Brian was sitting on the couch once more, sharpening his katanas. He did this regularly, to keep them as sharp as possible.
Danny walked in and sat down, on queue, Brian stood up and began to walk out.
“Brian, man. Stop avoiding me.”
“[I am not.]”
Brian continued to walk away, before Danny ran up behind him and spun him around by placing a hand on his shoulder.
“Brian, if you don’t tell me what’s wrong I’ll-“
He was cut short by a stab through the side of his stomach, missing vital organs. Brian didn’t want to kill him, but even if he got vital organs, he’d survive anyway.
Brian continued to walk away, retreating to his bedroom with the other katana, one still in Danny’s stomach.
He coughed and sputtered up some blood before removing it, proceeded by the wound healing instantly.
He marched to Brian’s room to open the door and— Ah. It was locked. Danny began to knock.
“Brian, please dude just fuckin’ talk to me!” Danny was starting to tear up.
“[If you do not leave me alone, I will stab you again.]”
Danny sighed and walked to his own room, lying down as he gripped a pillow in a black case, it reminded him of Brian.
He tried to remember what happened the night before. He couldn’t remember anything that would make Brian avoid him.
He squeezed the pillow and took a big sniff of the scent, the detergent he used for his pillows smelled like Brian. This was.. on purpose. He liked the smell of him, it soothed him.
This time, all it did was make him want to cry again.
He sighed shakily as he started to tear up.
