“Lets hurry up and seal this fountain.” Susie said. She was nagging me. I almost had my special moment. The Dark Fountain glows, blue and all other colours. After me and Susie returned to the Light World, we saw that it was pouring.
“Aww shit man! What the hell are we gonna do now?” Susie says.
“I mean, you can walk me home if you want to.” I say. Earlier, when we entered the Dark Sanctuary after church, the house door was locked. I dont understand how that could’ve happened. I checked under the doormat for the key, and it wasnt there. Mom was probably at Choir Practice, and probably didnt want anyone to break in.
“Sure. I can walk you home.” Susie says. I walk with her in the pouring rain, as the water drips from each roof in town. I can’t stop thinking about what happened before i left the Dark World. The hug Ralsei gave me, and us talking it out…I mean it was amazing. The whole thing got my mind out of the Knight situation.
“So, what were you and Ralsei doing back there? I was waiting for you.” Susie says.
“Nothing. Just talking.” I mutter quietly to Susie. Im pretty sure that shes oblivious to me lying straight in her face.
“Alright, Kris. Whatever you say.” Susie says. I cant stop lying about my feelings. I have to, but I cant. The moment i fell in love with Ralsei, was when him and Susie came to save me when Spamton was trying to kill me in Queen’s basement. I loved him from that moment on.
“Hey LOSER! Snap out of your mind, we’re here!” Susie says. God damn it, I was overthinking again. I can hear…music from the inside of my house? And the door is…open? Whats going on in there?
I open the door, and Susie steps forward.
“MY MOM IS DRUNKENLY DANCING WITH SANS?” My mind says. Sans, the middle aged Shopkeeper around the corner, is dancing with MY MOM.
“Kris Honey! Snoozie! Welcome! Theres some pancakes for you in the fridge!” My mom says before she falls over on the floor.
“I think im gonna go.” Susie says. I put my head down in disappointment and disgust and walk up to my bedroom. Before I go to sleep, i look at the photo that Susie gave me with Me and Ralsei together. I lay it down next to me. and I tuck myself in. Only if he was in my world, i would be happy. But only in another universe.
