Chapter 1: March 2nd 20XX

Chapter Text

Pangi entered the door to their flat first, holding the door open for Lukey to trail in afterwards, hands full with 2 large suitcases and his backpack. They'd just gotten back from the hour long flight back from Italy for Lukey's latest directing role (where Pangi, as always, played Personal Assistant and vlogger), and both men were exhausted. It turned out that "power couple" fantasy they had joked about all those years ago was hard work.

Once Lukey had made the short trip to their bedroom, he laid the first suitcase down on the floor and knelt before it. Meanwhile, Pangi flopped onto the king size bed beside him, with a small groan, eyes tracing Lukey's profile as his lover worked to begin unpacking.

Feeling the eyes upon him, Lukey spoke up, "You could help me, y'know. I am unpacking your stuff."

"Our stuff." Pangi corrected fondly.

Lukey rolled his eyes, grin betraying his true feelings on the matter, "Okay, our stuff. Doesn't mean you can't help me."

"Mm-mm" Pangi whined petulantly.

Lukey turned to face Pangi to force him to help out but-

Whoa…

The second the two locked eyes, Lukey was stun-locked. Lost admiring his boyfriend, unable to force himself to make a move, not that he really wanted to. Drinking him in, eyes dancing around his face. A blush crept up his cheeks, something he'd never been good at controlling. He feared he was fucked the second brown eyes found brown eyes. He was almost certainly doubly fucked the second his eyes flickered down, reminding himself that they hadn't shaved before they got on the flight (not that he minded, but Pangi certainly did). And he was well and truly triply fucked when he watched at the corners of Pangi's mouth quirked up into that stupid smirk Lukey loved so dearly (almost as much as the rare occasion he'd smile with teeth).

So maybe it wasn't gravity pulling Lukey in when lips crashed into lips.

This happened sometimes, as much as Lukey loathed to admit it, feeling like a teenager with a crush whenever it occurred. He'd look at his boyfriend and be brought back to the first day they met in real life, the moment he realised 'Fuck, maybe all that chemistry on The Realm actually meant something'. It almost always ended in the same way - the way he wished that first night had ended, and every night after until he'd finally worked up the courage to make a move on their last morning sharing a bed at the end of that very same trip.

The kiss itself was slow and sweet. Perfect, as always. Lips moving against each other in a way that was practiced but never boring. Lukey was sure they could do this forever, really. Kissing Pangi was an addiction he would willingly let ruin his life, and maybe it already had. At this point, he could barely remember why he'd turned to face Pangi in the first place, thoughts overwhelmed with the sensation of Pangi and craving more. His left hand found its way to Pangi's cheek, the right resting on his shoulder in an attempt to bring them closer. Luckily, Pangi seemed to catch the memo, hands reaching Lukey's back to give him the leverage needed to sit up, drag Lukey onto the bed and into his lap.

After what felt like forever, they finally parted and Lukey once again went back to admiring his lover, now with the bonus of seeing the dazed expression he always had when he'd been successfully flustered, with his lips kiss-swollen and eyes blinking slowly. Once he finally seemed to break out of this trance, Pangi's hand found Lukey's on his cheeks, interlacing their fingers and bringing it down between them. Lukey watched silently and carefully as Pangi fiddled with the ring on Lukey's middle finger, twisting it around intently.

"Hey!" Lukey complained, tone soft, removing all bite from what he was saying, "You can't do that when you make fun of how much I fiddle with it."

Gaze still intently fixed on their fingers, Pangi wordlessly slid the ring from Lukey's middle finger to his ring finger.

Returning his view to Lukey's face, he explained, "I think it looks better there."

"Is that a proposal, mister? I was expecting something more flashy."

"Not yet." Pangi decided, uttering it like a promise, "But it does look good on you, not gonna lie… Maybe one day."

"Well you better hurry up!" Lukey snorted, "I'll be needing that EU passport soon."

After over a year of arguing about who was going to move in with who, Lukey had finally forced Pangi to find a place with him in Brighton, with an agreement that eventually they'd move to the Netherlands together and settle there. His family had thrown a fit when they'd found out that all his traveling had amounted to him moving out the country. Fortunately enough for one of them, Pangi had endeared himself enough with them to not receive the brunt of their annoyance. Lucky bastard.

It was almost a year until they would reach the agreed date to go the the Netherlands and Lukey couldn't help but be a bit nervous. His Dutch had definitely improved, what with all the time he'd spent around Pangi, and all the conversations he'd had with Pangi's sister. However, the words that were best retained weren't necessarily the most useful and more so the ones said in the more memorable moments, whether that be a fit of anger or whispered like a prayer in their bedroom. Sweet? Yes. Practical? Unfortunately not. Pangi had reassured him, whenever he voiced his concerns, that it didn't really matter and he'd be fine. The perfectionist in him really wanted to protest this, but the part of him that felt and warm and floaty at Pangi's mere presence in his life wanted to ignore all the spiraling and take his every word as gospel.

"We have to pick up the dog from Aimee's later." Pangi mentioned, snapping Lukey from his thoughts and breaking their comfortable silence.

"We do!" Lukey smiled, "But, first, you have to help me pack sir!"

Chapter 2: The next day...

Notes:

VITAL AUTHORS NOTE: please picture Pangi in his slutty glasses for the entirety of this chapter. I just think it adds to the vibe (or maybe watching Pangi's alt stream rn has got me in some typa mood)

Chapter Text

"So, tomorrow we do the anniversary stream on your channel." Lukey reminded, tapping away at his Mac book from the dining table.

This was the rhythm he kept when he was responding to business e-mails, Pangi noted mentally. It was one of the many small habits Pangi had memorised and kept locked up in his brain, knowing if Lukey ever found out he'd been paying that much attention he wouldn't hear the end of it for at least a month.

Pangi looked up from the dishes he was washing, laughing to himself, "That's a crazy return stream."

"It's not my fault!"

"It literally is. You're the one who always says our 'anniversary' stream has to be A Movie." Pangi rebutted fondly, "One of these years we're going to get arrested for giving all our viewers heart attacks."

"But, am I wrong?" Lukey asked with a grin, standing up from his chair.

Their dog, a husky, who had been resting in his bed in the corner of the room, perked up at the sudden movement, following Lukey as he made his way to stand behind Pangi, choosing this as the perfect opportunity to walk between his legs, no matter how much of a nuisance that made him.

Pangi agreed quietly, "It is fun..."

Lukey wrapped his arms around Pangi's waist, resting his head on Pangi's shoulder. The dog contentedly flopped back down on the floor beside where the two men stood.

"Any ideas on how to one-up last year?"

And then, like the evil, evil man he is, Lukey pressed a kiss to Pangi's shoulder through the fabric of his sweater. And then another. And then another. It quickly became apparent he was working his way up to the neckline and had no plans of stopping when he reached it. How was Pangi supposed to wash dishes, let alone answer questions, when his very attractive lover was being so distracting?

When Lukey finally reached Pangi's jawline, he seemed to finally consider it a job done, not really considering the flustered man on the receiving end of his kisses. Tease.

Pangi took a moment after that. Not because a couple kisses, not even to his mouth, had rendered him a speechless mess, so bad he couldn't think straight (not that he'd been thinking straight at any point in the many years since he'd met Lukey). Not at all. That'd never happen to Pangi!

No, the reason he was silent in the moments after was simply to bathe in the happiness that was him and Lukey. To appreciate how both physically and mentally they slotted together perfectly and allow himself to just feel the shared body heat, a much better way to warm up than the shitty inconsistent heating in their flat. He really did want to be with Lukey for the rest of his life, if he could. Then again, he supposed he realised that years ago, and probably knew it in his bones even longer.

It was a shame they couldn't share this euphoria publicly, he thought. Its funny, back when they'd first gotten together, Pangi would have done anything to keep their relationship a secret. He was still figuring out the whole liking-men thing, back then, and he got lucky that Lukey was willing to wait for him. The whirlwind of confusion and anxiety it had bought upon him (in an already stressful time in his life) was an embarrassing experience he was desperate to hide away, as hard as it was when their friends and chat were breathing down their necks with "ha ha, gay!" jokes.

Eventually, though, he found his footing, everything calmed down, and the idea of being in a gay relationship himself no longer formed a pit in his stomach. Everything settled, but they'd been hiding for so long that the idea that Pangkey being Real was too big of a deal for a casual hard launch, or at least that's what Lukey had convinced him. So, they kept it all hidden. All the sweet moments and the domestic joy, saved for them and them only.

Finally, amidst all his thoughts, Pangi found a stream idea.

"How about a baking stream?" Pangi suggested, "We haven't done one in a while and I'm craving something sweet."

"Greedy…" Lukey silently giggled over his shoulder, "How do you know you're not already getting a treat tonight?" He paused and then added, "But, we can do baking! Pick some cringe Valentines recipe online and get the ingredients tomorrow? Sure!"

"I swear if you go all hamster and get flour everywhere again, I'll actually kill you." Pangi threatened, splashing the water in front of him.

"You'd never." Lukey beamed, and Pangi could feel the shake of his head, "Besides, you'll be too distracted by the fact I'm dedicating my cupcake to my handsome 6 foot bf."

"Twitter's actually going to go insane again." Pangi laughed, before quietly adding, "You know, we have to tell them at some point."

Lukey beamed, pressing a kiss to his cheek, "I know, I know. Maybe one day soon. By next year, at least. By the time we're in the Netherlands, I don't know if I'll be able to hide it anymore."

"We just need to come up with a plan…"

Notes:

It turns out writing genres and tropes you love is an amazing motivator. That being said, don't expect anything crazy out of chapter 2, its just more cutesy fluff lmao. Wanna discuss more sappy Pangkey bullshit? Come send me shit on my tumblr at itsbebebrainrotting !
