Chapter Text
Tomori's hands were shaking, she had an unexpected given to her by a senior artist for her. A painting covered in cloth, but it is simply no mere painting. This painting contains a figure so graceful and ethereal it would feel almost sinful to look away. As she took of the cloth on the canvas, she noticed something very off. The other artists have described this painting in a dignified and polished manner, where once you laid your eyes to it you would see a blue haired girl with a Gladioli flower on her head.
Yet once Tomori took a look at the painting, there was no semblance of that beautiful, elegant girl she was supposed to see. All that she could see in the canvas is mass black paint, attempting to ressemble a human. She stared at it intently, as if trying to discern if the painting was real or not.
Deciding that the painting was truly in a horrid state after looking at it in a few seconds Tomori let out a sigh of disappointment after realizing the state of the painting. She gets to her table and noticed that there was a letter that was sent to her, along with that painting. She opens the letter which read:
"To the next painter, reading this What you are seeing right now, that painting however filthy it may be is the one that is The Girl with the Flower. Let it be known that she yearns to be completed, yet she executes those who get even the smallest of details wrong. All I can offer you now are prayers and best wishes of luck."
As she finished reading the letter, claw marks suddenly appears on her body. Tomori, trying to hold her body, tries to open the door and call for help. However as she looks away, a voice calls to her.
"Are you the next artist?"
Tomori looks back in horror. What once was an indistinguishable painting now sees the form of a monochrome girl in a dress with a flower on top of her head.
"I wonder if you can paint. Paint this picture.... Paint the real me."
Tomori passed out.
