and enjoying how the story ends. He was so ready to know the faith of several characters of the novel.
Until he saw Farmer crying on a nearby bench, while holding the book that he had just bought.
He took a deep sigh, he couldn’t let her bow her eyes out.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” Sebastian asked, as he sat down next to her.
“X dies at the end! Can you believe it?!” The Farmer said, as she sobbed and try to calm herself.
Sebastian hugged her tightly, trying to comfort her.
“It’s gonna be alright…” Until his mind finally caught up with what the Farmer just revealed.
“What do you mean X dies in the end?”
But the Farmer was such a mess, that when she tried to talk, it was completely unintelligible.
“Wanna go and grab some pizza with me?” Sebastian surprised himself with that question, but maybe it would be a great time for both of them.
Farmer looked at him for the longest time, before nodding.
And so, the relationship between Sebastian and the Farmer start to blossom, thanks to their shared love of a very renown fantasy book series.
