Behind the scenes
Chapter 1,
It was a normal day in Ninjago city, giant fiery snakes roaming around?Yup, that's home alright.
Whilst chaos is reigning, Gayle, a local news reporter is reporting a ‘Who's the best puppy contest!’, yeah safe to say she does NOT want to be there, while her cameraman Vinny is FINALLY at peace with himself ,at least he isn't recording an ‘epic’ battle between a giant monster from another realm and the mighty Ninja with elemental powers.
Both of them clearly have opposite opinions when it comes to their job and what they call ‘reporting’.
But THEN Gayle shit talks her rival ON national tv, LIVE.
Vinny TRIED to stop her but he couldn't though Gayle doesn't really care now that she got to interview one of those fiery, fire ball spitting snakes and actually got some info out of him, (or her she doesn't really know).
Anyways after that in the breakroom of the NGTV news building she's ranting to Vinny about the shit talking her rival and how it got leaked on live, and she's gonna get a warning from the company, that they might dock her pay AGAIN.
After she simultaneously creating an anonymous blog post where u can leak information and conspiracy theories about stuff (with proof ofc) and Gayle writes about it but then SOMEHOW and SOMEWAY some one leaked that it was her and now she's a very FIRM believer that it was her rival 100%, she also blames him for the shit talking on national tv thing, that he didn't even do but she still thinks it was him.
And Vinny is well… Just glad she doesn't blame him like he thought she would. Although her talking can be VERY annoying for some people it doesn't bother him since he's used to it by now because he's been her camera man for years, also because before her he was a camera man for a bunch of OTHER news reporters that used to the same thing, not caring about him whatsoever…or anyone else really.
So it's just background noise for him.
He always tunes in listening, sometimes chiming in with a “mmm” or “OHH” if he’s really engrossed in the story or just her life in general.
