Summary:

I'm no good at descriptions, so just enjoy the story

Chapter 1: Welcome to New York

Chapter Text

Important stuff about the story
-like a lot of my stories, this one takes place where Marvel and DC characters coexist, with the Marvel part having a few 1610 elements like Jessica Drew being a clone of Peter but overall resembles 616.
-Courtney and her family move to New York after her mom got a new job as a nurse, so this story takes place there.
-The JSA, Avengers/Ultimates, Justice League, Titans, and any other Marvel/DC team you could probably think of exist in this universe. A couple of them will appear and others won't, though characters from the teams might appear
-Courtney isn't Stargirl yet (ik she starts off as Star Spangled Kid and then eventually grows into Stargirl but she's gonna start off as Stargirl in my version)
-Miles is just now starting off as Spider-Man. He hasn't gotten an official suit yet, though so he wears a homemade one for now.
-Peter Parker is dead and will probably stay that way. The death of Spider-Man was a great storyline and I think bringing him back like they did was a bad choice in my opinion, since it tainted Peter's sacrifice.
-Both Miles and Courtney and the other teen JSA characters will be attending Brooklyn Visions
-Before Peter died, him, Human Torch, Iceman, Kitty Pryde, Yara Flor, Firestar, Jessica Drew, and Red Arrow (Emiko Queen) were all a part of Titans East but disbanded months before Peter died, due to the superhero Civil War and their battle with The Titans.
-I can only hope that this version turns out to be better than what came before it.

"We're here." Barbara Whitmore says, as she pulls up to the front of her family's Brooklyn apartment. In the backseat, Courtney sighs and grabs her bag, before opening the door and walking up to the front, along with the rest of her family.
"Gotta say, it looked a lot better in the pictures." Pat, Courtney's stepfather says, putting his arm around Barbara's shoulders.
"Our old house was a lot better." Courtney mutters.
"Don't be like that, Courtney. You might actually like it." Barbara says, as Courtney sees a boy around her age at the next door over, talking to who could only assume were his parents. For a moment, they looked at each and made eye contact. The boy gave a small wave and she waved back, before following her family into her apartment.
Later, after unpacking everything from the moving boxes, Courtney sat on her bed, scrolling through social medias. Some news report on the TV played in the background, but she paid no attention. While she scrolled, she saw a number of news article about the recent death of one of New York's most famous heroes, Spider-Man, who died fighting a group of villains that escaped from a high security prison, which kind of freaked Courtney out since villains just could easily break out of incarceration like that. Her thoughts are interrupted when she hears a knock at a door. She turns to see Pat standing at the doorway.
"Liking the new place so far?" Pat asks, leaning against it. Courtney sighs and looks back down at her phone.
"I guess." She mumbles. Pat walks into her room and sits next to her on her bed.
"Look, I know you're not the biggest fan of me and I'm not asking you to be but, could you at least brighten up a little?"
"Why should I? Not like I had a life and friends in Beverly Hills that I was forced to leave behind." Courtney sighs.
"Look, I know you're upset about that but here, you have the opportunity to-
"That's just it, Pat!" Courtney snaps, her eyes glossy. I don't want any new opportunities. I just want my old life back. I don't want to start over in Brooklyn or with you. I was just fine with me and my mom."
Pat sat in silence, taking in what Courtney had just said, trying to pretend like it didn't crush. After a while, he gets up with a deep sigh. Courtney looks up at him, her mouth hanging open, realizing what she just said.
"Right. Well, I guess I shouldn't keep you up too late, since you got school tomorrow and whatnot." He finally speaks.
"Pat, wait-
"I'll see you in the morning, kid." He said, right before leaving the room. Courtney groans, and lies back on her bed, overridden with guilt about what she said. She grabs her phone and opens her socials again, very briefly this time, before closing it out.

Some random club in Brooklyn
Billy Tockman, Lonnie Lincoln, Bruno Mannheim, Tobias Whale, and a few more unnamed crime bosses sat in a circle at a table, further back in the club. The music in the reverberated through the speakers in the background, shaking the table and the drinks on them.
"You didn't invite us here just to listen to terrible club mixes from the 2010s, did you Tockman?" Lonnie asks, nursing a drink in his pale hand.
"Not at all." Billy Tockman answers, leaning forward. "After that mutant tried to drown the city a few months ago, Wilson Fisk was killed by some unknown vigilante that no one has been able to locate, every wannabe mob boss has been crawling out of the woodwork, trying to fill in Fisk's shoes, hoping they can become the next Kingpin of Crime, but they don't have what it takes to run this city. We, however, do."
"Are you going where I think you're going with this?" Tobias Whale asks, with Syonide standing beside his chair.
"I think he is." Bruno answers.
"Think about it, gentlemen. Wilson Fisk was one of the biggest players of the city, but now that he's six feet under, we all have the opportunity to combine our resources, and take Fisk's place." Billy explains.
"I prefer to work alone." Lonnie interjects. "I have enough to deal with already."
"Maybe this will change your mind." Billy suggests, putting a newspaper in the middle of them, with the headline reading "Spider-Man: Back from the dead Or an Imposter?" with a photograph of a much younger, smaller, clearly inexperienced Spider-Man.
"Is this some kind of joke?" Tobias asks with a deadpan, picking it up and closely examining the newspaper.
"If I really wanted to pull your leg Tobias, lying about our most common enemy being back from the dead would be the last way I would do it." Billy reassures Tobias.
"This must be a new guy. Look at the suit." Bruno points out, gesturing towards the seemingly homemade suit.
"So? the creep had a new suit every other week." Lonnie retorts, folding his arms.
"None of them looked like this." Tobias responds.
"If I may." Billy continued, putting his hand up. "Whoever this guy is, he clearly doesn't know what he's doing and that's an advantage for us. With all of our fire power, he won't stand a chance, and, in the end, the city will be up for grabs, with no Titans to stop us."
"I like the sound of that." Bruno says, leaning back with a smirk.
"I don't. How do I know any of my crew would be able to trust anyone here?" Tobias asks. Billy opens his mouth to answer but is inevitably interrupted when the club doors fly open and the brand-new Spider-Man, as seen in the newspaper, is crashes into the wall. Walking in after him is Richard Dragon, one of Billy's bodyguards. The people in the club panic and start to scatter around, looking for a way out. All except for Tobias, Billy, Lonnie, and Bruno.
"Had enough yet, punk?" Richard asks, cracking his knuckles, towering over the smaller figure. Spider-Man gets up and dusts himself off, raising his fists. He's a lot smaller than Dr
"You really gotta work on your supervillain one liners, man." Spider-Man quips, as Richard throws another punch. Spider-Man leaps over Richard, but he swings him around and throws him into a wall again. This time, Spider-Man manages to leap off of the wall and land a clean left hook across Richard's jaw and goes in for another hit, but Richard blocks it, punches him in the gut, and headbutts the ever-loving shit out of him, before throwing him aside. Spider-Man groans, clutching his stomach. Richard grabs Spider-Man and slams him to a wall before pummeling him nonstop, until Billy instructed for him to stop.
"I think he gets the message. Now, get him out of here." Billy instructs. Richard nods and punches Spider-Man one last time, before dragging Spider-Man out of the club and throws him out into the streets. People look down at Spider-Man, some recording him, others just staring at him. Spider-Man gets up, and rushes towards a building. He crawls to the top of it and sits up against a wall. He takes off his mask and sighs.
"Gotta get a new suit. And, maybe some web shooters." he mutters to himself.

The next day, Courtney had gotten up a bit earlier than she was used to, since the classes at Brooklyn Visions started sooner. After getting dressed and eating breakfast, she'd walk off to school, though Pat insisted on driving her. On her way to school, she saw more news reports about the death of Spider-Man and the recent disbanding of the Titans East, the local hero team. When she got to the front of the school, she saw students outside of the front door, staring at a police car that was parked. By the car, stood the boy Courtney had saw yesterday when she and her family arrived at their new apartment, Miles.
"Say I love you back." the officer in the driver's seat announced through the speakers.
"Dad, are you serious-
"I wanna hear you say it."
"Dad, are you really gonna-
"I love you, Dad."
"You're dropping me off here-"
"I love you, Dad."
"Look at this place-"
"Dad, I love you."
Miles threw his head back in defeat and groaned.
"Dad. I love you."
"That's a copy."
Some of the other students around him snicker, while Miles sighs and walks into the school. Courtney walks in after him.
"What was that all about?" She asks. Miles turns to her, not recognizing her at first, then remembering after a few seconds.
"Just my dad being weird." He responds, looking down in embarrassment from the encounter with his father.
"Does he always do that?"
"Sometimes. It's a part of his charm, I guess."
"Makes sense. I'm Courtney, by the way."
"Miles. I remember you from outside yesterday. You moved in next door to me."
"Yeah. My mom married a guy and now, we're living here."
"Where'd you live before?"
"Beverly Hills."
"No way."
Courtney chuckles as the two enter the hallway. She takes in how big the halls are and how many classrooms are on each side. She groans lightly, looking at her schedule.
"You okay?" He asks, looking over her shoulder.
"This place is gigantic." She mutters. "I'll never get to class on time."
"Yeah. I've been going to school here for a year and I still haven't gotten used to it yet. Want me to walk you?"
"Please do."
Miles looks at Courtney's schedule and leads her to the classroom it takes place at. On the way there, a voice calls out to Miles, causing him to freeze.
"Miles Morales!" Sean calls out, walking towards Miles, with his arms folded. Miles sighs and rolls his eyes.
"The hell do you want, Sean?" Miles mutters, speeding up a bit to try and get Sean off of his tail.
"Scaring the new girl already, I see." Sean taunts, folding his arms and gesturing towards Courtney. "Trust me Blondie, you can do a lot better than this guy."
"He's just walking me to class." Courtney says, forcing a smile, following close behind Miles.
"Yeah. Besides, didn't the last girl you date threaten to file a restraining ordern against you?" Miles quips. Sean scoffs and takes a step closer towards him.
"Better watch who you're throwing jokes at, dude." He warns, his voice all of a sudden sounding a bit more serious.
"I touch a nerve?" Miles taunts, smirking slightly. Sean takes a few more steps towards Miles, but Courtney steps in between them, grabs Sean, and slams him into a wall.
"Come any closer and I'll show you what a steel toed boot up your ass feels like." She warns, before letting him go. Sean stumbles back, glaring at Courtney and Miles.
"This isn't over." He growls, before walking off. Courtney watches him, with the same cold glare.
"Remind me not to make you mad." Miles says, as Miles continues to guide her to class.
"Who was that anyway? He looked like he came straight out of a Disney sitcom."
"Sean. He used to pick on a friend of mine named Ganke, and then I guess I kind of became his next target."
"I'll kick his ass if he gives you a hard time. Again."
"Really?"
"Yeah. I took a bunch of self-defense classes in the past, but I never got the chance to use what I learned."
"I appreciate the gesture, but I got it." Miles replies, as they approach the classroom Courtney's first class is located in. "Guess we're here, now."
"Please tell me the teacher's not an evil asshole."
"Nah, he's not. If you're not tardy everyday, at least."
"Well, thanks. Mind walking me to my next class?"
"Sure, why not? Getting lost on your first day would kind of suck."
"Yeah. See you later."
"See ya."
Courtney walks into the classroom, while Miles watches her. He stands there for a moment, until Ganke Lee catches up to them.
"Who was that you were with?"
"Nobody. Just some new girl who needed directions."
"Uh huh."
"I'm serious, Ganke. It's not like that." Miles pleads, as the bell rang, signaling for them to get to class. Inside the classroom Courtney was in, Courtney had taken a seat by a girl in the back with dark hair with a purple streak in her hair, her name being Kate. Courtney and Kate had spent almost the entire time talking, since Courtney was new to the school, and Kate was interested in getting to know Courtney. Despite her rudeness and constant sassy and sarcastic remarks, Kate was drawn to Courtney and looked forward to seeing her around. After the first class was done, Courtney and Kate found out that they had their next class together and decided to head there together.
On the way there, they were stopped by Sean, the dude who had picked on her when she was with Miles earlier that day.
“You got some nerve embarrassing me in the hall like that earlier.” Sean growls, towering over Courtney. However, the shorter blonde girl was unphased.
“If this is how you approach every girl you talk to, then no wonder your old ex doesn’t want anything to do with you.” Courtney responds, her lips curling into a slight smirk. Before Sean could say or do anything else, Kate gets in between them, trying to keep the two from getting into a fight with one another.
“Sean, can’t you go one day without trying to fight someone?” Kate asks, pressing her hand firmly into his chest.
“Apparently not.” Courtney answers.
“Say one more word, and I’ll-”
“Is there a problem, students?” a voice asks from the down hall. The three turn to see a tall man with grey hair approaching them, that man being Principal Sims.
“None at all, sir.” Kate says, trying to cool the tension between Courtney and Sean.
“I would hope so. I’d hate for Sean to get a third detention this week.” He replies, eyeing Sean. Sean mutters something unintelligible.
“You should give it to him. Maybe that’ll teach him to mess with new kids on their first day.” Courtney scoffs. Principal Sims turns his attention to her.
“You must be Courtney Whitmore. Your mother has told me that you have a bit of a mouth on you.” Principal Sims replies, with a bit of a disdainful tone. Courtney opens her mouth to reply, but Courtney covers Kate’s mouth before she can say anything else.
“I promise, it won’t ever become a problem for you. Right, new girl?” Kate reassures Principal Sims, slowly removing her mouth from Courtney’s mouth. Courtney briefly glares at Kat before turning her attention to the principal.
“Not at all, sir.” She replies with a forced polite smile.
“I would hope not. Now, carry on to class you three. You wouldn’t want to be late, would you?”
“Not at all, sir. We’ll get going.” Kate answers, dragging Courtney off to their next class. Sean walks off, without saying anything.
“Can you not be a sarcastic asshole for five fucking minutes?” Kate whispers, looking back at Principal Sims, who was hassling some other students.
“Nah. Don’t think I can.” Courtney answers, with a victorious smirk and a smug tone in her voice.
“God, you’re going to be a pain in the ass.”
“Yeah, and you’ll love every second of it.”
“Unfortunately.”
At Titans Tower, Yara Flor stood in the old meeting room by herself, waiting for the other members to arrive. The room was practically ancient by now. The tables and chairs were collecting dust, along with the old monitors, and pretty much everything else in the room. The corners were covered in thick cobwebs, and the floors creaked with every step she took. Yara walked around the room, looking around until she came across an old picture. In the picture Kitty was in front, holding the camera, while everyone else made goofy faces, including Peter, with Emiko having given him a pair of bunny ears. Yara recognized this picture as the one they took after defeating their first villain together, which was Doctor Light. A tear slipped down her cheek before she could realize it, dropping onto the frame of the photo. She wipes it, but a few more keep coming down.
“God, he used to love that picture.” Jessica says, entering the room. Yara looks up to see Jessica, who was standing by the entrance, unmasked. “Remember when he photocopied a copy for each of us and made us keep it in our rooms?”
“It’s our first team victory, so I think we should all be able to savior this moment, so we can have something good to look back at when things get hard.” Yara replies, mimicking Peter’s voice. Jessica chuckles and walks up to Yara, pulling her teammate into a tight hug. Another tear slipped down Yara’s face but she quickly wiped it.
“So, how have you been holding up?” Jessica asks Yara. Yara sighs and runs her hands through her hair, her voice a little shaky.
“I was actually doing kind of well. I got off on my ass, and started going on patrol again, which is nice I guess. It doesn’t feel the same without him, or any of you guys really. I was coming to terms with his death, but then I saw that kid in the Spider-Man suit on the news and now I just-”
Yara sighs again, and buries her face in her hands. Her body begins shaking with sobs and Jessica holds her tightly, rubbing soothing circles into her back, while holding back tears of her own.
“We’ll find this guy, and see what’s going on. I promise.” Jessica vows.
“God, I miss him. I miss him so damn much.” Yara whined in between sobs. Jessica holds her tighter.
“Me too, babe. Me too.” Jessica replies, as the two hear footsteps approaching them. The two look up to see Johnny and Bobby entering the room.
“Jesus, I forget how big this place is.” Johnny says, joining the two girls.
“Hey, Johnny.” Yara says, sniffing and wiping her nose.
“Yara. Jess.” He replies, as Jessica pulls him into a hug and does the same with Bobby.
“Emi and Kitty should be here soon.” Bobby tells the rest of the group and Jessica nods.
“So, do we think it’s a clone or what?” Johnny asks, holding up a picture of the new Spider-Man from the Daily Bugle.
“I think it’s just some kid trying to get famous.” Bobby replies, eyeing the newspaper. “I mean, look at the costume. It looks like he fished it out of the party city clearance aisle.”
“Exactly what I said.” Kitty Pryde quips, as her and Emiko join the remaining Titans.
“Took you guys long enough.” Johnny says. Kitty chuckles and gives Johnny a playful elbow. After all the playful reunions, the Titans sit together at their old table, looking at the empty seat where Peter used to sit.
“Anyone heard from Angie?” Jessica asks, looking at the seat Angelica used to sit at when she was on the team.
“I called her today and she says she’s busy doing something with the X-Men, so she can’t make it.” Bobby answers.
“Dammit.” She mutters, her voice tinged with frustration. “Well, at least the rest of us are.”
“Still can’t believe he’s gone.” Emi says softly. Johnny nods in agreement.
“Felt like yesterday when I was putting hair remover in the dude’s shampoo.” Johnny jokes, trying to lighten the somber tone in the room. Yara and Jessica laugh a little, though Yara was still fighting the urge to shed more tears.
“So. This guy? Totally an impostor, right?” Yara asks.
“Obviously. I mean, look at his costume.” Emi answers.
“We need to find this guy, and shut down whatever he’s doing.” Bobby declares, putting his fist on the table with a stern look on his face.
“Slow down, Bobby. What if he’s actually trying to do something good for the city, like Peter was? I think we should at least give him a chance to explain himself if we’re able to track him down.”
“Or, he could be doing this to capitalize off the death of our best friend.” Johnny cuts in. “People are always doing something like that when someone famous dies. Like Bobby said, we need to stop him.”
“Hate to break it to you, but Jessica might be right. Look.” Kitty interjects, showing everyone a video of the new Spider-Man fighting Richard Dragon outside of Billy Tockman’s Bar. The entire team leans in, trying to get a better look at the fight.
“Alright. Maybe he’s not a fake, but he’s clearly inexperienced. He has no idea what he’s doing.” Johnny says.
“He’ll get himself killed out there.” Yara adds.
“And, he looks too young.” Bobby also adds.
“So were we when we started out.” Jessica protests.
“Dude, we were like 16 when we first started. He’s like at least 12 or 13.”
“Doesn’t make much of a difference, Bobby.”
“Well however old he is, we need to get out there and stop him, before he gets himself killed.” Johnny declares.
“Yeah, but how the hell are we going to find him? He could be anywhere in the city.” Kitty interjects.
“Well, this video was taken outside of a Brooklyn Bar, right? We scan Brooklyn, and hope we’re able to find this guy before some metahuman bashes his head in or something.” Yara suggests.
“Worth a shot, I guess.” Johnny agrees, leaning back and putting his feet on the table. Bobby pushes them off, nearly knocking Johnny out of his chair.
“Alright. When are we going after this guy?” Bobby asks, as Johnny glares at him, putting his feet back where they were. Bobby pushes them again, this time knocking him out of his chair. Johnny falls to the floor with a startled yelp. Jessica sighs, while Kitty and Emi hold back their laughter. Johnny gets back up and sits back in seat.
“Can you guys focus?” Jessica asks, her patience thinning.
“Tell him to get his flaming feet out of my face, then maybe I’ll be able to.”
“Screw you, icicle.”
“This is one thing I did not miss about this team.” Yara muttered, rubbing her temples.
“If I may continue; the new Spider-Man seems to be active in Brooklyn, usually doing sundown hours, so when the sun starts setting, we’ll set out for him and hopefully find him.” Jessica continues, eyeing Johnny and Bobby.
“Then, what? Ask him to join our team?” Emi cuts in sarcastically.
“No. We train him. Prepare him for our line of work. Show him what Spider-Man meant to Peter, and if he’s not ready, then we can shut him down.” Jessica emphasizes. “Any questions?”
“No ma’am.” Johnny says, giving Jessica a playful salute.
“Alright, dismissed for now. We’ll be back here to discuss our plan to find him.”
The team gets up and is about to leave, but Yara stops them all in their tracks before anyone could leave the room.
“I was thinking. I actually have been for a while now, but especially now since we’re all together that we could… I dunno. Bring the team back together.”
Everyone stands in contemplative silence for a moment. The team hadn’t operated since months before Peter’s death, and even then things were still tense, since the Civil War turned them against their friends over on the original Titans, which nearly resulted in the deaths of both teams. However, since then, things have kind of simmered down between the teams, though not all of the way just yet.
After a while, Johnny of all people breaks the silence first.
“I’d be down.” He says with a shrug.
“Really?” Yara asks, a hopeful look in her eyes for the first since they reunited.
“Yeah. Before he died, Pete tried his absolute hardest to keep the team together, even after the whole thing with Nightwing and his squad had happened. Hell, I talked about it with him since we still worked together after we split. I wanted it. I really did, but I didn’t think you guys felt the same way.”
“I’ll be honest, I think this would be a good idea. It won’t be the same without Peter, but I’m willing to give it a shot.” Emi declares. Bobby nods in agreement, standing beside Emiko.
“I couldn’t agree more. We’re long overdue for a reunion.”
“Kitty? Jess?” Yara pleads, looking at them, with those same hopeful eyes.
“I dunno.” Kitty says softly, rubbing the back of her neck.
“Look, I know you guys were close and like Emi said, it won’t be the same without him, but it’s what he would have wanted. He loved this team, more than words can describe it, and I’ll be damned if I let that love be in vain.” Yara says. Kitty sighs and looks up at Yara.
“Can I have time to think about it?”

“Of course. Take all the time you need.”
“Guess I could give it a shot.” Jessica sighs, folding her arms. “On one condition: Emi gets Ollie to renovate this place. It’s starting to look like a haunted house.”
The entire team laughs at Jessica’s remark, with Yara reminiscing about all of the fun memories they had in that very tower, all good and bad. It brings some more tears to her eyes, but tears of joy and nostalgia this time.
“God, I missed you guys.” Yara whines, hugging Jess. Jess hugs back, and Bobby joins in next, with Kitty, Johnny, and Emi joining in last.
After a very long and stressful first at day school, Courtney was finally able to head home by herself. Pat had insisted on driving her to school, but the last thing she wanted was to be stuck in a car with him, so here she was, by herself in the streets of Brooklyn, New York, hoping none of the dudes hanging out suspiciously in corners would talk to her. That hope wouldn’t stay true for very long, unfortunately.
“Ayo, white girl.” A guy in a hoodie calls out to Courtney, his friends blocking her path.
“What the hell do you want?” She asks, folding her arms.
“What you got in that bag?” He asks, gesturing towards her bag.
“None of your business.” Courtney replies, before trying to walk away. However, one of the other guys shoved her back, keeping her from leaving. “I’m gonna ask you again, white girl. What you got in the bag?”
Courtney sighs heavily and takes it off, but instead of handing it to him, she smacks him across the face with her bag, kicks one guy in the groin, elbows the last guy in the stomach, and takes off running. The three guys try to chase her down, but they’re not fast enough and she manages to outrun them, and keeps on running until she makes it home. When Courtney finally makes it home, she bursts through the front door, which was thankfully already unlocked, and stops in the middle of the living room, accidentally knocking over a pile of boxes. Once Courtney catches her breath, she bends down to pick up the boxes, one of them which was upside down. She picks up the box and notices something… peculiar about what’s in it.
In the box, a newspaper about some old timey superhero team sat, collecting dust and in the picture was… Pat? Dressed alongside someone who seemingly dressed similar to that of Captain America, since he was wearing a red, white, and blue outfit with a star on his chest but really wasn’t since he had no shield, and instead, had a glowing staff in one of his hands.
“The hell?” Courtney mutters to herself, flipping through the newspaper for a moment, before digging into the box. She pulls out the costume seen in the picture and examines it.
“Courtney! Is that you?” She hears Pat asks, hearing him approach the living room. Startled by the sound of his voice, Courtney quickly puts everything in the box and shuts it back, right before Pat enters the living room.
“Hey, kid. How was your first day?”
“It was good, I guess.” She answers, trying not to look or sound suspicious.
“Make any new friends?”
“Just one. Some girl named Kate's in the same first two classes as I am.” She replies dryly, with a shrug.
“Good to hear.”
“Can you leave me alone, now? I don’t wanna talk to you longer than I already have to.”
Pat sighs and nods before walking into the kitchen. Courtney waits until Pat is not looking and then grabs the box she found the costume in, taking it up to her room. Once she’s up there, she closes the door and locks it. She digs through the box, seeing more newspaper articles about something called the “Justice Society of America”, another mentioning something about the “Seven Soldiers of Victory” and even one with Pat, and this mysterious “Starman” fighting alongside the real Captain America, and of course, there was the costume, that was now sitting on her bed. Courtney picks it up and examines it once again, before putting it down, and picking up her phone and dialing a number.
“Hello?” Kate greets, her voice blasting through the speakers on Courtney’s phone.
“Kate, I need you to come over late tonight. There’s something I need to show you.”
