Summary
Felix knows he's different from Chan's friends. He doesn't laugh at the right moments, doesn't understand their history, can't shake the feeling that he's always performing. But none of that matters as long as Chan wants him there.
At a remote lake house, miles from anyone, Felix learns what happens when performance breaks down. When "no" fails to mean anything at all. When violence is the only language left.
