It’s Joya no Kane, New Year’s Eve. Across Japan, temples ring their bells a hundred and eight times to cleanse human sin. Snow covers the ground, incense smoke drifts through the air and every bell toll echoes across mountains and villages.
But while humans seek purification…demons are restless.
The sound is agony to them, a reminder of what they’ve lost, what they cannot return to.
Each story follows a different encounter on the same night.
