Megan was currently getting ready for her match in her locker room. She was also watching her girlfriend, Toni, on the tv in her room. Toni was currently doing a segment with her current rival, Athena. Megan dislikes Athena for so many reasons but the main one is that Athena actually thinks she can beat Toni. Her girlfriend is no woman to mess around with and that's coming from someone that was pinned by Toni via rollup. “Knock her ass down a peg, star” Megan says under her breath as she watches the screen.
“Watching your girlfriend again?” Penelope asks, causing Megan to look at her. “You know I always do” she answers as she looks back at the screen. “Yeah but I still don't know what you see in her” Penelope says, causing Megan to laugh a bit. “What do you see in Kip?” she asks with a smirk. “Fair but you still haven't answered my question” Penelope says, causing Megan to sigh. “She's my calm, Toni helps me when I go on my rampages” she explains truthfully. “She means a lot to you, doesn't she?” Her friend asks her.
“Penelope if I'm being honest, she's the girl I wanna see when I walk down the aisle” Megan explains with a smile. “That's sweet coming from you” Penelope says jokingly. “Am I really that emotionless?” Megan asks with a laugh. “I mean… you stay silent the first month you debuted here” Penelope points out, laughing when Megan lightly pushes her. When Megan looks back at the screen though, her happiness turns into worry. “Oh fuck” she says, which catches her tag partner's attention. “Oh my god” Penelope says, clearly shocked at what she's seeing…
Athena and Billie Starkz are currently beating up Toni. The real fear started when Billie put a chair under Toni's head while Athena grabbed. “I know a certain fake goddess is here tonight so Megan Bayne! Come out here before I break your girlfriend's fucking neck!” Athena says with a cruel smile. Megan jumps out of her seat and is about to leave the room when Penelope stops her. “You can't go out there! Tony will be pissed if you go out there and it's not your segment!” She explains worryingly.
“Penny, my girlfriend is about to get her neck snapped! You would do the same fucking thing if Kip was in danger!” Megan explains to her friend. Penelope thinks about for a second before letting out a sigh. “Go save Toni and I'll think of an excuse” she says, Megan nodding in response. She then rushes out of the room and through the entranceway to the ring. “Oh look who decided to show up! Why don't you come a bit closer? We can have a nice chat!” Athena says with a smile. Megan slowly gets into the ring and is face-to-face with the Fallen Goddess.
“Hiya Megan” Athena says with a Cheshire grin. “Leave Toni alone or I will make you bow down” Megan threatens with a glare. “Believe me when I say I want this loser alive at Forbidden Door but that's not why I'm here…” Athena says which confuses Megan. “Then what the fuck do you want from me?” The blonde asks, Athena's smirk growing wider in response. “I want a match from you soon and not just any match… a cage match! To prove once and for all that I'm the better goddess! If you accept, then we'll leave Toni alone and walk away” Athena offers as she crosses an “X” over her chest.
Megan looks over to her unconscious girlfriend and then looks back at Athena. “Deal, now get the hell away from her” She says with a growl. “Wonderful, come on Billie! Let the faker deal with her purse pet” Athena says as she walks out of the ring with Billie in tow. Megan watches them go backstage before checking in on her girlfriend. “Star, are you ok?” She asks her, receiving a groan in response. “I'm gonna bring you to medical, Toni, just hold on!” Megan says but as she's about to get her girlfriend, she's knocked back.
“What the…” she says, clearly in shock. “Hi again!” Billie says with a smile. Before Megan can say anything, Billie handcuffs her to the ring. “Did you really think I'd let you go away and live happily ever after? Guess again bitch” Athena says as she slaps Megan across the face. The blonde tries to break free from the handcuffs but to no avail. “Might as well stop, you got a show to watch!” Billie says excitedly as she grabs Megan's face. Her eyes widen in fear when she sees Athena raise the chair above her head. “TONI! GET UP!” Megan yells out to her girlfriend.
“Sorry blondie but her time is up” Athena says cruelly as she brings the chair down onto Toni's head. Megan let out an ear piercing scream as her girlfriend lay lifeless in front of her. “God, you're dramatic! Now, let's see if this goddess is immortal!” Athena says as she hits Megan with the chair as well, knocking her out cold. Megan wakes up an hour later in the hospital with a worried Penelope by her side. “Oh thank god! I thought you weren't gonna wake up” Penelope says with a sigh of relief. “Why am I in the hospital?” Megan asks in a confused tone.
“You got a minor concussion after Athena hit you with the chair” Penelope explains which makes Megan remember something. “Where's Toni?!?!” She asks as she looks around the room. “She's in another room getting checked on” her friend tells her reassuringly. “She's not in a coma is she?” Megan asks, clearly worried. “No, something is wrong with her neck now please rest! It's best not to stress with a concussion” Penelope explains, causing Megan to sigh. “I failed her Penny, I failed the one woman that I want to spend my life with” she says sadly.
“Don't worry Megan, we'll get them back” Penelope says, which surprises Megan. “We?” She asks her friend curiously. “Fuck yeah! You're my best friend and you both don't deserve that!” Penelope says confidently, causing Megan to laugh. “I don't have a choice do I?” She asks with a smile. “Absolutely not, now go to bed! I'll wake you up if there's any updates on Toni” Penelope promises with a smile. Megan just slowly nods as she goes to sleep. Athena and Billie will pay for what they did to Toni, she'll make sure of it.
