If you told Mafuyu from a year ago that Kamiyama and Miyamasuzaka would combine due to financial reasons, the Vocaloids managing to find a way to manifest into physical forms after she found out that her friends also have Vocaloids, and that Ichika Hoshino, Vivid Bad Squad, Wonderland x Showtime, and Nightcord at 25:00 hang out almost every single day, she would probably ask if this was a joke she didn't get, but right now…that was her strange reality.
"Nee-san, did Kaito tell you what these weird necklaces are for?" Rui asked his sister before she made an excuse to leave. It wasn’t like she didn't love him, but for some odd reason, she was always doing something mysterious. "Ah, he didn't. We could gather the rest of the gang during lunch time to ask him though!" Mafuyu stated as she left, An started referring to the 13 people group as the gang. A while ago the name slowly started spreading to everyone else and now that’s just how it was. "As smart as always! See you after class, uyu-kun! " Mafuyu waved goodbye to her, discreetly rolling her eyes at the nickname.
Ever since Mafuyu started hanging out with the rest of the gang, she started feeling more human. She still didn’t fully feel complete but it was more than she thought she could ever achieve. She noticed a small group of people gathering around a piece of paper. Mafuyu walked closer, the people around her clearing a path for her as if by default. It was something she didn't even bother to bring up. Everyone and their mother knew Mafuyu was smart, beautiful and had the nickname Kami-miya's Queen for good reason.

The crowd around her praised her smarts for getting full points again. They all had the exact same scores as last exam and yet no one has noticed, though if Ena was here she would have said that they’re all idiots for not noticing. "Thank you all for your nice words! We should all start getting to class soon though, it's about to start soon!" Mafuyu hates using her 'nice voice' but she couldn't risk losing all that she worked for. As she made her way to her class she couldn't help but feel like she just opened a new book and was reading the first chapter.
"Hello miss, what is your name?"
When she opened the door to her class, she was met with the sight of Kaito in his human form, standing at the teacher's podium.
"Asahina Mafuyu, sir." Mafuyu plays along, if she was good at anything it was acting her part, Kaito often helped her with plans and strategies to market N25 and they’re now the most famous group in Japan, even if they were still anonymous.
"Good. Call me Mr. K."
Mafuyu simply nods politely and walks to her seat next to the window. Since Miyamasuzaka and Kamiyama combined, the only land big enough was near the beach side. Mafuyu pondered about what N25's next song was going to be until her thoughts were cut short by the bell.
"Hello class, as you know I am Mr. K," He gestures to the board with the words 'Mr. K' written on it. "Your old teacher no longer works here anymore so I have taken her place. Any questions..?" After the introduction it was immediately obvious to Mafuyu that Kaito didn't know what he was talking about. Mafuyu looked over at Ena, who sat next to her. It was clear that she also noticed Kaito was not good at this subject or even teaching in general.
'Did Luka teach him this an hour ago? I expected him to be better than this…' Ena signed in JSL.
'I can't tell if Kaito's doing this on purpose and it's a part of a plan. He’s always scheming.' Mafuyu signed back.
'So that's where you got it from!'
'Your more mischievous than me...'
Class ended with Mafuyu and Ena coming to a stale mate in the argument.
"Mr. K, could we talk with you on the roof?"
Rui said as he poked his head in through the doorway. "It's not like I have anything better to do." Kaito shrugged as he started towards the door.
"You could plan our next lesson," Ena argues,
"Or explore the school for any secret passageways or exits in case of emergency!" Mafuyu added, "Let's just go.”
Once they arrived it was the usual scenes; Akito arguing with Nene over something miscellaneous, Mizuki encouraging it, Toya trying to defuse the situation, Emu accidentally escalating it, and the rest are pretending it's not happening, or rather used to the chaos.
Mafuyu clears her throat and startles everyone, earning her everyone’s attention.
"Sorry about that! Akito was just being an idiot again!" Nene says politely to the newly arrived group.
"Anyways-" Rui says before Akito can start a fight again, "We came here to ask you a question." Mafuyu says, finishing Rui’s sentence, sitting next to Kanade.
"How did you get over here that fast?" Emu questions, a little confused.
"I’ve been here for quite awhile, I'm shocked none of you noticed."
"What is the purpose of the necklaces?"
Ichika was one of the only ones actually interested in the original purpose of this meeting. "Oh, Miku said that the necklaces could give you all powers and immorality." Everyone froze in dumbfounded confusion and shock "Is this a…a prank? That sounds like the plot to a WxS show..." Kohane pipes up first.
"Why would we be joking?"
Miku pops out from the doorway, Meiji following behind.
“Though… I wish Kaito was less blunt about it, these necklaces are able to grant you the power of immortality and you all get unique powers as well!”
“Not that I'm complaining about powers, but why would we need them? We’re normal high schoolers.” Ena adds.
“Well, only if you don’t count the fact that we’re the top artists in Japan, and the fact that we can enter special dimensions that were literally crafted from feelings, then yeah, we’re definitely normal high school students.” Akito snarkily replies.
“We were trying to keep this a secret but you all might be in big trouble if we don't act soon. it could endanger Japan and possibly all of the world…” Luka states as she walks through the door.
“…how many people are behind that door..?” Kanade whispers dumbfoundedly to herself.
“Since there are so many of you, it would be hard to train you all at once, especially since we will need you all to be able to be different. Some will be learning defense, some will be learning how to heal, some will- well, you get the point…” Rin says as she walks in as well, adding to the count.
“So you will be divided into different groups.” Len says, following Rin through.
“Akito, Mafuyu, Emu will be with Kaito, Toya, Kanade, Nene will be with Luka, An, Ena, Tsukasa will be with Meiko, Kohane, Mizuki, Rui will be with Rin and Len!” Miku announces excitedly.
“Why am I not in a group?” Ichika pipes up nervously.
“Since you're a more recent addition to the group, you will be working with me, one on one!” Miku shoots Ichika a wide smile and a thumbs up.
“What an honor!” Ichika smiles back just as wide.
“So with that established, it should be known that the more we teach you, the more jewels holding power you will find.”
