“Still remember why I’ve assigned you to partner up with Mei?”, Himeko asked as they were all on a mission. “Uhm… Because we are soulmates with a special connection?”, Kiana cleverly replied, “…Be serious, Kiana”... and this was how it went every time.
Everyone knew Kiana had a thing for Mei and she made it known to everyone. It would be surprising if anyone in St. Freya didn’t know about her undying love for the mauveine-haired girl she would always hug whenever she had the occasion.
“Mei, I missed you so much! Where have you been???”, Kiana ran up, fake crying of course, to Mei and tackled her with a hug that made them both fall down.
“I was just at the library, didn’t you receive my text?”, Mei was between facepalming and returning the hug, seemingly not caring about both of them being on the ground (and people were watching wondering what in the everloving fuck happened).
“Wait… You sent me a text? Let me check it out now!.... Yeah, you did but I still missed you…”, Kiana did not get off Mei, she was still on top of her.
“It’s only been a few minutes we were separated from each other, Kiana”, Mei stood up, holding Kiana’s hand to get her up as well.
Kiana went back to hugging her as soon as they got up, Mei naturally returned the hug. “A few minutes too much, Mei, what would I do without you?!!”, Kiana went back to fake crying, again, she however stopped after her stomach growled for food.
“Hungry again?”, Mei was used to Kiana’s shenanigans and most definitely didn’t trust her with cooking, hence why she cooks for both of them. Mei brought food with her in case Kiana was hungry, she gave it to Kiana.
“You’re the best, Mei, oh I love you, I love love love love LOVE YOU!!”, Kiana shouted before eating the fried chicken Mei prepared for her.
“I love you too, Kiana, I always will.”, Mei silently uttered, giving a discreet kiss on the head to her soulmate.
Nothing could ever break the bond they held.
