It was a typical morning in Potions Class.
The smell of ingredients stained the room and there was a mixture of disgust amongst the faces of the students. Professor Slughorn was checking each cauldron to see if the ingredients were placed properly.
Young Severus Snape, a handsome man with a loner complex knew of this. He wrote things in his own diary. It was some sort if cheat code. James Potter, a tall boy with messy hair and glasses gave the Slytherin boy a nudge. It was a playful nudge, at least to Potter. Snape was not so pleased. " Cut that out or I will pour this on you idiot." Snape snarled. James just continued to laugh. He ignored the boy and went back to his friends. These friends were well boys who look to be the troubled ones.
" Did you get him good Prongs?" Sirius Black asked. The dark long haired boy, he was handsome and the girls seemed to find him attractive, but Sirius took no mind and just sort of ignored the glares.
Professor Slughorn raised his hand. It was a signal for the students to stop what they were doing. " Alright everyone, stop what you are doing. We are going to be ending class early as well.. Headmaster Dumbledore is sending everyone home." Of course there were mutters all over the room. Why? Everyone stopped what they were doing. The students turned over to see the Slytherin boy raise his hand.
He could be in Ravenclaw. Severus was smart, well spoken.Severus raised his hand.
" Why is Dumbledore sending us back home so early? Anything we should be worried about?"
Slughorn made a shake of his head." No, this matter is of the adults only. This matter is about something that.. you children may find out soon enough." James looked to his friends Sirius, Remus, and Peter. The Four boys made a laugh. They gave each other high fives. A n Early school dismissal. Sirius however did not look forward to going home, and he did not want to face his evil mother and father. Both are Purebloods and hate everything else.
Then he arrived.
He was a tall boy, long dark hair, dark eyes. He wore the signature Ravenclaw colors of blue. He had smooth skin, he was also wearing glasses. He looked like Sirius in a way, but there was softness to him.
A kind and gentle nature. He looked lost. The four boys however did stare at the new commoner. Who was he? he new boy looked to professor Slughorn. Slughorn waved at the tall boy. " Hello lad, I am sorry but class had to end for the day." Professor Slughorn said. The new boy made a small frown. Oh he was late? He really was.
" What is your name?" Professor Slughorn asked the shy boy. The boy smiled, he bowed his head in respect. " Caspian Wolfe sir. I am a new student here. I am sorted into the Ravenclaw. I am what people call well.. a muggleborn." Professor Slughorn's eyes lit up. A muggleborn? It is rare to find one that is very much open say that he or she was one.
" Well Mr. Wolfe, I am sure you will enjoy it here, but for now I have to tend to the meeting for that adult matter." Slughorn waved to Caspian in return and he left. He walked outside of the hallway and out of view. Caspian was left with the four Gryffindor boys.
" So you are a muggleborn?" James Potter asked the new Ravenclaw. Caspian got startled. He made a flinch and he let his dark hair cover his head. Nervousness. He hated it. He felt shy.
Caspian nods. " T-that is what they call me." Sirius circled around Caspian like a predator hunting his prey. He flicked Caspian on the nose. " Welcome then Mr. Wolfe, it seems Remus and you have similar last names." He points to the tall boy with scars on his face. Remus waved. " I am a Half Blood so we are a bit similar." The Muggleborn grins. James wrapped his arm around the Muggleborn's shoulder.
" Come on tell us more about yourself." Then the five boys walked off.
