Work Text:
"You didn't say UNO. The last card supposed to be uttered with UNO," Goo pointed at the stack of cards and above, a number 2 red held by Gun.
And why would Gun pull away his red card away? His victory away? Instead, he slammed it on the table, "It's not written in the rule"
The alcohol in the glasses splashed from force.
"I thought we're playing truth or dare" DG interrupted, looking at the ceiling though his dark glasses. He only got two cards for now.
"We're supposed to after we finish but Gun's not playing it right." Goo took the red 2 and tossed it back at Gun.
"You think I don't read the rules? I also read the rule that it's prohibited to be a petty fuck. I won, fair and square." He put it back.
The blonde shook his head, "No, you didn't square nothing Gun. You played fair and fuck the rules."
"I'm not playing this." The blonde tossed all his cards away. "Fucker can't read."
"Perhaps the UNO box was written in korean?" DG put his card down too.
Gun threw his cards on the couch. "I can read korean, Mr. Idol. I'm half korean."
"No wonder you read it with half wit too." Goo retorted.
Before Gun could say something, DG glanced at Goo, "Let's just play truth or dare."
"You and your truth or dare. Can you have more colours in your personality, James? There's more games in this world." Goo shook his head.
DG rolled his eyes, "Name one."
"Truth or dare"
"How original"
"So, what are the rules, here, huh? What could possibly be the consequences of saying truth over dare? Don't get me wrong, I'm afraid I might not be ethical when playing." Gun said, taking the cards back and organzied them into the box. "The fun police, James. They're everywhere where the fun at these days."
Goo rolled his eyes, thumb pointing at Gun as he shook his head at DG. Jesus, get a load of this guy.
"Since it's just the three of us, we take turns choosing truth or dare," DG began, hiding the smile from his face.
"By that, two men can only say truth two times in a row. If they've said two of truths, they gotta say dare." Goo raised a finger.
"Did the movie tell you that?" DG teased him.
"Movie was valid." Goo shrugged. "We don't play this for you to spill your deep darkest secrets. I give two fucks about that."
"It's not built for pussys." Goo added again, waving his hand in the air in a dismissive manner.
"Who's first?" Gun asked.
Goo grinned, "Me."
"What could possibly The Goo Kim choose?"
"Truth."
"Is there a chance you're demonstrating the said pussy, Goo?" DG asked.
Goo clicked his tongue, face growing red from the pride that's been poke fun of, "I'm being strategic."
Gun cocked his head to the side, unsure, "Is there even a fun truth question? What's even a fun truth question?" Gun frowned in confusion.
Silence. Pondering. The air-conditioner starts to cough the ice at this point. The night couldn't die this early. It mustn't.
"If you're not working with Charles Choi, what normal job would you take?" DG voiced out after a moment.
"The very impact of your question has the same force as when teachers asked what do you want to be in a kindergarten school." Gun rambled underneath his breath, threw a cup of soju to his throat.
Goo didn't make fun of the question. He processed it, pressed his brows together — and a light bulb enlighten above his head. "A doctor."
"To increase death rate?"
"Shut up. I find it cool. The coats and all." Goo describes, a but stuttering.
"Scientists have coats too."
