Work Text:

October 30th, exactly 11:00 pm.
It was far past their bedtimes, but for this particular special occasion, all the critters were allowed to gather.

"Is the blanket ready?!"

"Yes captain!!"

"Bring the popcorn!"

"Right here captain!!"

Jjoongrami stood on top of their miniature round table, commanding multiple other fluffy bodies. Behind him, a brown puppy was swiping around the bright rectangular screen.

"Did you put it up yet?"

"Almost!" Tyudeongi barked, paws jumping about upon their mini iPad.

"Captain!"
A bunny caught Jjoongrami's attention, to which he replied, "yes Byeoli?"

"Can- can we sit next to each other?" He held a small pillow in his arms. "I don't think I can handle a spooky movie by myself..." A pout formed on his lips.

The squirrel lightly jumped at those words, and his eyes widened before he knew it. Jjoongrami's furry white cheeks nearly reddened. "Um- that's fine.. I- I will sit next to you then, but only to protect you!"

To his words, a smile raised Ddeongbyeol's pink cheeks. "Thank you captain!"

Before he could even fluster at the promise he just made, another voice peeped up;

"The movie is ready!"

"Huh?" Jjoongrami spun around, "well where are the kitties?! They're being late!!"

"You put them on snack duty, remember?" Tyudeongi tilted his head.

"I did?" The squirrel brought a paw up to his lips. Just as he tilted his head too, the door to their communal room had pushed ajar.

"Meow!" It was Sandeoki who opened it so, walking hurriedly on two hind legs as he carried a large bowl of popcorn.

"Deoki, that's too big!" Hetmongi whined.

"It's the smallest we could find in the kitchen!" The kitten mewled back.

"It'll be fine," another voice came slightly muffled from behind him. "If there's eight of us, we'll finish it in no time," Wooyonyang said through sharp teeth. He kicked the door shut with his hind paw, carrying in his mouth the handle of a small basket of goodies.

"Oooo," Bbyongming was the first to coo, bouncing over to the two. "What did you get, what did you get!"

"Just a few treats," Wooyonyang allowed him to follow him back to the center of the room, where the movie was being displayed. He let his jaws loose, placing the basket down in front of the tiny beanbags and well sized table.

"Hmp?" Byeoli squeaked as he peeked inside the basket. "These look a lot like the humans' candies! Won't they be mad at us?!"

"Not if they don't notice it missing, duh."

"Hmm.. makes sense!"

"Okay, everyone! Everyone listen up!!"
Jjoongrami's voice squeaked well in the big room, enough to catch every doll's attention. Behind him, Tyudeongi bounced on over, returning to their seating area.

"Tonight is officially Aniteez's first movie night!" The squirrel introduced. "We're going to enjoy this movie quietly and well, got it!"

"Yes captain!!!"

"Okay!" Jjoongrami hopped down from the table, letting out a small huff as he used his small paws to pull it in closer. He placed the basket of treats on top of it, and left the large popcorn bowl on the floor for everyone to grab from.

"How long is it?" A cub's voice had asked.

"Only an hour!" Their leader answered, hopping over now to the iPad screen. "Are we all ready?"

"Yes!!"

At the sound of every critter, Jjoongrami pressed his paw on the center triangular button. It unpaused, and he hurried himself back over to his seat: an orange beanbag perfectly in the middle.
It laid next to a pink bean bag; Byeoli leaned his head against their captain as the movie began.

'Trick or Treat! A Terrifying Tale...'

None of the dolls could tell what the movie would be about, but with a bit of research, Jjoongrami knew it would be safe enough for even their youngest, yet spooky enough to cause them a few jumps.
And a few jumps it did cause.

"Eep!!!!"

"Arf!!!"

Ddeongbyeol and Hetmongi were the first to panic, flinching hard in their seats at the sound of thunder striking.

"We're not even past the beginning," Jjongbear sighed.

Eventually, the movie crept in further. It began with the scene of a suburban neighborhood, full of human homes and pretty planted trees. Children walked along in the darkness of the night, wearing such attire that caught each doll's round eyes.

"I see a vampire!" Bbyongming chirped.

"Oo, oo! That's a zombie!" Deoki chimed in.

"Shh!" Jjoongrami hushed them both.

An owl sang its song, hooting in the hollow of a tree. The camera panned, and revealed the inside of a human's home.
Ding! The doorbell rang.
"Coming!" The woman had called out.

"Who is it?" Byeoli asked in a low whisper, holding a piece of puffy popcorn in his paws.

"I think it's a ghost," Jjongbear giggled, already chewing on another piece.

"Hmp?! I hope not!!"

"I said I'm coming!" The woman repeated as the doorbell rang once more. When she opened the door however, no one appeared to be there.

"I told you it's a ghost!"

The camera panned low suddenly, and to Jjongbear's dismay, it was not in fact a ghost.
What stood there, looking back at them, was a real black cat.
"Meow.."
"Oh aren't you a cutie!" She awed at the creature. "What are you doing out here?"
"Meow..."
Thunder struck, booming in the distance. The lightning glistened the cat's dark fur, and its sharp eyes stared deeply into the woman.
"Oh?" From behind the human came a rumbling against her wall.

"What is that?" A doll's voice squeaked.

As the screen flickered, it showed a painting, shaking back and forth vigorously.
"Oh- oh my!!"
The painting suddenly collapsed, bonking the woman right against her head. She gasped, but fell back at once. Her eyes shut and her body laid still.
"Meow..." The black cat stared at her for a moment, before raising itself, and walking away.

"H-how did that happen?!" Hetmongi questioned.

"Was it the cat?" Tyudeongi asked as well.

The black cat continued to walk through the neighborhood. As it strolled by someone's garden, the flowers went limp, abruptly turning a sickly brown. The cat passed by two children.
"Aww, it's a kitty!" One of them said with such glee. The cat purred as a hand approached its fur, offering a pat.
"Meow.."
"W-woah!" The child who had walked past stumbled upon a pebble. He staggered for a bit, before falling against the concrete ground, scraping his knees.
"M-my hand!" The child who pet the cat now exclaimed, screaming as she broke out into hives.
"Meow...

Ddeongbyeoli pouted as the cat continued its journey. "Wh-what's happening to everyone?"

The rain grew worse as the movie continued, and thunder roared again. Another child walked past the black cat.
"Hi kitty!" He said.
"Meow.."
Beep beep!
A car sped by a puddle, and immediately soaked the boy all over with cold water. "Ah!"

"I- I think.." Jjoongrami spoke up, "the cat is bringing everyone bad luck..."

"Hey," Wooyonyang interrupted, "that can't be it!"

As the movie continued however, his point seemed to be further from the truth. The cat made its way to another home, and when the person opened the door, they had slipped against their wet patio. Following the next home, the human who had opened the door owned a rather large dog. It barked at the cat, chasing it away, yet ran off itself as well. As the cat ran, finding a safe spot, it came across an elderly woman. She reached down to pet it, her hand slowly approaching...

"No!!"

"Don't!"

The cat responded with its signature sound...

"Hey babi-"

"Ahh!!!"

The door suddenly burst open. Every critter flinched, including their captain who let out a loud squeak. A piece of popcorn jumped into the air, springing out of Bbyongming's panicked wings.

"Ah.." Seonghwa glanced at the small ones as his head peeked inside, "is your movie not over?"

"Ah- um," Jjoongrami cleared his throat, hiding his fear. "Al-almost!!"

"Okay," he spoke low, trying to not interrupt, "clean up when you're done."

"Mhm! We will!"

"Have fun kids."

As the door shut, a painful groan left the old woman in the film. Her back seemed to have given out, and the cat abandoned her to wander off. It continued to walk and walk, passing by each and every home. By the end of the movie, much of the neighborhood was left distraught, whether in pain or scares.
The final shot showed the black cat, licking its paws clean. "Meow..."
Lightning striked! A few of the dolls jumped.

"Trick or Treat! The Cursed Cat..."

When the credits began to roll, Jjoongrami hopped up to pause the screen.

"Well that was um.. that was good!" He pressed on the center button, then turned back around. "Right everyone?"

The dolls were left completely frozen on their bean bags, not a single one of them responded. Rather, one of their heads slowly turned to the side. It was Bbyongming, who sat right next to Wooyonyang.

"Y-you're not cu-cursed, right?" He chirped nervously.

"What?!" The kitten instantly meowed in shock, "why would you say that!"

Jjongbear rolled his head up, looking at the older doll too. "Wait! Yangie hyung is a black cat too!!"

"That- that doesn't mean anything does it?" Ddeongbyeol shakily asked.

"I- I think I'm ready for bed," Tyudeongi hopped off his beanbag. "We should all go to sleep now!"

Jjoongrami pouted, blinking around each doll. At his movement, a few other dolls shifted as well, edging further away from one specific kitten.
"O-okay," he agreed. "It was just a movie everyone!” He reminded. "Let's- let's clean up now!"
The squirrel twirled himself around, shifting paws around to shut off the mini iPad. Behind him, Hetmongi cleaned up empty wrappers from their floor.

"Jjongie! Can you help me bring this back to the kitchen?"

"Sure Deoki hyung!"

Ddeongbyeol grabbed onto a beanbag, huffing as he dragged it back into its respective corner. Following him, Wooyonyang was bringing his own with his mouth. In his claws, he held onto a pink beanbag as well.
"Hey, don't touch that!" The bunny exclaimed. Such fright left his voice that Wooyonyang's eyes widened.

He dropped the red cloth from his mouth. "Your seat? Why?"

"Be-because..." Byeoli avoided eyes. He tugged the beanbag away from black paws, "because I said so," a huff left him as he pushed it into a corner, far from Wooyonyang's seat.
The kitten stared for a moment. He silently blinked. Turning around, Wooyonyang walked back towards the other dolls.

"Is there anything else to clean up?"

"Ah!!" Bbyongming chirped in fear, panicked wings flapping. He jumped so hard, the kitten was taken aback once more.

"Is something wrong?"

"N-no!" he shook his head hastily.
Wooyonyang blinked, traveling his eyes to the other doll standing there. Tyudeongi and him locked eyes, but the puppy gasped, immediately looking away.

"Did I-"

"I don't think there's anything left to clean up," the larger doll interrupted. "We should go now, right Bbyong?" His vision shifted to the other.

"Mhm," the chick nodded, "we should!"

They hurried away so quickly, rushing to the door. Once again, the kitten could only stare. What was up with them?
He turned to see Jjoongrami placing away the iPad. Eyes lingered lower, and landed on the basket of treats he brought in earlier. It was completely empty now, only filled with vacant candy wrappers. Biting onto the handle, Wooyonyang bounced away, carrying the basket back where he found it. On the way, he made eye contact with Jjongbear and Sandeoki.

"Meow!" He chimed, smiling sharp canines. Sandeoki smiled back, "hi Yangie!" He even greeted, but Jjongbear pouted. He lowered his head.

"I- I should go wait for Jongho..."

Without a warning, the cub suddenly walked away, leaving the two kittens by themselves.
Wooyonyang turned his head, eyeing the doll. He leapt onto the kitchen counter, placing the basket down.

"Was the movie that scary?"

"Meow?"

"The movie," Yangie repeated, lowering his head to Sandeoki, who remained seated on the kitchen floor. "Everyone is acting so strange."

"Huh? It wasn't scary to me," the feline contradicted. "Maybe because it's late? I'm feeling kinda sleepy!"

"Hmm..." Yang cocked his head back, focusing on the bunch of dolls who waited for their owners. They were smiling as they spoke to one another, yet none looked his way. "...Maybe."

"Do you want to sleep over tonight?" Deoki asked brightly.

"I don't think so," the latter responded, "Wooyoung is coming."

"Awh," he pouted, "well, me and Byeoli said we would sleep over together!"

"Really?" Yangie tilted his head, "have fun then!"

"We will!"

Ding!

"Arf!"

The sound startled Tyudeongi first, and his loud bark made Bbyongming chirp, then Jjongbear squeal in fear.

"Coming," a deeper voice called throughout the flat. Seonghwa approached their front door, undoing the locks. The dolls turned their heads, and a few worried eyes shook about.

"It- it can't be.." Bbyongming whispered in fear.

Unlike their worries however, opening it revealed two other members. Wooyoung and Mingi stood under the frame.

"Oh, hey Mingi!!" The same chick immediately bounced up and pranced over with cheerful eyes. His owner picked him up with a gentle smirk.
At the sight of his own human as well, Wooyonyang jumped off the counter, making his way alongside the other two dolls. They were brought back downstairs to their respective humans on the separate apartment floor, where they brushed their teeth and washed up before heading to bed.

"Sleep well Yangie," Wooyoung said to him before shutting the lights of his bedroom.

"Mhm," Yonyang meowed in response, already curled on top of the man's blanket.

In the silence, he thought about how their movie night had gone. The movie itself seemed fun, but why did everyone act so... off? Was it really that scary? Or were they scared of something else? Or perhaps, someone else?
An odd feeling hit his chest when he thought of that. It can't be. Yangie shook his head, clearing his thoughts out. Shutting marbled eyes away, he let himself drift off to dream land.

"Yang ah, let's go make breakfast."

Wooyoung woke him up first thing in the morning, a bright 9 o'clock. Although rather early for a day off, his human told him how he had plans today. By the time the kitten was out of bed, the man was already dressed in a white tracksuit with white shorts, on top of his head a white cap and large black sunglasses. After washing off, Yonyang came well groomed himself to help with the cooking. It was their usual routine, and although he did not like admitting it, it was also Yang's favorite way to bond with his dad. As he was watching the pot steam, a yawn erupted from the kitchen's entrance. Wooyonyang turned his head, peering over the kitchen island.

"Good morning Yunho!" He greeted with a meow.

"Morning," his voice was husk, but his face masked the drowsiness well. "What are you two making?" The tall man leaned his arms onto the island.

"What are we making Yangie?" Wooyoung passed the question along.

"Tofu and egg stew!" His cat answered proudly.

Not much time passed before the other members all woke up as well. Jongho and Mingi joined the counter, along with their small critters. As Wooyoung passed them their dishes, Yang helped pass around small filled bowls for the dolls. The first bowl he gave went to Tyudeongi.
Rather than grabbing his small spoon, he stared at his stew. A subtle frown filled the pup's face.

"What's wrong?" Said Yangie, tilting his head to the left, "you love tofu Tyudeongi!"

"Mmh..." A strange hum left him. "Nothing.. th-thank you Yang.."

The kitten tried not to mind it. Maybe he had a tummy ache. He held the next warm bowl, passing it to their youngest critter.

"Thank you," Jongho said to him, reaching for a small spoon. When he attempted to feed his doll however, the small cub backed his head, letting out a whine.

"I want Wooyoung hyung to give it to me!" He demanded.

"Meow?" Yangie cocked his head again. "But- but why?"

"Hey it's okay," his human stepped in. "I'll give you some more, don't worry baby."

Yonyang watched as Wooyoung grabbed the bowl he had prepared, putting it aside to prepare another. He blinked, looking down at the pot full of stew. Maybe he was also feeling sick. Grabbing the last small bowl, he filled it himself once more for their last critter.

"Here you go Bbyongming," Yang slid over a bowl of tofu stew. "There's no eggs in it, just for you!"

"Why are you doing this?"

Wooyonyang froze, still holding onto the bowl. "Wh- what do you mean?"

"Cooking. You know what happens if you cook for us!"

"Meow?"

"What are you talking about?" Mingi interjected, bowing his head to his chick. "Is something wrong?"

"Yes!" He chirped, "he needs to get his paws off before he hurts us!!"

"Hurts you?" Yunho raised his brow.

"Why would I hurt you?" The kitten questioned as he stepped away from the bowl.

"You know how!" Bbyongming continued, his chirps growing louder. "You're supposed to stay away from us!!"

Yang let out an unintentional mewl, eyes widening as he heard those very words.

"Hey!" Before his heart could drop too, Wooyoung raised his voice. The sink went silent, and he dried off wet, cleansed hands. "Why are we fighting at the table?"

"We aren't," Mingi picked his doll up from his seat, "isn't that right Bbyong?"

The chick scrunched his face, crossing his wings. He turned away from the black kitten, letting out a huff into his human's chest.

Yonyang could only stare. "Meow?"
He turned his head to the other critters, seeing if they felt the same way. Tyudeongi looked off to the side, Jjongbear pouting down at his bowl. Both were quiet.
"Did I do something?" Yang asked carefully, looking back at his owner for support.

"He’s not feeling well," Wooyoung lifted him with large hands. "Let's go upstairs. You wanna play with Deoki, don't you?"

Wooyonyang didn't meow, only letting himself be carried away. Eyeing over his human's shoulder, he could still notice the scowls on the dolls' faces.
Was breakfast not good? Or... Did he make it bad?

Wooyoung used the elevator to take themselves upstairs, where the other members resided just two floors above. It was also where Aniteez’ play room laid.
After ringing the doorbell, it did not take long before it unlocked. Seonghwa stood there holding his bunny in arms.

"Hi," he greeted the other male. Contrasting his warm expression, Byeoli gasped, marbled pink eyes growing big as they made contact with Yang's. He quickly looked away, hugging tight onto Seonghwa's shirt. The feline frowned in confusion.

"Is Hongjoong ready?" Wooyoung stepped inside.

"He should be," there was a hint of sleepiness residing in Seonghwa's voice. "Hongjoong are you done?" He called throughout the flat.

"Give me a minute!" The man responded in an equal decibel.

"Well hurry up!" Wooyoung shouted back, stepping deeper into the living room. "We don't have all day!" He made his way to the sofa, planting himself and his kitten down. Seonghwa stepped his way over too, and sat down on the opposite couch.

"You all ate already?" The blond's voice returned to normal speaking to the older.

Seonghwa shook his head, to which Wooyoung continued, "we made tofu egg stew. I can bring some up if they want."

"That doesn't sound bad," the eldest dipped his head to his doll, "do you want some honey?"
Usually his expression would brighten; it was Yang's favorite to see how the older's eyes would light up to his cooking. However, Ddeongbyeol narrowed them into a glare.

"We? You mean Wooyonyang cooked too?"

"Of course," Wooyoung replied, "he always does, right Yangie?"

The kitten nodded. "It's really delicious. You should try it!"

The look on the bunny's face did not budge however. Byeoli glanced at the floor, before pouting and turning around into Seonghwa's chest. "I'm not hungry."

His owner's eyebrows raised, "huh? You never say no breakfast darling?"

"I said I'm not hungry!" Byeoli huffed a loud squeak, loud enough to make Yang's heart jump. Seonghwa looked more taken aback, a hand wrapping over to the bunny's behind now.

"It's okay, we still have some leftovers in the fridge." He picked the doll up to lay on his shoulder. "He'll eat when he wants."

Wooyoung must have sensed Yang's emotions as well, for a hand fell against his back, petting down his soft fur. It was enough soothing to prevent a pout from forming on his face.
Why was everyone so upset today?

"Ready."

Heads followed the voice coming from the hallway. Hongjoong emerged from it, carrying his squirrel with one arm. He wore a simple large black tee with black shorts falling to the mid thigh length.

"Finally," Wooyoung stood up, which urged Yang to jump down from his lap.

"Where are you even going?" Seonghwa asked, although the outfits they wore revealed the answer quite a bit.

"Cycling," their leader said as he slid on a pair of black sneakers. "Wooyoung said I need to get out of the house more."

"Did I lie?" Said male neatly swept through his blonde hair, fixing on the white snapback he wore.

"When are you coming back?" Was the oldest's next question.

"Not sure," Wooyoung responded, bringing his sunglasses down to veil eyes. "Can you bring them to their play room?"

"Ah right-" Hongjoong let his right arm loose, "Rami, you should go."
From his arms jumped down an orange squirrel. Their captain looked at Ddeongbyeol first, then Yonyang. His eyes filled with alarm at once seeing the kitten, before immediately diverting to the floor. It looked oddly similar to the faces Yang received all morning.

"I'll bring them, don't go too far please."

"Yes mom," Hongjoong chimed. Wooyoung snickered, but Seonghwa's face did not budge.

"Come on," he sighed instead as the door shut, "let's go to your room kids."

Jjoongrami led the way initially as they made their way to their communal space. When the human let go of his bunny however, Byeol bounced over next to the captain. He wrapped a small arm over their squirrel, keeping him firmly close. His head swiveled backwards, and shot harsh eyes at Yonyang.

It was enough to make the kitten freeze for a moment. Did he see wrong? Before he knew it, the door opened, remaining ajar as the two older dolls disappeared off inside. Yang stuck to his spot in flusterment.

"Aren't you coming?" Seonghwa gently asked.

"Uhm," the feline turned his head to the side. "Is Deoki awake?"

"Ah they should be," Seonghwa took steps away from their play room. "I'll wake up San and Yeosang, you wait inside, okay?"

Yonyang swallowed. He thought of the pink eyes he received.
"O..okay." Nonetheless, he agreed.

Not many were in their communal room when it was this early in the morning. Entering inside, he noticed Ddeongbyeol sitting in front of a round face mirror, using it to try on his accessories. On the other end of the room, their captain held a small paper and pencil with him, seeming to be focused on drawing.

"Good morning fellas!"

Usually he'd receive smiles and squeaky greetings in return. This time, both of the dolls only stared at him.
"...Hmph," Byeol looked back at his mirror, huffing in annoyance. Rami did not say a word, only returning to his work.

Yonyang swallowed once again. Maybe.. maybe they were just tired. He took cautious steps further in, and hopped onto his cat tree.
After a couple of hours, the rest of the little critters entered the room to begin their days. Jjongbear greeted their captain first, skipping over to help him color. Tyudeongi and Bbyongming stepped in together, and picked up a deck of cards. They sat their bottoms on the floor in front of a tiny table, beginning some sort of game.
The black cat watched from above, tail curled close to his body. He remembered Bbyongming's words from breakfast downstairs. His eyes sank, and his voice stayed silent this time. It took a moment longer before another puppy entered the room with a wide stretch. This time, Wooyonyang's eyes lit up.

"Good morning Hetmongi!" Ddeongbyeol welcomed with a waving paw.

"Good morning Byeoli hyung!" He giggled in response, "morning Captain!"

"Hmp?" Jjoongrami looked up from behind a large coloring pencil. "Oh! Good morning!"

"Hetmong!"

The puppy turned his head to the sound of his name, but his eyes enlarged seeing the critter ahead.

Yonyang hopped down from his cat tree. "Good to see you!" He smiled, approaching the other. "Did you sleep well?"

"Umm," Hetmongi brought a light paw up to his lips, his head turning to avoid eyes, "y-yep.. you slept well t-too?"

Yang swayed his tail to the side. "I did, are you alright Mongi?" He gave his head a slight tilt.

"Huh? Me?" His head swerved back so quick, his ears jumped. The puppy's eyes were still wide, full of a certain emotion. "Um- umm-"

"Hetmongi!!"
He turned again at once at the sound of another doll. Byeol raised his paw in the air, holding onto a pink bowtie. "Do you want to dress up with me?" He called out.

"Oh, yes hyung!" The beige puppy smiled as he responded, but a look back at the feline made his eyes grow pitiful.
"I- I have to go, sorry Yangie!"

Yonyang opened his snout, but only canines shone as Hetmongi hastily pranced off. He remained in his spot for a moment, frozen with surprise.
The pup and him were best friends for so long, they'd be the first to chat with each other every morning. Never in his days had he seen such a worried look on Hetmongi's face, was it something he did wrong? Yonyang could only silently watch as everyone stuck with one another, excited voices surrounding him.
He turned his head to his left, looking across the room. Jjongbear and their captain were well focused on coloring a sketch. Against the far end of the wall by a window, Tyudeongi and Bbyongming were shuffling cards, softly talking as they played their game. To his right, their eldest bunny and puppy were rummaging through small dresses and bows, giggling together.
And in the middle of the room, the black cat sat by himself. His tail lightly swayed side to side, head held down awkwardly. Mornings were usually quiet, but it felt as though all he could do was be quiet, left fully alone. Just as Yang picked himself up, about to return to his cat tree, the door had creaked.

"Hmp?"

Everyone's furry heads turned to see the frame slightly ajar, and a human peeking inside.

"Is anyone hungry?" Yeosang's deep voice gently announced: "It's time to eat breakfast now."

"Ooh, me! Me!"
Ddeongbyeol was the first to rush away to the door. Didn't he say he was not hungry earlier? Following him was Hetmongi, and soon Jjoongrami as well. Yang hesitated, but approached closer to the tall male.

"Yeosang!"

His meow caught attention. "Hm?" A soft smile rested on his lips as he crouched down to the kitten.

"Is Deoki awake?" Yang looked up with marbled eyes.

"He is," Yeosang looked over his shoulder to the living room, "but he's eating right now. Can you wait for him to finish?" He returned eyes to the black kitten.
Pleased with the answer, Yonyang nodded. "Okay!"
Yeosang reached his hand down, "you should play with the others now, he won't take long," he gently scratched under Yang's chin.
A light purr left him, and his face melted in comfort. As the door shut, Yangie turned back around feeling much more cheerful. Although, he caught the look that the other dolls gave him. Everyone was staring.

"Meow?" He stepped back towards the center of the room. "What's wrong?"

Bbyong narrowed his eyes. Tyudeongi looked down at his cards.

"You should be more careful Yangie hyung!" Jjongbear spoke.

"Why?" The kitten asked innocently.

"You still don't know?" Bbyongming chirped.

"I'm sure he'll be okay," Tyudeongi comforted. "Don't worry about it Yang!"

But with the faces he was given, it was hard not to. Eyes avoided him again soon, and all Wooyonyang could do was glance between them quietly. A small, confused pout rested on his snout.
Despite the strange comments, the feline stepped back over to his cat tree, sitting down underneath it.
Everyone else may have been acting odd today, but there was one critter he knew he could depend on to lift his mood. He laid his head down on his front paws, and shut black marbled eyes away. There, he patiently waited for his best playmate to return.

"Meow..."
A dark silhouette appeared in the distance. Who is that?
"Meow..."
His heart thumped, but curiosity drew him in closer. One step, two steps.
"Meow..."
Before he knew it, sharp pupils met with his own, and claws pounced on top of him.
"Meow!!"

Yang jumped at once, glass eyes shooting open. Standing on all four paws, he swiveled his head around the room, only to notice it rather tranquil.
He must have fallen asleep whilst waiting for Sandeoki. The other dolls returned from their meal time, but the purple feline remained nowhere to be found. With eyes circling the room however, he spotted his favorite puppy sitting by the windowsill. Yonyang slowly extended his front legs, arching into a stretch. With a soft yawn, he made his way over to Hetmongi.
Soft pitter-patters arose the closer he approached. It took the kitten a second to recognize it came from outside, the sky gloom and drizzling. He assumed it was around noon, because that would be the hour when Hetmongi leisured by the window. His round eyes seemed well captivated by the rain, a subtle smile on his snout as he peacefully watched droplets fall.

"Hi Mongi!"

"Arf!"

The puppy flinched, ears leaping to air with his startled body. "Oh! H-hey Yangie," he peeked down from the ledge which he sat upon.

"Enjoying the rain?" Yang smiled, blinking his black marbled eyes.

"Mhm.." Hetmongi looked back through his window.

"Must be nice!"

"S- sure- sure is!" His voice lightly quivered.

"Are you cold?" The cat tilted his head, "you should come down from there if you are!"

"I'm fine, don't worry about me!"
The puppy laughed, but it left nervously. His eyes were fixated on the outside, and Yang could not quite see his face from the back of his head. Standing on the carpeted floor, he thought of how Hetmongi acted earlier too. Was his best friend feeling awkward with him there?

"I'll leave you to it then.." Yangie decided to not question it. Perhaps the rain was just that interesting. Scanning the room, he still could not spot Deoki. What he did spot however was a couple of dolls resting in their beanbag seats, chatting as a bright screen played in front of them.

"Captain!"

Ears picked up the meow, and both heads turned to see the feline making his way. Jjoongrami's eyes widened, and Ddeongbyeol's ones narrowed.

"Hey Byeoli hyung!" Yang stepped in closer, "did you two enjoy breakfast?"

The bunny frowned firmly. Beside him, his orange friend pouted. They held looks Yang had never seen before.

"It.. it was okay," Jjoongrami answered carefully. "Is there something you wanted to ask?"

"Hmm," Yangie diverted his eyes to the screen. "Well, since you're using the tv, would you know what time it is?"

"Sure," Rami hopped out of his seat, bouncing over to the mini screen to open the clock. From the beanbag behind him, Byeoli huffed.

"It's a quarter to one."

More than the squirrel's answer, Yangie couldn't help but notice Byeol's actions.

"Anything else?"

His eyes returned to Jjoongrami. "Uhm, what were you guys watching this early?"

"A movie," Their captain answered, "Byeoli wanted to see something together, since it's Halloween, right Byeoli?"

The bunny furrowed his brows, sullen eyes glaring at the floor.

"Ooo, I know some good movies if you wanna watch them together!" Yangie suggested excitedly.

"Hmp?" Jjoongrami's interest piqued, his arms coming together. "That doesn't sound too bad," his paws fiddled, "do you want to watch one Byeol?"
When heads turned to the eldest doll, his own picked up towards Yang.

"Well.. I wanted to enjoy something with Rami," his pink paws crossed, "someone who isn't going to hurt me!"

His marbled eyes were as harsh as his voice, and Yangie's own ones enlarged with surprise.

"What do you mean hurt you?"

The bunny huffed a squeak, turning his head away dramatically. Yonyang nearly felt deja vu then. Even the upset look Ddeongbyeol gave reminded him of the other dolls. Spinning his head to Rami, he noticed worry on the squirrel's face. "What does he mean captain?"

Jjoongrami pouted, keeping his head down. His eyes held great worry however, and his paws fiddled harder anxiously.

"I- It's nothing," he muttered in a shaky voice, "Byeoli's just not.. not feeling well!"

Yonyang paused in place. He wanted to believe it, he wanted to badly, but these were the same words he was telling himself all morning.
His heart thumped, thumping like it did in his nightmare. Something was wrong.

"Is there anything else you wanted to ask?"

Yang glanced at Byeol again, how upset he still looked. He glanced to his other side now, across the room.

"Do you know where Deoki is?"

"Sandeoki?" Jjoongrami tilted his head. "Hmm, I think he went to the bathroom. He was awake when I saw him."

"O..okay," Yangie took a step away, then several more. His tail hung low, tucked between his legs as he walked.
From behind, Jjoongrami stared pitifully as he grew further and further away.
The feline made his way back to his cat tower, once more, laying down underneath it.
Not much time had passed, but he already felt so tired. They were forced out of bed earlier today, but that couldn't be why. His head was fuzzy in a way it was never before, and his chest was heavy too. Yang thought about how it thumped hard from talking to everyone. As his tail whipped against the floor however, he kept his vision focused on the door, waiting for it to open.
Even if no one else craved his company today, he knew one certain feline would.
And after a few minutes, that very cat came through. "Meow!"

Yang sprung up at once, his eyes lighting up completely at the sight of purple. "Deoki!!"
No matter how upset he was, Sandeoki was always there to cheer him up. The two would be together the most, sitting up high on their tree, grooming and playing with one another. Whether Yonyang was feeling active or grumpy, Sandeoki would never leave his buddy's side. Seeing him approaching now too with light bouncing feet, the black kitten couldn't help but run up to him.

"Deoki!" He meowed with delight, "where have you been?"

The purple cat paused his steps, freezing with one paw in the air. His usual eye smile turned slightly downwards. "Ah, h-hi Yangie!"  Deoki responded with a quivering voice. "I- I was just washing up with San!"
It was too similar to how Hetmongi spoke to him too. Yang's smile slowly diminished from his snout. Sandeoki bounced on right by him, and his eyes stared along paws.

"Uh, then," his body soon followed too, "what do you want to do today?"

"Umm," Sandeoki walked over to their tall tree, "I don't know," his tail swayed, before he leaped up onto the piece of furniture.

"Y'know, today is Halloween!" Yang meowed from below, before leaping up the tree as well. He sat beside his partner as he always had before. "Maybe we could watch a scary movie!"

Sandeoki purred a deep tone, it did not arrive in pleasure. "I don't think I'm up for one," he raised up from his position, and jumped down onto the floor again. "You can watch one yourself, Yangie!"

Yonyang's face fell with confusion. "Why not? You love movies?" He peeked over the ledge of the tree as he spoke, before jumping down as well. "We can do something else then!"

"Hmm," Sandeoki looked at their tree, but not Yonyang's round eyes. Once again, he leaped up onto the platform, leaving the other cat behind. "Maybe later."

Left by himself on the floor, Yang tilted his head to look at his friend. His tail curled around his body, and his eyes were low, away from him. Sandeoki was acting just as the other dolls were. Being given the cold shoulder by his closest best friend, Yangie's heart didn't just thump, it sank. His ears picked up the rain from outside.
"Are...are you avoiding me?"

"Meow?" Deoki seemed caught by surprise. "N-no!"

"You are, aren't you?" Yangie stepped closer to the tree, eyes focused on the other kitten above. "You're avoiding me like everyone else is today!"

"I'm not!" He denied once more. "I'm- I'm talking to you right now!"

"Then why don't you want me near you?"

The feline received no response to that. Sandeoki only averted his eyes again. The purple marbling morphed softer, and his face fell sullen. Thunder roared from beyond their play room's window.

"You know something don't you?" Yonyang continued, "tell me!"

He didn't answer right away. Deoki refused to look at the other cat, but his mouth slowly parted. "Umm.. rem-remember the movie we saw?"

Yang swayed his tail, "Yeah?"

"Well, the cat in there hurt everyone it walked by," Deoki meowed from above, "and you're a black cat too!"

His ears lowered at those words. "Is... that why you're avoiding me?"

Sandeoki glanced at him for a second, before turning his head away. He silently nodded, much to Yonyang's shock.

"But- but you're a cat too!" Yang kept his eyes on his friend, raising a front paw up. "We watched it together! I even sat next to you and nothing happened!"

"I- I know," Deoki mewled softly, "but I think it's just better we stay apart right now. That's what Byeol hyung told me!"

Yonyang's features fell again, and his heart skipped. Thunder roared again, and rain tapped harder against glass. He felt as though his head tilted ever higher to get a better look at Deoki. "Ddeong... Ddeongbyeoli hyung?"

"Mhm," nodded the feline above. "He said the curse could be real, and that you will hurt us if you get too close!"

Yonyang went silent. Thunder boomed again from outside, and his ears lowered further, going flat against his head. His pupils dilated, eyes shaking, before his head turned to the right end of the room.
Shock filled him too much to speak, but so did other emotions that attacked his throat. Gathering all together, they boiled right over, as he glared at a particular pink bunny.

"Are you kidding me?!"

Lightning struck from outside then. The window glowed abruptly.

"Arf!"

"Chirp!!"

"Eep!" Byeoli jumped in his seat. "W-what?"

"You!" Yonyang shouted, marching towards where the older sat from earlier. "You told everyone I will hurt them?! Even Sandeoki?!"

The doll's eyes widened well, but he quickly narrowed them, mimicking Yang's frustration. "Well, I- I was just looking out for Deoki!" He argued. "Am I wrong? You're a black cat! That means you're cursed!"

Yang looked around the room. They were all staring at him now. Some of their eyes held worry, others surprise.
"Is that true?" He meowed loud enough for everyone's ears. "You all think I'm cursed?"

Hetmongi held his head low, staring at the carpet. Tyudeongi did not look at him either. Bbyongming huffed, and Jjongbear fiddled with his paws. Sandeoki remained in his spot too. No one spoke up. No one could deny.

Yang swallowed. His tail curled by his hind legs, hanging limp. "So you think so too?" His glossy eyes glanced at the final doll, their captain.

Jjoongrami, who was sitting beside his partner, could not even look at him. A pout and guilty eyes filled his features. He chewed on his bottom lip.

"We all saw the same movie," a squeak came before the captain could speak, "if you know what's best then you'd get away from us!"

Yang traveled his eyes to Byeoli who spoke so firmly. His eyebrows furrowed, and his mouth formed a subconscious, shaky pout. Every emotion in him brewed hard now, and he couldn't control them any longer.
"Fine!" The kitten shouted harshly, "If that's what you want, I'll stay away from everyone!!"

Yang swerved his body around. Ears still flat against his head, he hastily ran out the door, leaving before any critter could catch how his eyes watered. Lightning struck beyond the window.

Jjoongrami's eyes enlarged with alarm as Yonyang took off in anger. "W-wait!"

"Rami!" Ddeongbyeol squeaked in surprise when the squirrel hopped off of his seat, "where are you going?!"

The captain hurried his feet towards the now open door. "Yangie, wait!"

Knock, knock, knock.
Rough bangs hit against the door. Seonghwa emerged from his bedroom, leaving through the hallway before walking towards the sound. He already knew who it would be from the text messages he received a few minutes prior. Opening their front door, he couldn't help the snort that left him.

"Don't laugh," Wooyoung hissed. His cap was drenched completely, his white tracksuit dotted all over in water droplets.

"Sorry," Seonghwa stifled a chuckle, "you didn't check the weather?"

"It said it was supposed to be clear!"

"Move over," Hongjoong bumped shoulders as he stepped inside.

"Ah don't get the floor wet!"

His darker clothes didn't appear as dramatic as Wooyoung's, but his hair completely contrasted. His soft bangs morphed into wet orange spikes, dripping water down his cheekbones.

"God," he ran his hand up with a frown, wiping his hair back in a singular sweep, "my legs hurt like shit too."

"How far did you go?" Seonghwa bent down to lift his sneakers. They were somehow soaked completely through.

"Not too far," Wooyoung answered instead as he unzipped his tracksuit. Underneath was a white tee, which remained dry from the apparel's coverage. "I wanted to get us to the next district over but, ugh, this stupid rain."

Placing the shoes outside of their flat for now, Seonghwa took a glimpse at his dorm mate. There was a slight limp in his steps as their leader walked further inside.

"I think it's best you didn't get that ahead," He laughed, "for Hongjoong's sake."
Said man leaned against the kitchen island to stabilize himself. "I think I need to lie down."

"Since you're back now," the eldest shut their front door, "are you going to cook anything?"

"Ah right," Wooyoung went towards the kitchen space as well, specifically the sink. "I was thinking of making something for lunch.” He washed his already wet hands. “Did you check on the little guys?"

"Mhm," Seonghwa stepped closer, leaning over the kitchen island as well. "They're just fine."
Just then, the shut door opened instantly with a loud cry.

"Yang!! Wait a se-!!"

"Leave me alone!!!"

A black small body ran by the living room, dashing away. Following behind it was a hurried orange one. Following them were all the member's heads, until both disappeared into the hallway.

Bang!

A rough burst of sound came soon after.

"Yang!! Open the door!!!"

As mixed shouts filled the other end of their flat, Wooyoung turned his head to look at their eldest.
"You didn't check on them, did you?"

Seonghwa only parted his lips, unable to answer. "I-" he breathed out, immediately bringing himself up straight. "They were alright this morning?"

When he made his way to the disruption, the other two followed behind him. At the very end of the corridor was Jjoongrami, standing himself up against the very last room's shut door.

"Yangie! Please talk to me!" His balled up fists knocked hard on the door. "You can't just stay inside of Captain's room!!"

"Rami?"

"Hmp?!" The squirrel spun his entire body around in a panic, flinching as he saw all three men staring at him with bewildered looks. "Oh.. h-hi Captain!"

"Rami," Hongjoong repeated as he stepped down the hall. "What is going on?"

"Nothing!" The doll denied, "every- everything is fine!"

The man walked up to his shut bedroom, bringing a hand to the knob. Although they all knew how to close doors, none of them quite understood how to lock them. It opened easily with a click. Bringing it wide open, the room appeared nearly vacant.
Except for a black kitten, curled up on the middle of the floor.

"Wooyonyang?"

The kitten's eyes widened, and he sprung up at once. "No! Get away from me!!"

Hongjoong lost his breath as the feline darted past him, running out of the door and away from them both. What Yonyang didn't expect was to meet more people down the end of the hall.

"Yonyang?" Seonghwa made him freeze in his tracks. "What's wrong baby?"

The lights made his pupils dilate, shining with visible tears. He must have seen them clear as day.

"Go away!!" Yang mewled hastily. The kitten ran right past his tall legs.

"Yang ah what are you doing??" Wooyoung crouched himself down, scooping his doll up before he escaped. Unfortunately, Yonyang couldn't get himself out of that.

"Let me go!!" The cat whined, pushing his paws against his owner's chest. "Let go of me before I curse you!!"

"Curse me-?" Wooyoung held his chin to the air, simply dodging panicked claws. "What on earth are you talking about? Why were you in Hongjoong's room??"

"Because! Be-because-"

Jjoongrami hurried himself over to the two, behind him his own human. Seonghwa brought himself in closer as well, eyes caught in alarm by the upset doll. Having everyone close in on him now, Yonyang's emotions slipped out of control again.

"Because everyone thinks I'm bad luck!!!"

The cat burst into tears, claws falling off from a big chest to paw at his wet eyes. "Every- everyone s-says I'll hurt them! So- so stay away from me!!" He cried ever harder.
Wooyoung's face fell with shock. He shakily took a look at Seonghwa, who seemed just as startled as himself.

"...What are you talking about," the blond lowered his voice, bringing his other hand up to comfort his kitten. "Why would they say that about you?"

"The little ones? Why would they?" Seonghwa questioned under his breath as well.

"Did something happen while we were gone?" Hongjoong lowered his head, "Rami?"

The small squirrel fiddled with his paws nervously, chewing on his bottom lip too. His eyes were heavy with guilt, falling to his feet.
"We- we all watched a movie," he began in a feeble voice, "it had a black cat in it. It was bringing bad luck to everyone who walked by, so..."

"So they think he's bad luck?" Wooyoung filled in his silence, to which Jjoongrami only nodded. "So that's why they acted like that this morning," the blond sighed.

"Like what?" Seonghwa questioned.

"No one was eating their breakfast," Wooyoung switched his eye contact to the older one. "And Bbyongming said something about hurting them."

"Oh gosh.." Seonghwa's face fell, "Ddeongbyeol seemed upset last night too... is that why he wouldn't eat either?"

"I- I picked the movie," Jjoongrami admitted, saddened eyes facing up to Yang. "I didn't know it was going to cause this. I'm sorry Yangie.." his brows were upturned, "this is my fault."

Wooyonyang sniffled, wiping away his remaining tears. "I.. I forgive you," he mewled. The upset pout on their captain's face did not leave however.

"Is this over your movie night you told me about?" Hongjoong questioned, to which his doll nodded.

"I- I didn't think it'd make a fight..." The squirrel whimpered. His tail was curled forward as well, and his paws continued fidgeting anxiously.

From his behavior, Hongjoong could tell the small captain must have felt helpless.
"You know what you should do when you fight with your friends, right?"

Jjoongrami tilted his head up to his owner. "What.. do I do?"

"You apologize," Hongjoong squatted down, getting to his critter's eye level. "You already said sorry to him, so shouldn't everyone else?" He brought his hand to the doll's head, petting orange fur. "That's how you make up."

Jjoongrami swallowed. His eyes shook as they looked at Hongjoong, then diverted to Yonyang.

"Spoken like a leader," Wooyoung scoffed. "We should go do that then. Would it make you feel better Yangie?"

The black cat thought about it, before nodding.

"Okay," Jjoongrami agreed, "I'll make everyone apologize!" He declared firmly, before looking at his owner. "Thank you Captain!"

Hongjoong smiled softly before rising to his feet. "You guys have fun. I need a shower." His hair and clothes were still rather damp.

"Alright, let's go," Seonghwa picked the other doll up, holding Rami well with both hands. His lips quietly formed two small words before Hongjoong shut away into their bathroom. 'Thank you.'

Entering the play room, they expected it to be quiet, yet it was almost as if nothing happened. A few critters laid here and there, chattering away and keeping the bubbly energy of their area alive. Almost no one paid attention to the door opening. Seonghwa bent slightly over, placing the doll down on their carpet floor. Jjoongrami chewed on his lips once lowered. His eyes ran all over, wondering how he'd make anyone apologize.

"Go on," Seonghwa gently encouraged him however, and it was enough for the small captain to speak up.

"Attention! Attention!!"

At the harsh squeaks that circled their room, a couple voices quieted down, before the entire room went silent. Jjoongrami felt his heart skip as eyes looked at them, but more specifically Wooyonyang. He even caught Byeoli scrunching.

"Uhm, w-well," he tried not to fiddle his paws, and keep his high pitched voice assertive. "There's been a bit of a problem since this morning, and it's because of what happened last night!"

Jjongbear brought a paw to his lips, tilting his head. Bbyongming narrowed his eyes.

"Last night we all saw a movie about a cat, and the cat got into some trouble, but!" His paws raised up, "that cat is not trouble!"

Yonyang blinked. Tyudeongi looked between him, Seonghwa, and Wooyoung who held him.

"Although he's a black cat too, Yangie is nothing like the cat in the movie!" Jjoongrami continued, "he's very sweet! And we must remember it was only a movie, which means it's fake!!"

Sandeoki lowered his head, letting out a soft, guilty meow. Ddeongbyeoli pouted, slowly blinking as well.

"And it's not fair to judge someone based off their color, right?" Wooyoung's voice came louder and deeper.

"Y-yes..." The room circulated with shy mutters.

"Also, if Yonyang really was bad luck," Seonghwa extended his arms, reaching over to Wooyoung's ones.

"Eep!" Byeoli gasped, squealing hard as his owner took the black cat into his grasp.

"Wouldn't something bad happen to us?" He carried Yang, petting down his soft fur. "Did anything happen, Wooyoung?"

Said man shook his head, "nothing at all."

Yonyang purred, bumping his head into Seonghwa's chest with contentment.

Hetmongi stared, slight awe filling his features. The rest of the room filled with awe too, and a few heads turned to one another, whispering about. Ddeongbyeol especially couldn't remove his eyes, but his cheeks heated up with embarrassment.

"Like Wooyoung said," the eldest member spoke, "it's not fair to judge your friend because of how different he is. You all should know better than to leave someone out or tease them because of how they look. You wouldn't like that either, would you Byeol ah?"

The bunny squeaked in surprise, eyes widening. "Um- n-no Seonghwa..."

"And," Said male looked down by his feet, "as Jjoongrami said, it was only a movie. You all know better than to believe a movie!"

The critters looked here and there, avoiding eyes in humiliation.

"Mhm," Rami nodded in agreement, but was more thankful their human backed him up. "We didn't treat Yangie fairly at all today. So, I say we all say sorry to him! Starting with me!"
He tilted his head up high, looking at the feline in Seonghwa's arms. "I'm sorry Wooyonyang, I should have stood up for you!"

Although he already apologized prior, Yonyang's eyes glowed subtly. Soon after, he was lowered from arms, brought down to the floor. Standing just a foot away from Rami, the squirrel stepped himself in closer.

He wrapped paws tight over Yangie's furry body. Several gasps filled the room, but his hug remained firm. Backing away, the captain turned to look at everyone once more.
"See? I'm fine. Now who's next?"

It was a fascinating demonstration. The critters eyed one another, whispering to each other again. Wooyonyang peered all over the room, and for a moment, the looks of disgust he received all morning returned to his thoughts.

It disappeared however as another set of paws suddenly wrapped over him, hugging him again.
"I'm sorry Yangie," Hetmongi was the first brave critter to step towards him, tail wagging as he buried his face over his best friend's shoulder. "I shouldn't have been mean to you."

"Meow!" Sandeoki hopped down from his tower, bouncing over to the doorway as well. "I'm sorry for avoiding you today Yangie," He nudged his head against his friend, before joining in with another hug.

Jjongbear pouted, being the next to jump up and make his way over. "I'm- I'm also sorry!"

Tyudeongi couldn't take the guilt either, and walked over to the black kitten. "Me too..." He hugged him on his left side.

Bbyongming chirped in surprise, but hurried to join as well, hugging Yangie on his right side.

Ddeongbyeol shifted anxiously in his seat, eyes shifting up to his human with a frown. They exchanged back to the group of critters, to the specific cat he knew he laughed and played with well many times before. He was the final one to hop down, and hurry over to his long time best friend.

"We're sorry Wooyonyang!!"

Fluffy bodies all joined together, cuddling him in a tight group hug. Yangie giggled as he felt a lick at his cheek, a head rub against his own. All of the love he received now was enough to make his chest light, and his smile curl up bright.

"We made up now?" Wooyoung's voice came from above.

"Mhm!" The feline answered with his signature cheerful meow.

"Not so fast!"

Another sudden voice caught attention. Seven heads turned to look at Jjoongrami.

"There's one more thing I think we can do!" He brought up, beady eyes focused right into the midst of the group hug. "Yang, you said you knew a good movie?"

October 31st, exactly 11:10 pm.

After a bit of a chat, Seonghwa agreed to Rami's pleas. The critters finished dinner before returning with quick feet to their communal room.

"Popcorn?"

"Ready!"

"Blankets!!"

"Right here!"

"Are all the seats ready?"

Jjongbear dragged over the last beanbag. It was Wooyonyang's red one, placed perfectly in the middle. "Yes captain!"

Jjoongrami darted his eyes around the room. Ddeongbyeol bounced on over with a basket of chocolates, and Sandeoki brought the table to place them on top of.
Behind him was Yangie, who was working on the mini iPad.

"Did you find it?" The squirrel asked eagerly.

"Yep!" He seemed pleased as a paw maximized the video.

"Lights!!" The captain squeaked.

Tyudeongi, their largest doll, shut them off at once. The room dimmed, only illuminated by the iPad's blue screen. As he and Yonyang made it into their seats, all marbled eyes focused on one small critter.

"Attention! Attention everyone!!" Jjoongrami waved his paws about. "Tonight is officially Aniteez Halloween movie night!"

The room uproared in squeaky cheers and excited squeals, paws waving all over.

"Yang here has picked a spooky movie for us to watch!" He brought a paw to the screen which held it displayed. "Is everyone ready for a thrilling, spooky night?"

"Yes captain!!!"

"Good!" A bubbly smile rose on Rami's white cheeks. He looked upon Yonyang in the middle, and the two shared eye contact for a moment. The black cat held a warm smile at him, eyes lit up as he held a puffed piece of popcorn.
There was a thankful expression in his features.

"Now, let's begin!"
