Work Text:
The dorm was calm that morning, sunlight spilling softly across the living room floor. Jeongin wandered in, a box of Pepero in hand, pretending to casually glance around. Bang Chan was already lounging on the sofa, scrolling on his phone.
“Hyung,” Jeongin called out, holding up a stick like it was nothing. “Do you… want to play a Pepero game?”
Chan looked up, eyebrows raised. “You want to play a game… with me?” he asked, curious but amused. “Sure, why not?”
Jeongin smiled faintly, trying to hide the nervous flutter in his chest. In reality, this was part of a “mission” the staff had given him—to play the Pepero game with every hyung today. But from Chan’s perspective, it was just Jeongin being playful, casual, maybe even a little cheeky.
They each took a stick, positioning themselves across from each other. At first, it was simple, almost boring—tiny bites, shy giggles. But as Jeongin leaned in slightly, Chan’s eyes flicked to him, curious at the sudden closeness.
“You’re acting different today,” Chan said, smirking.
Jeongin shrugged, trying to seem nonchalant. “Maybe… it’s Pepero Day,” he murmured, biting carefully.
The stick snapped between them sooner than expected. Jeongin’s heart raced, but he forced a casual smile as Chan laughed, leaning forward and pressing a quick, teasing kiss to his cheek. “Good job, kid,” Chan said, sitting back as if nothing had happened.
Jeongin’s cheeks flamed, but he nodded, keeping the energy playful. He offered another stick, grinning faintly. “Round two?”
Chan laughed, picking one up. “Round two it is,” he said, stretching out casually. But this time, Jeongin leaned a fraction closer when they bit the stick, letting their lips brush lightly, just enough to make the moment feel intimate yet completely natural.
When the stick finally broke, Chan leaned in for another small, teasing kiss—this time on the corner of Jeongin’s lips. “Okay, that was fun,” he said, still oblivious to the fact that Jeongin was secretly checking off the first “mission.”
Jeongin grinned, stepping back slightly. “Yeah… fun.” Inside, his heart was pounding—not just from the closeness, but from the knowledge that the day was just beginning. He had a whole list of hyungs to play this game with, and he had to make each one feel spontaneous, playful… and completely his idea.

The dorm was quiet in the late afternoon, sunlight spilling in soft streaks through the blinds. Jeongin tiptoed into the living room, Pepero box in hand, and spotted Hyunjin sprawled across the sofa, half-asleep, one arm tucked under his head. He looked impossibly lazy, yet there was something magnetic about the way he lounged there.
“Hyung…” Jeongin said softly, holding up a Pepero stick. “Do… you want to play Pepero?”
Hyunjin cracked one eye open lazily, smirking. “Hmm… Pepero, huh?” His voice was slow, teasing, with a hint of amusement. “You’re going to make me do all the work, aren’t you?”
Jeongin hesitated, heart racing, but nodded. Hyunjin yawned dramatically and stretched, pretending to be utterly lazy, letting Jeongin take the lead. Without moving, he held the Pepero stick to his mouth, lounging as if daring Jeongin to do all the work.
“Go on then… bite it,” Hyunjin murmured, his voice low and teasing. “I’m not moving.”
Jeongin leaned in, taking the other end of the stick between his lips, nibbling carefully. As he ate down, their faces grew closer, and the warmth of Hyunjin’s gaze sent shivers down his spine. When the Pepero was nearly finished, their lips brushed—light, accidental, and electric.
Jeongin froze, cheeks heating. Before he could even react, Hyunjin’s sly grin deepened. With a smooth, sudden movement, he flipped Jeongin over, pinning him lightly against the sofa.
“Finally…” Hyunjin murmured, leaning over, hands bracing on either side of Jeongin. “You look way too cute like this.”
Then the teasing began in earnest. Hyunjin pressed soft, quick kisses all over Jeongin’s cheeks, jawline, and down to the base of his neck. “Mmm… trying to focus, huh?” he whispered against Jeongin’s ear, lips brushing teasingly.
Jeongin squirmed, laughter mingling with mock protests. “Hyung! I hate this! Stop it! I… I can’t—haha!”
Hyunjin chuckled, unbothered. “You’re lying,” he teased, fingers lightly brushing through Jeongin’s hair. “I can tell you like it… you’re so flustered, it’s adorable.”
“No! I’m not! Hyung, I—” Jeongin tried to push him away, but his struggles were gentle and futile. Hyunjin’s playful hold and teasing persistence left him little room to escape.
“You let me relax earlier, now it’s my turn,” Hyunjin murmured against his neck, peppering another series of soft kisses, tracing little paths along his jawline. “You act like you hate it, but I can see it in your eyes…”
Jeongin gasped, cheeks burning red, flailing slightly but unable to stop laughing. “H-Hyung! I… I hate you! Stop!”
Hyunjin finally pulled back, leaning slightly with a satisfied, teasing smirk, eyes glinting with amusement. “Cute little liar,” he said softly, ruffling Jeongin’s hair. “You were so serious before, and now… I get to enjoy this.”
Jeongin panted, cheeks aflame, half-laughing, half-grumbling, glaring at Hyunjin like he wanted to scold him but couldn’t bring himself to be mad. From Hyunjin’s perspective, it had been a playful, teasing game. From Jeongin’s perspective, it had been chaos, fluster, and somehow… an exhausting little thrill.

By late afternoon, golden sunlight spilled across the dorm floor. Jeongin tiptoed toward Lee Know, Pepero box in hand, trying to steady his racing heart. He spotted the hyung lounging on the carpet, headphones around his neck, stretching lazily.
“Hyung…” Jeongin said softly, holding up a stick. “Do… you want to play Pepero?”
Lee Know’s gaze lifted slowly, a teasing smirk forming. “Huh… me? You came to me?” His voice was calm, playful, with a competitive glint. “Alright… I guess I can’t say no. But don’t expect me to go easy on you.”
Jeongin’s stomach fluttered. “I… I’ll try my best,” he muttered, offering the stick with a small, nervous smile.
Lee Know accepted it, positioning himself across from Jeongin. “Good,” he said simply. “Let’s see who snaps first.”
The game began cautiously—slow bites, careful glances—but Lee Know’s composed, teasing energy made Jeongin increasingly aware of every brush of their hands.
“You’re too tense, maknae,” Lee Know murmured, voice low and teasing. “I think you’re enjoying this more than you want to admit.”
Jeongin’s cheeks heated. “I’m… not… really,” he complained, trying to focus, though his flustered expression betrayed him.
Lee Know smirked, leaning in slightly so their lips brushed just lightly. “Cute when you complain,” he said softly. “You’re impossible to read.”
As the Pepero neared its end, their lips touched again, slightly lingering. Jeongin froze, face flushing. “Hyung… stop… I… I can’t—” he muttered, trying to wriggle away, though his movements were gentle and flustered rather than frantic.
Lee Know’s teasing grin widened. “Not really,” he whispered, peppering soft, quick kisses across Jeongin’s cheek and jawline. “You’re too easy to tease… and honestly, you like it.”
Jeongin tried to shift, complaining softly between breathy laughs. “Hyung… seriously… you’re… making this worse.”
Lee Know chuckled, steady and confident, letting a few more quick kisses trail down to Jeongin’s neck before finally leaning back. “Relax, maknae. You started the game—you knew this would happen,” he said with a satisfied smirk.
Jeongin sank back, cheeks blazing, still flustered but laughing quietly under his breath. Another “mission” completed, another hyung unknowingly wrapped into Jeongin’s plan.

The dorm was bathed in the golden light of late afternoon. Jeongin walked into the living room, Pepero box in hand, and spotted Changbin lounging on the sofa, one elbow propped up, smirking lazily at him.
“Hyung…” Jeongin said, holding up a stick. “Do… you want to play Pepero?”
Changbin’s eyes lit up instantly, playful and mischievous. “Oh? You came to me now, huh?” he teased. “You know I don’t go easy, right?”
“I’m not afraid,” Jeongin replied quickly, cheeks warming just a little, but his tone was confident. “I can handle you.”
Changbin grinned, leaning forward slightly. “Good. Let’s see if you can back that up, maknae,” he said, smirking.
They positioned themselves carefully. Changbin was playful, teasing, and a little bossy, but Jeongin held his ground, keeping the stick steady as they nibbled down. Every so often, Changbin’s fingers brushed his, just light enough to test his reactions.
“You’re way too serious,” Changbin murmured, leaning in slightly. “Relax… or I’ll think you’re scared of me.”
“I’m not scared of you,” Jeongin said, lips twitching with a small smirk, even as his heartbeat quickened. “You’re the one trying to scare me.”
Changbin laughed softly, letting their lips brush lightly in a teasing gesture. “Sure… keep saying that,” he said, voice low and playful.
When the Pepero was almost gone, their lips brushed again, and Jeongin froze for a second—but not in fear. He muttered, “Hyung… you’re cheating,” pushing back slightly with a teasing glare.
Changbin’s grin widened. “Cheating? Nah… I’m just making it more fun,” he said, leaning in just a little more to press a soft kiss on Jeongin’s cheek.
Jeongin squirmed slightly, complaining softly, “Hyung… you’re impossible.” But there was a spark in his eyes—he wasn’t weak; he was pushing back in his own way, teasing with words and small gestures, keeping the playful tension alive.
Changbin chuckled, ruffling his hair and leaning back, clearly satisfied. “You’re cute when you complain, maknae… but I like that you’re keeping me on my toes,” he said, voice playful.
Jeongin exhaled softly, cheeks flushed but grinning, muttering under his breath, “You’re the impossible one, hyung.” Another hyung down, another “mission” complete, but Jeongin walked away with his head high, playful and strong, still flustered but definitely in control of his own energy.
_____________
The late-afternoon sun filtered through the windows, casting a soft glow across the dorm. Jeongin walked toward Han, Pepero stick in hand, and found him sitting on the sofa, leaning back casually, a small, teasing smile on his lips.
“Hyung…” Jeongin said softly, holding up the Pepero stick. “Do… you want to do Pepero?”
Han tilted his head slightly. “Oh? You came to me? Trying to make me do it?” he asked lightly, playful but calm.
Jeongin held the stick steadily. “I-It’s not like that… I just thought it’d be fun,” he said quietly, avoiding Han’s gaze with a faint hint of tsundere in his tone.
Han leaned forward just a little, brushing the tip of the Pepero with his fingers. “Alright… I’ll do it,” he said, still teasing.
They held the Pepero together, starting slowly. Han nudged Jeongin lightly and smiled faintly at his composed expression. Jeongin kept calm, letting Han’s light teasing happen without reacting much.
After a few bites, Jeongin murmured, “I’m… kind of doing this because it’s a mission.”
Han’s playful smile faded into a small frown. He leaned back slightly, fingers resting on his lap. “Wait… you’re only doing this because of that?” he asked quietly, a touch of disappointment in his voice.
Jeongin looked at him evenly. “I came to you anyway,” he said, calm, slightly teasing. “Doesn’t mean I didn’t want to.”
Han relaxed a little, though the small frown lingered. “I guess… okay,” he said, reaching for the Pepero stick again, still sulking slightly but lightly.
They continued, leaning in close, fingers brushing occasionally. Han would nudge Jeongin softly or glance at him with a teasing expression, and Jeongin stayed composed, letting the interaction flow naturally.
When the Pepero was gone, Jeongin leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss on Han’s cheek, then pulled back.
Han looked at him, lips curving into a small smile. “You make it… complicated,” he murmured, still playful.
Jeongin muttered quietly under his breath, “You’re the one making it complicated,” and stood, walking away, leaving Han sitting there with a faint, lingering smile.

The dorm was quiet, the warm late-afternoon sun stretching across the wooden floor. Jeongin carried a Pepero stick and walked over to the sofa where Felix was sitting cross-legged, headphones hanging loosely around his neck. He looked relaxed, leaning back slightly with a faint smirk, scrolling through his phone casually.
“Hyung…” Jeongin said softly, holding the Pepero between them. “Do… you want to do Pepero?”
Felix looked up, raising an eyebrow. “Me now? You’re picking me?” His voice was calm, light, teasing. “Trying to make this fun?”
Jeongin’s expression stayed neutral, but there was a slight edge to his calm. “I… thought it’d be fun,” he said quietly, avoiding Felix’s gaze for just a moment.
Felix leaned forward slightly, letting his fingers brush against the tip of the Pepero. “Alright… let’s do it,” he said, still playful but composed.
They positioned themselves, holding the Pepero carefully between their lips. The first few bites were slow, quiet, with small brushes of fingers and elbows. Felix nudged Jeongin lightly a couple of times, leaning in subtly with a teasing smile whenever Jeongin’s calm, almost indifferent expression didn’t change. Jeongin stayed steady, just letting his eyes flick toward Felix now and then, a faint hint of amusement in the corner of his gaze.
Felix tilted his head slightly, brushing a stray hair behind his ear as he leaned in, teasing softly. “You’re taking this way too seriously, you know,” he said, voice low and calm.
Jeongin’s lips pressed into a thin line, his expression unreadable. “I’m not serious,” he said evenly. “You’re just… moving too much.” There was a subtle tsundere tone, but it was quiet, natural, like a small undercurrent in their interaction.
As the Pepero grew shorter, the quiet tension built. Felix’s playful teasing grew bolder. He leaned in slightly closer, brushing their fingers together more deliberately. Jeongin remained steady, holding his side of the stick, eyes flicking toward Felix but otherwise calm.
When they reached the last bite, Felix’s composure finally slipped. He leaned in and pressed a soft kiss on Jeongin’s lips, just long enough to linger without forcing the moment. Jeongin froze for a fraction of a second, caught off guard, his lips parting slightly.
“I… wasn’t expecting that,” he murmured quietly, calm but with a subtle flicker of surprise in his tone.
Felix pulled back slightly, a faint, satisfied smile tugging at his lips. “Guess I couldn’t help myself,” he said softly, voice playful but gentle, letting the warmth of the moment linger.
Jeongin shook his head, muttering under his breath, “You’re impossible,” and lowered the Pepero stick, stepping back just enough to give them both space. He felt the quiet warmth from the kiss, subtle but tangible.
Felix relaxed into the sofa again, stretching his arms casually. His eyes followed Jeongin for a moment, still amused, letting a small smile linger as he watched the younger boy move toward the last member.
The quiet dorm air felt warmer now, the simple Pepero game leaving behind a gentle, playful tension. There were no words needed; the interaction spoke for itself. Jeongin’s calm, slightly teasing presence balanced Felix’s moment of impulsive affection, letting the Pepero game feel intimate without being overdone.
With a final glance at Felix, Jeongin straightened and walked toward Seungmin, Pepero stick in hand, ready to finish the last round.
_____________
Jeongin walked over to Seungmin with a Pepero stick in hand.
“Hyung… do you want to do Pepero?” he asked.
Seungmin looked up and smiled faintly. “You saved me for last. Alright… let’s do it.”
They held the Pepero between their lips and started slowly. Their fingers brushed occasionally as they leaned in. Seungmin nudged the stick lightly and made a small, teasing remark. Jeongin replied quietly, keeping his expression steady.
When the Pepero was nearly gone, Seungmin leaned in and pressed a soft kiss on Jeongin’s lips, holding it for a moment.
Jeongin blinked and muttered, “I… wasn’t expecting that,” stepping back slightly.
Seungmin smiled faintly. “Guess I couldn’t help myself,” he said, leaning back.
Jeongin shook his head and muttered under his breath, “You’re impossible,” lowering the Pepero stick.
The game was over, and Jeongin tucked the stick away as Seungmin sat back, smiling quietly.
_____________
Jeongin tucked the last Pepero stick away, glancing around the dorm where the members were scattered, catching their breath from the afternoon.
A staff member appeared at the doorway. “Jeongin, the mission’s complete,” they said with a smile.
Jeongin’s lips curved into a small smirk. “Mission complete, huh?”
Bang Chan, still lounging on the sofa, frowned. “Wait… what do you mean mission?”
Hyunjin, stretching, blinked in surprise. “You mean… all of this—Pepero, the kisses… that was a mission?”
Jeongin nodded calmly. “Yeah. Staff said I had to play Pepero with every hyung.”
Changbin’s jaw dropped. “You… did all that for a mission?” He gestured vaguely at his cheek, then Hyunjin’s antics, then Felix. “You didn’t even complain?”
“I mean…” Jeongin tilted his head slightly, a faint smirk playing on his lips, “it wasn’t that bad.”
Minho raised an eyebrow. “You’re unbelievable, you know that?”
Then Han, leaning casually against the wall, crossed his arms with a small, knowing smirk. “I knew.”
Everyone’s heads turned toward him. “What?” Hyunjin exclaimed.
“I knew it was a mission,” Han said, tone playful but smug. “Jeongin told me while we were playing Pepero.”
Jeongin blinked, a quiet smirk tugging at his lips. “You… knew the whole time?”
Han nodded, shrugging lightly. “Yeah. Didn’t want to ruin the surprise for the others, so I just watched. Couldn’t resist seeing how everyone reacted.”
Felix raised an eyebrow, smirking. “So that explains why he stayed so calm with all of us.”
Seungmin shook his head, still amused. “He really kept it quiet. I didn’t even notice.”
Bang Chan chuckled softly. “I can’t believe you actually went through with all that, knowing it was for a mission. That’s… impressive.”
Jeongin just gave a small shrug, calm as ever, the faintest smile on his lips. “Mission’s done. That’s it.”
Hyunjin grinned, teasing lightly. “Little schemer.”
Han leaned back, still smirking. “Yeah… and I watched the whole thing. Can’t say I’m surprised.”
The dorm filled with quiet laughter and teasing glances, the warmth and playful energy of the Pepero game lingering as the members realized just how cleverly Jeongin had handled his “mission.”
