We shouldn’t be here, not so soon…
Mary is a ghost, and… I’ll admit, I’m not much better off… but I know that I owe it to you to look after her and George.
I’ll continue the work that you started to save Downton for them, and for your sake I’ll even teach George to play cricket.
Mary will have to find her own way out of the darkness, in her own time. I know that all too well…but I’ll do what I can to help her, as the two of you did for me.
