Dot has been having trouble keeping herself in check recently.
In the past, she'd always felt like she had complete control over her own thoughts and emotions. She knew how to get things done quickly and efficiently without getting distracted. Nowadays though, she's been finding herself getting distracted by something very often. Or more like someone.
While Dot was supposed to be working on a project for her tera training, she kept finding herself continuously staring at her friend Liko, who was currently playing with their group's Pokémon. The blue haired girl was smiling ear to ear and was clearly having a great time. Seeing the other girl's bright smile and happy giggles was enough to send Dot’s heart into overdrive though, and she could feel her face warm up a bit from the sight.
Dot knew she had a massive crush on Liko. Over time, Dot found herself wanting to be the one to make Liko smile and giggle the way she was now. Dot also found herself wanting to stay by Liko’s side as much as possible. She wanted to be able to take Liko’s hand in hers and never let go, or to even just give Liko a hug and feel her warmth.
As of now, Dot kind of wished Liko would come over and sit next to her while she worked on her project. Liko didn’t really have to do much, but Dot just really wished to have the other girl's presence at the moment. Dot knew she couldn’t exactly call Liko over and have her stay without any real reason though. It would just seem pretty weird. So Dot resorted to admiring Liko from afar.
Continuing to watch Liko play with the other Pokémon was still mesmerizing at least. Dot loved just how gentle Liko played with the smaller Pokémon like Hattena and Tinkatink. Liko always showed so much compassion and care for anyone she interacted with, and it was one of Dot’s favorite things about her. Dot really wished that she could someday be the center of that care.
Soon enough tho, Liko ended up looking in Dot’s direction, and their eyes met. Dot felt even more heat rush to her face as she knew she just got caught staring. However, it seemed Liko might not have known Dot was staring as she simply gave Dot a smile and a small wave. Dot gave a small wave in return before quickly returning focus to her project in front of her. Arceus why did she have to be such a mess.

Liko was having a lot of fun.
She was currently playing with her group's Pokémon and having an amazing time. She loved each one of them like they were family and absolutely loved spending quality time with them like this. However, she has been finding her mind drifting towards wanting to be near a certain person a lot more recently.
Liko has been wanting to spend a lot more time with Dot recently, and Liko’s very certain it's because of the crush she has on the other girl. Liko’s noticed this feeling happening more and more often the past few weeks, and it’s often been causing her to become more and more distracted as a result.
Liko chose to take her focus off of the Pokémon for a moment to look at Dot, who was working on her tera training project, and what she saw made Liko’s heart skip a beat. It would seem that Dot was already looking at her, and so their eyes ended up meeting. Liko's mind was starting to race, but she kept her cool long enough to give Dot a smile and a small wave. Dot returned the small wave before returning to her work, and Liko’s mind finally started to spiral out of control, as heat began to rapidly rise to her face.
Was Dot watching her? No, that couldn’t be. She had to have just been watching the Pokémon and happened to have glanced at Liko at the same time Liko glanced at Dot. Ultimately though, Liko really wished that Dot had been watching her. Liko has been wanting a lot more of Dot’s attention recently. She knew that sounded a bit selfish of her, but she couldn't seem to help it.
A lot of the time, Liko wished that she could take Dot’s hand in her own, or even just wrap her arms around the smaller girl's body in a hug to share her warmth. At this moment, Liko really wanted to go and sit next to Dot and just be next to her. Liko has always admired just how smart Dot was, so just being able to watch Dot do her things was always such a joy.
Liko really wished that Dot would just call her over, so she didn’t have to work up the courage to go sit next to Dot herself. She knew that without a reason it would likely just end up being awkward, and Liko really didn’t want to make Dot uncomfortable. In the end Liko chose to go back to playing with the Pokémon. Arceus why did she have to be like this.
