Work Text:
One day Feferi was sitting in her underwater castle, a little annoyed. Nobody had come to visit her today. Usually even Eridan would visit, but he hadn’t came yet. She did understand why, since everyone wasn’t the same higher blood underwater species as her. Actually alongside her only Eridan was. She still wished someone would come visit one day. Even if it wasn’t always possible. Despite everything she decided, that she’d go out to the surface to look for someone to talk to. It was very lonely in the castle.
Soon Feferi was on the surface again. She started walking towards the forest hoping to find someone to hang out with for a while. It was raining outside, but she didn’t mind of course. She walked through the forest for a while before she saw someone in the distance. She sped up her pace in excitement, wanting to get to the other person as soon as possible. Soon she had reached her destination. She was now standing in front of a troll she knew, Terezi.
Feferi greeted Terezi, who didn’t even flinch, despite her blindness. Terezi’s sense of smell was so good she probably smelled Feferi from a kilometer away.
“Hey there Terezi! What are you doing out here in the rain?” Feferi asked.
“Looking for injustice, of course! Have you seen any recently? Since I can’t really sense them out myself.” Terezi stated and leaned on her white stick with a red dragon accessory decorating the top of it.
“I don’t think I have!” Feferi replied and giggled. “I’ve been in my castle the whole week. I’ve been so lonely. Even Eridan hasn’t visited me! Have you happened to see him recently?” Feferi asked.
“Well, I haven’t really ‘seen’ anyone in quite a while. But I know what you mean. No, I haven’t seen him recently.” Terezi replied.
“Alright. Hmm, I hope he’s okay…he hasn’t been answering my pesterlogs…” Feferi said and sighed
“Oh, don’t worry about him. He probably just got into an argument with Sollux again and is mad about it. It’s never more serious than that.” Terezi assured.
“Yeah, maybe you’re right.” Feferi replied.
“I’m always right.” Terezi noted.
“Oh well. Do you wanna come visit my castle? We have ice cream.” Feferi asked.
“Depends…do you have red flavour?” Terezi asked, and Feferi looked at her a little confused.
“…But…red isn’t a flavour…?” She said carefully.
“It is to me. So, do you have it?” Terezi asked again. Feferi thought for a moment before answering.
“Yes, I think I do have something actually.” She replied.
“Great! In that case of course!” She said and smiled.
Soon they headed over to Feferi’s castle, Feferi leading Terezi to their destination.
